I was originally with the company when it was Sprint. When Virgin Mobile took over, the transition was simple with minimal issues. Customer service was always easily accessible, relible and efficient. When Hurricane Sandy hit my area, Virgin Mobile sent a text to all customers affected that our monthly bills had been paid for us!! That is stellar customer service!
I assumed I would be getting the same level of service when Boost took over so I fully intented to remain a loyal customer. I moved to another state and although the network was "available", it was unreliable. As recommended by employees who placed blame on the device, I upgraded only to receive the same spotty service and a shrug from customer service.
It was nice to see an announcement about an "improvement" coming in January however the only changes I'm experiencing are less services.
Boost has merged with Dish. Some phones are not compatible with the new network. Apparently loyal customers are not recognized in "the new system" and we cannot access our accounts online/via the old or new app.
I called customer service at 3pm, waited 10mins for a human, told my story and was quickly told "our system is down, you will have to call back in 2 hours". I questioned hours of operation and was assured "we are open 24 hours, you can call back anytime"
Boost, you are setting the tone for an unfortunate 2023
May you have the year you deserve. read more
