I had an issue with my mobile hotspot and stopped by this T-Mobile store to get some help. Xavier assisted me and had everything diagnosed and fixed in about 10 minutes. He was extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and easy to work with. What really stood out was how helpful and respectful he was throughout the process. If youre going to try to switch you plan to TMobile you might want to think again. First their device reimbursement is on a separate debit card for each phone you pay off. You cannot switch until your previous provider unlocks your phone which may be the next billing cycle. They only tell you this information AFTER you've paid off your old devices. After reading the reviews, I can't tell if you care about this store or not but the customer service by Xavier is ridiculous. Then when asking to speak with the manager, I was lied to and told there is no person to speak with. I found out the district manager name is Marcus. If Marcus cares this place needs to be revamped as far as managers. It's tricking down to the employees. Anthony was awesome until Xavier showed up and all of a sudden he was rude like Xavier. My experience with T-Mobile on Beltline in Addison, Texas was exceptionally great. The sale rep Wendy was super helpful and provided me with many options to solve my problem. Till now I have had no issues with T-Mobile which is why I am so disappointed! I went in to add a line and upgrade my iPhone 12. I was told by one female rep to file a claim on my phone prior to upgrading to get a better deal on my trade in. I left contemplating what I wanted to do and came back to the Addison TX location on beltline the next day. During this visit I was told I did not need to trade in my phone because I could get the 16 for free so I agreed. Rep stated my bill would only go to 168 for both lines. Well, that was the second lie as when I looked at the app a week later it said I owed almost 300. At the time of this discovery, I was out of town and told you I had 2 days to go back to my original location, or I was stuck. When I returned that same day, I was informed of the error that was made as the rep did NOT enter it in the system as a free upgrade but changed me for the phone. To sum up I had to return to my old phone and by doing this lost all the videos that I had from a very expensive concert that I went to plus the loss of the price for a screen protecter that I would not have purchased if the rep did their job correctly. I was refunded the difference but that does not help the money I spend coming back to town early or my lost media. I was given a new screen for my old phone which if I was not misled, I would have got for free anyway! A real resolution would have been to correct the system to let me keep my new phone as I was due it anyway. Guess customer service is not want they do anymore. read more

The customer service was horrible... the young lady her names starts with an L was very unprofessional. i went in the upgrade my sons phone and she literally didn't say more than 2 words to me and when I asked how were the pricing calculated differently from the online price bc she never asked about the phone i was trading in she literally just put together a whole package for me without asking any questions. And was frustrated when i told her I was trading in my sons old phone. i ended up placing the order online i will probably never go into another store unless i have to read more

Stay away from T-Mobile, ordered a phone in February was told I would have it in a week, a week turned into a month, called in to check order they told me I have to come in to resolve. I go to the store, they make wait an hour only to tell me no order number created yet they tell me I will have an order number next week and the manager will call me. Into the next week Manager never calls. I go to the store the next week told the same story, manager not available he never calls again. Into the next week go to the store no answers. Call later in the week finally talk to the manager he says he knows nothing about this can't give me an eta on the phone. I said fine cancel the order, now he can't cancel the order have to call order entry to do this. I thought that was odd, I bought the phone through you and you can't cancel the order? Called T-Mobile they told me this must be done via the store, now it escalates, talk to a guy on the phone he says that the order number hasn't been created yet but will be created in two days. He promised I would receive an email with the order number within 48 hours. Never received an email, called again, talked to a woman about canceling the order she had no clue and told me I had to go back to the store to cancel the order. At this point I told her I've been to the store three times and the manager assured me I had to cancel through this process. She had no clue or knowledge of anything. She then escalated this to her manager I waited on the phone for 20 minutes and finally hung up after being on the phone for almost 2 hours. Each encounter whether in the store or on the phone has been one hour plus in time. Think about this when you purchase something and you don't receive it, T-Mobile store tells you to come back to the store because they won't talk to you on the phone, T-Mobile. What's insane is they won't give me the new phone but they won't let me cancel the order either. This is a terrible experience that has no resolution I feel like they stole my money, refuse to give me the phone and there are no options. Every time I call in it is literally starting over no one has a clue and worse yet no one cares. You would think that after I hung up after being on the phone for two hours someone would've called me back. Absolutely no call, no email, nothing...The sick part is, if I call in again I'll be on the phone for hours with no one having any record or clue regarding this whole situation. Again this has been going on for a month. Based on this experience I would highly recommend you stay far away from T-Mobile. I am only writing this to save others from this horrendous headache and experience. I don't want you to lose money and valuable time trying to sort things out over and over again with no resolution. I went to T-Mobile in December of last year to activate my daughters phone. I have been out of town traveling. I was suppose to post this review months ago. It was still T-Mobile when I went there. The guy that was at the desk did NOT speak. I had to speak to him and ask for help. He said all of his associates were with other customers and that I should wait. A young lady came to my rescue. I asked her was the guy in training. She told me that it was her boss and that he manages all of them. I was wondering why I had to wait. I also wondered was it the color of my skin. The young woman had just come off her of lunch. She didn't even have a chance to catch her breath. Meanwhile the "manager" stood there on his phone. His pants were sagging. I could see his underwear. He does NOT look like a manager. He was at the front desk playing tik tok videos and did he care that the customers could see it. An African man walked in after me and was asking for help and the "manager" let out a deep breath as if the guy was inconveniencing him. I could NOT believe it. I found out from the employees that he is always like that and that they have to cover his work a lot. The poor kids have to be in the late teens early twenties and this man is taking advantage of them. Where are the cameras? Corporate doesn't see this? Why is he on his phone on the sales floor? Why is just standing there? Why is he not walking around greeting people? The only thing I enjoyed were his employees. They were the sweetest but at their wits end. I asked for a corporate number and was told the DM ONLY looks at yelp. To the employees I apologize for the late review. I pray this helps. read more
