He's the only reason that there is 1 Star, because the other man that I got a CND full set of nails w/ tips and gel polish was TERRIBLE! My fiancé took me as an early Anniversary surprise on Tuesday 6/27 for a pedicure and a full set for me. THE WORST RESULT and full set experience I've ever had! My full set was/is very thick at base of the nail bed and at the tip, but skinnier in the middle. So, they're uneven over the whole nail bed & do not feel comfortable or look ok! And they wouldn't correct it!! I asked for corrections and the guy said to call back or come back the next day, as he noted, "His shift was Done"!! Honestly, after all the crap and being there for over 3 hours I was done, and didn't want to wait any longer. I told the man that was doing them that I wanted them longer when we started, before & while he was clipping the tips, and he didn't listen!! He even called over a man that seemed to be the manager, and he wouldn't listen either!! Finally, after he did the first coat of the CND, I told him they didn't look right, so he only would re-do 2 of them (the 2 middle fingers). I was uncomfortable with it and he was very pissed to have to redo them. Instead of taking them off, he added a tip on top of the tip. They're bending upwards in the middle on multiple fingers, and I've called, emailed & gone by and since he wasn't there, they could "do nothing". 1/2 of the tips of my nails are bending upwards. Needless to say my calls, emails and voicemails were NEVER returned, which makes sense to me more, as while we were there I noticed that they have caller id that says the number and name of the caller on speaker!! So why would they answer when they know I'm calling about poor service and quality?! Just ridiculous and unprofessional!! Still... I've gotten no response!! MANAGEMENT: Can you please let me know when I can come in to get them corrected? Service was done on 6/27/23. I've called and emailed over 5 times!! UPDATE: Shortly after typing my review, my left pointer finger nail broke in half and started bleeding at the quick! It broke in half, not because I use them TOO much or do extensive physical labor, but because the middle is soooo thin versus the base and tips of the nails! I didn't even say that my right thumb has been bleeding and bandaged for 3 days due to the excessive glue and hard filling, pulling the skin apart under the nail. But I'm going to post it now. I love giving glowing, positive and detailed reviews, and it hurts calling companies out of they're failing...HOWEVER, this business is failing on a level 10!!! At this point I just want my money back for the nail service (not the total amount for the day, solely for these terrible nails)!!

I found myself obsessed with how long my nails lasted between fills and often got scolded for this! However, when you come from breaking nails often to not at all, it's amazing! Elizabeth is the best at this. Not sure if Ashley is still there but she was very good too. Anyone is good to get a pedicure from. I asked my mother-in-law if she knew a good spot for a mani/pedi I could get before the wedding. She said, "Oh I know JUST the place." Immediately when I walked in, I knew I was not in a "typical" nail salon. Main Street Nail Studio feels more like a relaxed wellness center with the vibes of a cozy café. It is spacious, warm, and comforting. Such a welcomed contrast from other salons where it can feel like a crowded factory line of sardine-packed rows of chairs. Here, I felt like I was resting in an easy chair in the corner of my own living room. Joslyn did both my pedicure and manicure. She is a pro. I asked for a light pink- but not too pink, and she pulled four different options to try. Throughout the pedicure, she told me exactly what was in each of the scrubs and explained why each treatment was being used. She spent extra time working around every corner of my toes and feet. My feet are so soft now- my toes feel like tiny pillows and my heels like they are covered in satin. The manicure was just as thorough- Joslyn worked with care on shaping my nails beautifully and painted three coats of polish with precision. I've never had a pedicure or manicure done with such attention to detail, and I've certainly never had one that looks this good a few days later. She is a true artist! Throughout the whole treatment, I enjoyed talked with Joslyn about her experiences as a woman, a mother, a teacher, a community builder, and a creative. I realize that "doing nails" is just one thing that she does- but seeing the way she does that, I know Joslyn would have glowing Yelp reviews for the rest of it, too. All in all, Marlene, Joslyn, and everyone else at Main Street Nail Studio have created a lovely, one of a kind salon environment. In a world of conveyer belt nail salons, this one is a shining gem.
