I've known Dees and her family for years and I've been coming here off and on since I moving to Woodstock. Not only is she a good at what she does but she's also a lot of fun to talk to. It's like talking to an old friend from school. Dees always seems to know all the best places to eat and I can always depend on her for sisterly advice. Read reviews and decided to try this salon to have my nails done for my daughter's wedding. They were nice. The girl who did my gel nails did a terrible job! She didn't hurt me which I appreciated. I am not new to gel nails and I noticed toward the end they were a tad lumpy. I hoped they would smooth out as they hardened. They remained sticky. I returned at the one week point. I asked for gel to be removed and a manicure for rough cuticles. Same girl as first time. She denied doing them. Said it was "the other girl with short hair". Nope. It was HER! She charged me $25 for gel removal and ONE coat of polish which I am removing a few days later due to chipping. Not honest. Poor work. Won't ever go back. read more

My sister and I came for SNS and had appointments. We both got started and halfway through, the lady doing my sisters nails got up and started someone elses nails, never came back. When my nials were done she told him to do my sisters nails. So we had to sit and wait for almost two hours because we couldnt be done at the same time. The man was hitting on my sister the whole time making her very uncomfortable. He did a very poor job on both of our nails. Its been 3 days and both of us have nails that are cracked. I called the salon to ask for a refund but she said it was against their policy. She offered for me to come back in, but id prefer not to have my nails done after ive complained. So awkward. Do not get gel polish removed here (see picture). My nails were filed down flat to remove the gel, and they are pink. They were not soaked long enough with the foil. I have multiple scratches on my nails and I couldn't keep my manicure on (because you could see the scratches through the polish). My finger nails are really thin and not sure how long it will take to heal. I will not be back to this salon. I have never had an experience like this. read more

Wow. Third time giving this place a try. First time I got acrylics and within days, all nails started cracking vertically for seemingly no reason, which I've never seen before in my life. Second time I got another fresh pair of acryllics from who I believe is the owner. I told her about the previous set cracking. She didn't seem to care. The set she did looked very mediocre, uneven, polish was not clean. This time, I got a SNS (dip nail) manicure on my natural nails by a different nail tech. In less than a week, 6 nails have popped off. Why did I pay $35 for a manicure that lasted as long as a regular manicure that costs like $8? Except now my natural nails look damaged and I never got any kind of manicure, she didn't trim cuticles, etc. Not to mention, the remaining dip nails look so thick, the edges and outer portion by my cuticles looks awful and like they're weeks old. They look like they'll pop off soon too. lI'm shocked! Never had this experience before. The last nail tech did tell me they do basic types of nails for "common people." I'm ok with basic but didn't realize that meant subpar. I was consIdering going back to complain and have them redo the dip nails that popped off, but they keep coming off and I dont want to waste anymore of my time. No thanks! read more

I went in to D&D Nails with my mom over an hour before they closed to get a fill in. They started the foil process to remove the nail polish. Another customer came in and they attended her and left the foil on my moms nails for a long time. When they went back to check on her nails the nails were melting. They kept insisting that they could use them but the nails were clearly breaking (they were the consistency of Play-Do). My mom kindly asked them to change the nails but they refused to change them. They said they were about to close and that they had a long drive and wanted to go home. I have never felt the need to write a bad review. I have never experienced such awful customer service at a nail salon. We felt like it was such an inconvinence to them to take an extra 15 mins to fix what was clearly their mistake. read more

Love this place, get the mani pedi because it will save you a few bucks. They also sell some really nice foot lotion and sugar scrub. I am addicted to the sugar scrubs, they smell so good. I own every scent, the mango citrus is the best. read more

Fabulous little gem! Our usual place got too expensive and careless with quality so we were on the prowl. Passed D&D and stopped spur of the moment on a Saturday morning. It was amazing! Excellent prices, very clean. Massage chairs with the foot spa. 2 sugar scrubs, lotion massage, and foot massage. We weren't rushed and it was just overall the relaxing pedicure we were looking for. I do not normally go to this salon but my niece was visiting for the day and I wanted to treat her to a pedi. My normal salon is closed on Tuesdays so we went here. When we arrived, there was one person getting a pedi and one getting their nails done. I explained that my niece and I wanted a pedi and we were immediately seated. 30 minutes later we were still in our chairs with our feet in what had become cold water having received no service. We had also had no communication from any of the staff. My issue is not so much that we had to wait 30 minutes but more that we were not told that before we sat down. If they had simply said that it would be 30+ minutes before they could get to us then we would have left with no hard feelings. At 35 minutes, we made the decision to leave. I explained to the staff that we were leaving and they said absolutely nothing. Literally no words as we walked out the door. We will never go back. read more
