I came to this location today at the recommendation of my friend Jay to see Miss Sue. She was very sweet and had us come back at 11:30. I just wanted a basic painting and told her some concerns I had with my nails due to health problems. She told me that powder dip would be a lot better on my nails than gel, so we did that. I went with a simple black and added a matte finish to the nails. Miss Sue worked so quickly on me. The nails look great. It's a very quiet place since only she was working. I have been going here for months since I moved to Canton. Tommy and everyone here does wonderful work. They don't try to up sell on products. The experience was chaotic. We went in for two mani pedi and waxing. During the pedicures she provided me with a price list and I chose the pedicures. When it came time to pay there was a $34 difference saying that because we got gel pedicures it was an up charge of $17 per pedicure. Then for the manicures there was a $20 up charge per manicure. I skipped the waxing because of all the upcharging. If I am going to be paying $200 for mani pedi I rather drive into town and go to St Regis. At least they offer beverages. read more

I had an appointment that I booked with the owner. I arrived five minutes early and when asked I mentioned that I had a 9:30 appointment. The owner came to the front and said there was no appointment. I said that I had talked to him directly and asked him to check to see if it was written for the wrong date. He rifled the pages and said "No" and that I must have called the wrong number I've used that number for over two years but he kept on insisting that I was wrong. Do not come here to get your eyebrows done! This is the second time that the worker has gotten wax in my hair and left the wax strips on my shirt. Just moved into the canton area, saw a few good reviews for NT Nails and decided to give them a try. The BEST nail salon I have been too, and I always get my nails done. I walked in the door and was welcomed immediately. The whole staff were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. It was a fun family atmosphere. They took their time on my acrylic nails and did an excellent job. It was also a very reasonable price. This was honestly the nail place from hell. I went in to get a full set with my friend. First when the guy doing my nails asked how long and I told him he said really?!? Pshh that's to long. Then when I told him what shape (ballerina or coffin shaped) he said you mean square?? And I said no and explained to him what the shape looked like and he was like ohh ok (with an attitude like he thought I shouldn't get them) he continued to file and mess with my nails for an hour until my friend was done when he then leaned over to the lady that just finished my friends nails and said can you fix these I don't know what I'm doing. The lady nicely apologized and I said it was fine as long as she fixed them. Everything was fine until she started filing my nails...... She cut me four times with the file and one time I started bleeding and it got on the file and instead of throwing it away she continued to use it. She said sorry the file is new so it's very sharp while rubbing the cut with a cotton ball and alcohol. Well of course I assumed it was going to be free or at least discounted. Ha no! She handed me the bill of $30. And both her and the guy hovered over me to see what I would tip. My fingers are now throbbing in pain and I don't even want the nails on anymore. If that wasn't enough some of the nails were uneven and were crooked. I just hope my review will help warn people about this place! I will NEVER go back! read more
