I walk in and put my name on the sign in sheet at around 6:30. I was greeted right away by a few friendly employees and was asked what services I was interested in. I said I'd like a full set of acrylics and a pedicure. I was seated with Kevin at a pedicure station and he was very polite and seemed to be receptive to what I wanted and ideas I had for my nails. I had previous ingrown toenail surgeries years ago so I requested acrylic on my big toes and some of the smaller toes to even out some shorter nails. Acrylic was put on my big toes, none on the other toes like I'd requested. I'm not sure what liquid they wiped over my toes but I now have what I believe is a chemical burn of some sort all around my nail on my left big toe. It has not stopped burning since they wiped whatever that was on it. That was at 7:30pm ish and it's now 10:30pm. When I spoke up about it, I was told I have thin skin and was pretty much dismissed. I sometimes have strange allergic reactions so for the time being I wrote it off as that being another weird allergy. None of the tools they used looked very clean and the drill bits they used on me came out of an extremely worn, dirty sucrets tin. The cuticle nippers used were not in any sort of packaging either. There was no sterilization equipment or chemicals in sight. Moving on to the gel polish, it was very rushed, half of my toenails not painted hardly. Work is just really sloppy to be completely honest. It wasn't until I got home and got a closer look that I realized how bad it really was. They moved me over to the manicure table to start my acrylic set. I was with one tech and then she got up and disappeared into the back somewhere in the middle of the service and then another lady jumped in and haphazardly rush finished the job. The shape nor design was what I asked for and I showed pictures of the exact design and shape/style I wanted to all 3 techs and verbalized what I wanted. I'm just really disappointed. I probably should've spoken up about it more before I paid, but I did not. Partly because I didn't realize quite how poor the work was and partly because I was being rushed out the door as I was the last customer in the salon. $156 dollars spent ($130 with 20% tip) and I walked out with nothing near what I requested and a burnt and painful toe. I'm sad to say the only reason I'll be returning is to ask them to give me a refund or possibly fix the nails and match them to what I asked for to begin with. Although I'm very hesitant to let them fix them for all of the unsanitary tools that are being used.

What I love is that they do both at once if they are able. So while I was getting a pedicure, someone was sitting beside me doing my manicure. It's much more time efficient and takes service to a whole new level. They also offered me a beverage and made sure I was comfortable. I'm looking forward to this being my new nail salon!!

I went to a competitor "Practically" right down the road in the past and was injured by the therapist. It took me a long time (6 years!) to get up the nerve to try another massage therapist.
