I also experienced two other employees-one in jewelry and the other in mens and they were also very kind and helpful. The gentleman was even alert and standing waiting to help someone. It can only be worked on by benchmade and they can only get it from an authorized dealer. Mast is one of them. I dropped my knife to have it worked on and they kept me in the loop along the way. He took his time walking me through the aisles, helping me locate everything on my list (and even reminded me of an item I had completely forgotten I needed!). What really stood out was how patient and attentive he was--never once did he seem rushed or irritated, even with all my questions and back-and-forth. It's rare these days to come across this level of customer service. Ray's kindness, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help made a big difference in my day, and I truly appreciate it. I really don't understand why payment was made to these people considering the wrong billing address was showing. Really irresponsible. Update your system. I had had no intentions on really buying anything, but you never really know. Check out can be a little difficult. The line starts in one of the aisles and supposed to go down it and around the right so that it loops around. I feel like they need to have an arrow pointing to the direction of the line because the sign is hanging from the ceiling doesn't make it very clear. I was standing thinking I was next in line, but really, I was not at all. Vanessa was the cashier who processes my return. It was a quick and easy process, and she was very friendly and polite. She stated everything that she was doing and how the refund would be processed. I use my credit card to make the purchase and I had needed it to get the refund. I grabbed the wrong credit card , so the right one was in my car. Nonetheless, I went to grab it from my car and she was patient until I returned. Many options here and I plan to return.

The dynamic was hard to ignore and came across as both misogynistic and racially biased in the way he monitored and interacted during what should have been a completely normal customer service interaction. It was blatantly uncomfortable to witness. As someone who shops here regularly, this was extremely off-putting and disappointing. If this is how employees are treated in front of customers, it raises concerns about the work environment behind the scenes as well.
