First off no one greeted me and then all I heard was the employees discussing what college they were going to. Which is fine, but it would have been great to get a hello first. They did notice I was carrying around a bit and offered to start a dressing room for me. My biggest issue was that the store was only open for two weeks and they had barely any smalls left in a lot of the styles. I went back a week later and still the same problem. This might just be something were they need to see what people are buying so they know what to order and right now don't have the ordering quite right. But, it is really disappointing to like multiple things and have there be no smalls in sight. Even with all that I will be back for sure. They have some nice pieces (when they have your size) at pretty affordable price points. I would put it on par with like Francesca's Collection. It wasn't worth the price, so I returned it. I would not recommend ANYONE attempt to order/return online. Approximately $18 was deducted from a $50 order for a shipping label (which you print yourself, I might add) shipping itself, and also tax (what and why??). All this was according to their customer service. I saw on the site there would be a $7 shipping label charge (that in itself is ridiculous since all they do is email it to you and you print it), but I wasn't expecting all the rest. Utterly insane. I ended up getting around $30 back, less even than the subtotal of the order. So I lost almost $20 for nothing. Can you imagine paying $20 just to return a mesh top? Needless to say, return shipping is absolutely horrendous, and I wouldn't recommend anyone order online unless you have a store nearby or are sure you won't be returning. Obviously, I won't be buying anything again. The cherry on top? I tried to leave this review on the actual site, and they refused to post it, citing that I had "mentioned pricing," which they don't allow. I wonder why. Their online return process is criminal, and the fact that they wouldn't post this review is so unbelievable.

Took my 5 year old here today for her first ear piercing as she has been asking for the past few…read moreweeks. Was delighted to find a Rowan location so close by as I've heard wonderful things from friends! Firstly, being a peds nurse I'm super picky about things like this and love the cleanliness and the fact that these are registered nurses performing the piercing!! Makes me feel so much more comfortable. The location is superbly clean, well lit, in a good area and colorfully decorated. Just feels sanitary!! They have a good selection of earring to pick from for initial piercing as well. We opted for the "ear gun?"(unsure of the proper term here) since she is 5, over the needle piercing. Our nurse was very friendly and made my daughter feel in control of the situation and comfortable. Unfortunately, on the first ear, the ear gun got stuck/jammed and it took a little pulling to get the device off which terrified my daughter but he stayed very calm and cool and professional. I was impressed! She was scared to do the next ear, but with my consent and some deep breaths, we did the next ear without a glitch! I was just so impressed with his calmness and efficiency in the face of an obvious equipment failure, especially since he knew I was a nurse and she was nervous. I've been there as a nurse and it's the WORST feeling and he handled it like a pro. Once we were done, she said it didn't hurt, she just didn't like the noise! She loves the pink flower earrings she picked. At checkout, he reviewed care tips and you are given a little care bag with after care spray. Very helpful! I also had a few additional questions, which he answered kindly and was most helpful. This place is worth the higher price, in the end, I'll pay to hopefully decrease the risk of infection and the promise of a healthy piercing for my kiddos! Definitely will be back when my youngest wants hers pierced!
