I decided to take a look at the beta fish because why not and noticed they are in pretty bad condition. There's algae growing inside the cups, that doesn't happen over night, and a lot of feces. Not only that, but the betas look EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY. There is one fish that's upside down, not dead, and cannot stay under the waterline. I'm assuming it's some sort of bloating. She gave me one and I took it back to the Kalamazoo store as a return. I told her about the charge for a utensil holder (blue) that I didn't get but got charged for it. I went back to the Kalamazoo store the next day because instead of a credit I received an another charge on my credit card for the items I returned. She charged me again for the item. Which I gave back to her. Seasonal employees aren't trained well and the Kalamazoo/Portage manager was extremely rude to me. During this year, they have done ample renovation and expansion and the aftermath seems to be great. The floors are clean and the grocery side seems to be so nice and organized. Well-lit as well. This is one of the stores that have a lot of clearances which can be as low as a $1 at times on clothes. They have also fixed the buy online and store pick up to be faster and more convenient. The systematic value of this Walmart has gone up this year, I can say that for sure. The customer service can be a hit and miss.
