New Braunfels Town Center isn't really in the town center- that's where the square is. This is a bit outside of the downtown area. It's not really creekside either. This shopping center is large, with lots of chain restaurant options, and a liquor store, and plenty of places to shop. Ingress and egress is easy along the Creekside Crossing road and the I-35 frontage road. Parking is plentiful. I do not care for the intersection that TxDot made in front of this place, between this shopping center and Buc-ee's. It briefly makes drivers drive on the left side of the road like we're in Britain or something.

Although I didn't find what I wanted, I did find some very good buys. One of the Ross reusable bags was 50cents so I picked up 2. I finally replaced my wallet when I saw the good prices. I went to the nonperishable food aisle and picked up a bottle of coconut oil for $3 cheaper than it would have cost at the grocery store. You can find Quality spices, Asian spices, Greek style grape leaves for stuffing and herb infused olive oil. I found the employees to be courteous and helpful. One employee stopped what she was doing and walked me to the purse area when I asked where it was located, now that is going above and beyond and excellent customer service ! I think I'll be visiting Ross more often.

Came in to browse around and found something i wanted to buy. Came up to the register to pay and there was no one in line. As we came up to the register the cashier just walked away with no explanation and walks over to chat with 3 other women. And those women are just standing around chatting. So we just stood there waiting for her to come back over to ring us up. We waited about 5 min then she comes over and says just a minute before she would ring us up. Finally rang us up. And then just walked away and told me to grab my receipt out of the machine. So rude and didn't even say thank you or here's your receipt she made me grab it from the place the receipt comes out. And then walked away to go chat with the other gals again. She looked like she was being put out by having to ring us up. Will NEVER come back to this store. And to boot the racks of clothes in the store were mostly empty. The place looked a mess. We left and went over to TJ Maxx. Much cleaner store and the cashiers are so much friendlier and smile and say thank you.

I understand there's a few bad apples in every batch, just monitor your cameras for theft as every other business does but telling everyone that as if their a criminal or could be is HORRIBLE and makes me not want to return, Your new policy is horrible, maybe come up with something better that recognizes the customer could shop anywhere in the world and chose to shop with you, with practices like this you will definitely lose customers to ALL of your competitors, and if you continue you should, SMH.

This Burlington Coat Factory has a LOT of clothes. It wasn't as balanced as other Burlington Coat Factory stores that have about as many gadgets, accessories, houseware, furniture etc...as clothes. But this is great if you're trying to get a wardrobe for you and your family. Men, there is a nice section of dress pants. I posted pictures to give you an idea of how vast the clothes are. I also liked that it was organized in such a way that you can get in and out without bouncing all over the place. My main reason for usually avoiding Burlington Coat Factory is how they have items on displays all over the store in areas totally unrelated to said item. This is not the case here. I was here looking for curtains and curtain rods. I couldn't find any curtains and about 30 curtain rods. Odd. However there were a ton of wall decor. I was sure to make a mental note of this for the future when I have more time to come back and shop for home decor. Not a problem that they ran my credit card early BUT the problem WAS No receipt. Item was put back into stock. No record of transaction I called Penney's credit card company while in the store, being informed the sale transaction was posted 5 days earlier, and not ran as a pending presale. Believe it or not , I found a pair of adidas on clearance in the youth section just under this sign that said , TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 50% OFF AT REGISTER . OF COURSE I grabbed the shoes and then hubby to go check out. When we got to the next open register ,there was Bryn with her kind smile ,... she walked us through the sign up for a Kohls card and was the most helpful, patient little GEM whom I am grateful for. Moral of the story (rant)really...... Sometimes it's the smallest things or things we think aren't that big of deal,that make someone write a positive review or makes us want to return there to shop even. I was able to take him here and there was a whole room set up to wash and dry. Unfortunately the two dryer hoses were broke and the drying towel was flimsy but for $10 you can't beat the price. The room had a large industrial size pet sink, two drying tables, an assortment of shampoos, conditioner, and brushes. This store also had a pretty good size pet section fully stocked with food, accessories, treats and toys. I will be returning between grooming appointments!
