New Braunfels Town Center isn't really in the town center- that's where the square is. This is a bit outside of the downtown area. It's not really creekside either. This shopping center is large, with lots of chain restaurant options, and a liquor store, and plenty of places to shop. Ingress and egress is easy along the Creekside Crossing road and the I-35 frontage road. Parking is plentiful. I do not care for the intersection that TxDot made in front of this place, between this shopping center and Buc-ee's. It briefly makes drivers drive on the left side of the road like we're in Britain or something.

Although I didn't find what I wanted, I did find some very good buys. One of the Ross reusable bags was 50cents so I picked up 2. I finally replaced my wallet when I saw the good prices. I went to the nonperishable food aisle and picked up a bottle of coconut oil for $3 cheaper than it would have cost at the grocery store. You can find Quality spices, Asian spices, Greek style grape leaves for stuffing and herb infused olive oil. I found the employees to be courteous and helpful. One employee stopped what she was doing and walked me to the purse area when I asked where it was located, now that is going above and beyond and excellent customer service ! I think I'll be visiting Ross more often.

I understand there's a few bad apples in every batch, just monitor your cameras for theft as every other business does but telling everyone that as if their a criminal or could be is HORRIBLE and makes me not want to return, Your new policy is horrible, maybe come up with something better that recognizes the customer could shop anywhere in the world and chose to shop with you, with practices like this you will definitely lose customers to ALL of your competitors, and if you continue you should, SMH.

I apologized and told the employee that I didn't want it. He just stared at me. Then he said he didn't know what to do with it. He asked the employee in the stand next to him. She didn't know. He literally turned in circles holding the item like he couldn't think through this problem. My thinking was that I did not want to return it to the shelf because then someone else would get a damaged item. It was just a weird, sad experience. The store is unimpressive. The employees are unimpressive.

That's only my opinion though ladies so don't come for me please Why I'm writing this review ~~ We only went in to grab a couple shirts for hubby ....so I said ,"Welp, I might as well go look at the shoe clearance rack ,while you painfully look for the shirts you want right??" Believe it or not , I found a pair of adidas on clearance in the youth section just under this sign that said , TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 50% OFF AT REGISTER . OF COURSE I grabbed the shoes and then hubby to go check out. When we got to the next open register ,there was Bryn with her kind smile ,... she walked us through the sign up for a Kohls card and was the most helpful, patient little GEM whom I am grateful for. Moral of the story (rant)really...... The room had a large industrial size pet sink, two drying tables, an assortment of shampoos, conditioner, and brushes. This store also had a pretty good size pet section fully stocked with food, accessories, treats and toys. I will be returning between grooming appointments!
