While greeted with a hello upon entering the store, which I'll admit is in a great location and had…read morean attractive enough selection to pull me in while walking to a local coffee shop to work, I quickly realized the staff seemed far more interested in their phones than in customer service. The blazers and jackets immediately caught my eye, especially since that's exactly what I'm currently in the market for. I even found myself eyeing the bourbon in the back and thinking maybe I should finally treat myself to a new suit. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of being left alone versus being swarmed the moment I walk into a store. Great representatives know how to strike that balance perfectly. Unfortunately, that balance was completely missing here. Despite walking through the entire store, nearly every employee remained glued to their phones, with only one person even looking up to acknowledge my presence. It ultimately left me disappointed, not because I expect over-the-top attention, but because I genuinely appreciate a great suit shop and the experience that is supposed to come with it. A quality suit store has always been about more than just expensive jackets on a rack. The experience, professionalism, atmosphere, and attention to detail are just as much a part of what customers are paying for as the suit itself. Unfortunately, it feels like John and Craig has completely lost sight of that at this location. It's honestly a shame to see standards fall this far in an industry built around presentation, professionalism, and service. ---- Update: After posting this review, I was reached out to directly by Alan, and I do want to add that the response from him was immediate, professional, and sounded genuinely concerned. It actually gave me the impression that the goal of this organization truly is to provide a great customer experience and that, unfortunately, this particular visit simply was not their day to shine. Based on the way this was proactively handled, I have updated both my review and star rating to reflect that effort. I also plan to stop back in again when I get the chance, because first impressions matter, but so does the way a business responds when concerns are brought to their attention. I'm hopeful my next visit will better reflect the standards and experience this brand appears to strive for, and if it does, I will gladly update both my review and star rating accordingly.

But they still made us both feel important... and... attractive. :) We all want to look good in our clothing. The clothes that they carry are nice and dresses can easily be $300 - $500. But they had a sales rack, amply stocked, that was 40% off. I bought a very nice skirt for work. They had the waist tailored for me and mailed it to me in North Carolina at no additional cost. My husband got a tailor-made men's shirt and a pair of light wool slacks that look like they were made just for him. This is the place to go to if you want to look great and have a great experience. This is a pretty decent Marshalls located in Jacksonville Beach…read more I came here looking for some sort of sweatshirt or half-zip sweater to battle the strong beach winds and unfortunately didn't find a single one (very odd, I know). However, I did find an insane amount of deluxe edition books that I love at the back of the store, near all their stationery products. As the bibliophile that I am, I couldn't pass up the opportunity and bought a few copies that will keep me entertained while freezing at the beach. Besides that, I also got some great deals on snacks and a few other items for the family. So at the end of the day, regardless of how odd it was not to find a single women's sweatshirt, I still got some great deals on other stuff.

Truth be told, I tend to be in flip flops or sneakers most of the time. This particular trip I was looking for a nude pair of sandals to wear with a dress for family photos coming up. Typically I'll just buy a pair of sandals on Amazon to avoid having to sift through a shoe department, but found a nice pair of heeled nude sandals that looked like they could be a winner. I tried them on, they were slingbacks, they had a velcro strap instead of a buckle, and they had a heel. They were also priced at $24.99, which was a good price. I looked around the remainder of the store, and luckily for me I didn't find anything else, because I really didn't need anything else. I wound up purchasing the sandals. Checkout was a breeze, the associate was nice. Parking was fine here, just be careful there are always people coming and going out of here.
