Well I returned at a later date (today) and asked for a gel manicure and pedicure. The lady said yes and I thought we were off to a good start. You should know their polish is SO LIMITED, mostly old lady colors let's be real (blues, reds and some pinks). They were patient with me as I sampled colors because I went in with wanting a pale/pastel green color - I came out with like a forest green color because that was the best they had. The lady who actually painted my nails did a fabulous job and if this was just a review on the painting it would get 5 starts, but the rest of the service was just bad. There was a lady doing my toes and she ripped off my old polish with cuticle clippers, didn't really let my feet soak so when she used those same clippers to cut my cuticles it was unpleasant. She also kept commenting about my appearance. When it came to the pedicure she sat on her phone while my toes were curing and I must of sat there for an extra 5-10 minutes waiting for her to stop scrolling. Respectfully do that on your own time. She only massaged one leg which was strange and they definitely were judging me the whole time. They also set a lot of their tools on the ground (the uv light, the water bowl) and I just thought that was weird behavior. Overall just go to fashion nails down the street - they are much friendlier and have a bigger selection of polish and it was a 5$ pay difference.

9000 Barbershop is the place TO GO when you are in need of a super fresh haircut/line up. Ian has been my barber for years and I am so glad that he is now featured in a location that is very accessible. Appointments are easy to book. If you need a fresh cut on the weekend, I would call ahead because chances are, you're not the only one that is thinking the same thing. My haircuts always have that extra special touch that no barber in town can emulate. My tapers and lines are super clean, well worth the money spent every time I go. He likes to get creative, so if you are feeling like letting the reins loose, let him work his magic and you will not be disappointed. The shop overall is clean, nice atmosphere, and surrounded by the must have big screen tv's. If there are no games on, you can count on the latest tracks thumping through the wireless speakers. There are many good barbershops in town, but if you are looking for a fun, family oriented atmosphere, great customer service, and of course, perfect fades, tapers, line ups, etc? Go to 9000 and see whats up! read more

GREAT PRICES.. Ive been running into shops charging from 45-60 for a haircut with beard and line up included but it was only $35. I had the pleasure of being helped by Tony, he's one of the barbers there and runs the shop with the other barber which happens to be the father and the owner. Tony was very professional as well as genuine and overall just had a great energy and vibe to help serve the best experience. I got a taper fade for my first time with him today, he took his time to make sure the overall look and details of the cut were up to par. I'm from California and have been looking for a barber who does razor fades and line ups and I came across the place and wanted to check it out. He's a genuine person who's very talented when it comes to barbering. If your looking for a great vibe where u feel like you getting cut by a friend who knows what he's doing rather than someone who treats you like you just another customer who wants to get them in and out ASAP and not work towards perfection in their cuts I'd suggest you check out the place. read more

This is definitely one of the cleanest barbershops in Seattle. I've been to many shops through the years and 9000 has a very inviting, well maintained atmosphere. Although, it's in Pioneer Square there's parking in the area (it's worth a few bucks). Don't let the parking stop you from going, you'll regret it. There are a few different Barbers in the shop. When I first went in the shop I got put in Ian's chair. All the barbers in the shop are good at what they do and are professionals. But Ian has many qualities and skills that are second to none. He is very patient and easy going, which takes away the intimidating feeling that you get when you go to a new barber. He is able work with toddlers all the way up to the oldest of seniors. Ian is trained both as a beautician and as a barber and it shows! He is able to do designs, fades, straight razor shaves, and all of the other wanted cuts. I drive all the way from Kent on a regular basis to ensure that I get the best cut in the area. I recommend Ian and the 9000 barber to anyone. read more

Met Tony today, the owner of T.Brooks Barber shop.. I am a Wish Customer & T.Brooks was the delivery & pick-up location of my orders. I needed to get it delivered there as I am out of town frequently & my landlord doesn't accept packages in their tenants behalf unfortunately. As a Woman I've never been to a barber shop (ever) but Tony was extremely professional & polite over the phone & also in-person. Small Business like T.Brooks that conducts & promotes professionalism & courtesy should definitely expand in Seattle. Tony was also kind enough to give me a ride home instead of me wasting my money on another Uber ride.. I am medically-disabled & Tony was such God-send gentleman & business owner. With the Covid pandemic almost over.. I pray & hope that ALL Businesses Big & Small in the U.S. esp in Seattle will all bounce back & recover financially. God is amazingly good. Let's ALL stay prayerful.. Faith Delivers & can also MOVE mountains.. God Bless to all reading this. read more

This was a good experience. I come from an age and time where you have to be cautious about who you let put hands up in your mane. I know it is vitally important that a barber understands your head shape and the texture of your hair. I watched Tony cutting an Asian gentleman before me and he would not relent and drop the clippers until both the customer and his spouse were happy with the out come. Good barbers are not only concerned with the look but the mind state as well. I know I have found a new barber home, I would suggest no matter how far you have to drive to give these guys a run no matter the nationality these guys got you covered they are true specialist I left with the cut I came for plus some. read more

Attention everyone! If you couldn't find your barber, you HAVE TO come to Tony. I wish I was from Seattle, but I came to Seattle for a business trip from LA, and this is the only guy I've met who cares about your style. Usually I ask a barber to just cut my hair 2x shorter, but Tony proved me that your hair can be more than just a haircut. What is more, I found out that even my so-called beard could look good when it's trimmed. Also it was very nice to chat with him during my appointment. Before I review this barbershop, I need to explain a few things about the chain of events that led…read moreme here, because without that context the haircut would make absolutely no sense. This all started more summers ago than my substance addled brain can recall when I accidentally befriended a raccoon behind a liquor store one messy night. Not just any raccoon. A raccoon that had clearly consumed a concerning amount of bourbon. I discovered him at roughly 2:30 AM sitting inside a tipped-over recycling bin, clutching a half-empty bottle of Wild Turkey like a recently divorced uncle. His eyes were glassy. His fur looked like he had fought a lawn mower and won. When I approached, he stood up on his hind legs, stared directly at me, and burped with the authority of a dock worker who has been drinking since noon. I named him Captain Randolph, obviously. Now, Captain Randolph and I developed a bit of an understanding. Mostly that if I left him alone, he wouldn't scream at me like a Victorian ghost. Unfortunately this peaceful relationship ended when a beam of green light descended from the sky and abducted both of us. Yes. Aliens. Understand that these were not your typical little grey run-of-the-mill butt probing aliens. These were intergalactic pirates. Their spaceship looked like someone had built a galleon out of an enormous chrome dildo (with sails for some reason). The captain had six arms, an eyepatch, and a beard made entirely of glowing tentacles (which were suspiciously penis-y at the tips). They informed me (telepathically) that they had been scanning Earth for "rare biological anomalies." Apparently the anomaly they detected was the drunk raccoon screaming slurs at a streetlight. Captain Randolph was promoted to "Honorary Navigator." I was labeled "Hair Situation: Catastrophic." Over the next several weeks, because time is weird in space, we traveled through parts of the galaxy that can only be described as aggressively stupid. We raided a moon made entirely of cheese. We got into a laser sword fight with a group of sentient sea cucumbers. Captain Randolph stole a small cannon and attempted to duel a vending machine. At one point we stopped at an asteroid bar where pirates from twelve galaxies were arguing about which planet invented barbecue. A lizard the size of a Honda Civic tried to braid my hair and stopped halfway through after whispering, "Gurrrrrrl... this is beyond help." Eventually the alien pirate captain pulled me aside and said something I'll never forget: "Human... your hair carries the chaotic energy of Captain Randolph the Honorary Navigator's liver function." Which honestly felt fair. Twasnt cute. The crew debated what to do about it. One alien suggested shaving my head with a plasma saw. Another suggested launching me into a wormhole and hoping the gravitational shear solved the problem. But Captain Randolph the bourbon raccoon (now wearing a tiny pirate hat) stood up on a barrel and screamed what I can only assume was raccoon for: "THIS MAN NEEDS A BARBER OR I QUIT HENCEFORTH *hiccup* FORTHWITH." The pirates consulted their galactic navigation charts and discovered a small glowing dot on Earth labeled: "Old Habits Barbershop" They immediately returned us to Earth because apparently the universe respects a clean haircut and Captain Randolph needed to go to rehab. Which brings us to my experience. I walked into this barbershop with the hair equivalent of a hurricane that had been through three divorces and a botched facelift. The barber Trent looked at it. Paused. Nodded. Sixty minutes later I walked out with a skin fade so clean and tight, you might've mistaken my scalp for the enormous intergalactic penis shaped chrome pirate ship. Captain Randolph, who now lives somewhere near the dumpsters behind the Taco Bell off Denny Way, looked up at me, squinted approvingly, and passed out in a puddle of what I strongly suspect was his own urine. Anyway. Great shop. Great people. Incredible haircuts. Five stars.
