The other people did nothing and just walked in as she noticed them and yelled at them "to get the f*** out" in their face multiple times, her hands up. Doing that in their face all the way till they simply walked out. Completely out of line. Instead of handling the situation with grace she went over board. We left shortly after. I cannot support a business with workers that treat people in that way. Unacceptable and I wont want anyone I care for treated that way so it definitely wont be a place I suggest to anyone.

The bartender, Amanda, seemed pretty busy taking care of the regulars, which is fair. The TouchTunes jukebox was on, and I went ahead and paid a little extra to jump the line. What happened next was a fascinating display of customer loyalty. The regulars, with a little encouragement from Amanda, started skipping the songs I'd just paid for. It's a bold move, really. I get that the "asshole button" exists for a reason, but it's not usually the bartender's job to press it for sport. Honestly, I don't expect much from a dive bar. But I did expect the simple courtesy of having my music play after I paid for it. It's a small detail, sure, but it's a bit rude to not give your customers a fair shake, no matter who they are. I've always liked this bar, but this time was a bit different. They certainly know how to make new customers feel right at home.

It's a tiny indoor-outdoor bar that serves harder liquors than the West resort, and great beer selections. Screens to watch sports, or you can take your drink into the main lodge to enjoy by the fireplace. They set out waters on the outside counter for thirsty skiiers/snowboarders to easily grab. The reason to come here is Brad's bloody mary. Easily among the best I've had in my life. It's his own special mix that he makes in large batches, because you'll see him pouring 10-15 of the drinks at a time to keep up with the demand throughout the day. And it's perfectly spicy and strong (the mix is so good that you can't tell when your drink is 50% vodka) and only $5 a pop. I hope that shows you why I come back multiple times a day! It'll warm you right up, whether you need some liquid courage to get on the slopes for the first time, a reward after a few good runs, or something to unwind with at the end of the day . Brad and the other bartenders I've seen there take care of everyone, no matter how large the groups get, with phenomenal service. They remember regulars, too. It's exactly the kind of laid-back, friendly bar you'd want at a ski resort. My advice to you is to stop here the next time you visit Mtn. One member of our group witnessed his friend behaving aggressively toward the women in our party, and rather than addressing the situation impartially, Kevin chose to involve himself in a threatening manner toward the women instead. Security should remain professional, unbiased, and focused on protecting paying guests--especially those who are being subjected to aggressive behavior. Using authority to defend a friend rather than de-escalate a situation is concerning and disappointing. Hopefully management takes this into consideration for future guests.

We each walked up to the counter and placed our orders. While waiting, we enjoyed the cozy interior and a live band on the patio. We ordered a few sandwiches, huge pretzels, and a cheese flatbread for the kiddos. I ordered the cold 6" Knuckle Sammy, and it was filled generously with deli meats and fresh ingredients. A very satisfying sandwich. Other sandwiches enjoyed included the Meatball, Pastrami Reuben, and Wrightwood Philly. The pretzels were fantastic, hot and soft, and came with a tasty cheese dip. The beers on tap were terrific. I had the Seasalt & Lime Lager, which was cold and refreshing. I got to try Hazy IPA, which was good, and if you like sours, the Plum Sour is worth a try. I personally would've liked it a touch sweeter and maybe hot instead of iced, but that's just my preference.
