Coming to the Wrightwood Inn for the first and last time this weekend, wasn't a great way to end the night. Vibes were definitely off with the way one server was treating certain people. As the night went on it got worse. Ive never seen anyone treated so horrible as I witnessed Jessica scream at someone, kicking them out. The other people did nothing and just walked in as she noticed them and yelled at them "to get the f*** out" in their face multiple times, her hands up. Doing that in their face all the way till they simply walked out. Completely out of line. Instead of handling the situation with grace she went over board. We left shortly after. I cannot support a business with workers that treat people in that way. Unacceptable and I wont want anyone I care for treated that way so it definitely wont be a place I suggest to anyone.

She likes Guinness draft there and I had Sour Monkey Triple draft. The poutine was good and it was the first time my wife had tried it--she loved it. I thought there could have been a little bit more of the cheese curd, it was fried, but I know every place makes theirs a little different. The atmosphere is great; it reminds you of a cabin on the inside and of course you're in Wrightwood CA so it's a perfect mountain hangout. The tables are clean, the area swept up and a very inviting indoor environment as outdoor environment. This is a rustic environment, so don't expect four-star accommodation. Again, as I said, it is perfect for this area, and I would expect nothing less. The service was great, we had two or three different servers, and they were always polite, knew their menu well, and offered upgrades. Had a great conversation with this server and he had been coming up there for years himself before working there. His daughter and wife were outside, and he would periodically chat with them which made us feel like it was a great family environment. The menu is varied and they have some excellent hamburgers; I have had the patty melt in the past. There is something about being 5000 feet above sea level, having a cold drink, and hot food; it's amazing. I recently discovered the greatness that is the East resort (shorter lines, longer trails, less…read morecrowded) and this bar is a mandatory stop each time I'm here.... well, usually 2-3 stops per day. It's a tiny indoor-outdoor bar that serves harder liquors than the West resort, and great beer selections. Screens to watch sports, or you can take your drink into the main lodge to enjoy by the fireplace. They set out waters on the outside counter for thirsty skiiers/snowboarders to easily grab. The reason to come here is Brad's bloody mary. Easily among the best I've had in my life. It's his own special mix that he makes in large batches, because you'll see him pouring 10-15 of the drinks at a time to keep up with the demand throughout the day. And it's perfectly spicy and strong (the mix is so good that you can't tell when your drink is 50% vodka) and only $5 a pop. I hope that shows you why I come back multiple times a day! It'll warm you right up, whether you need some liquid courage to get on the slopes for the first time, a reward after a few good runs, or something to unwind with at the end of the day . Brad and the other bartenders I've seen there take care of everyone, no matter how large the groups get, with phenomenal service. They remember regulars, too. It's exactly the kind of laid-back, friendly bar you'd want at a ski resort. My advice to you is to stop here the next time you visit Mtn. One member of our group witnessed his friend behaving aggressively toward the women in our party, and rather than addressing the situation impartially, Kevin chose to involve himself in a threatening manner toward the women instead. Security should remain professional, unbiased, and focused on protecting paying guests--especially those who are being subjected to aggressive behavior. Using authority to defend a friend rather than de-escalate a situation is concerning and disappointing. Hopefully management takes this into consideration for future guests.

They have lots of flavors available such as pumpkin, marshmallow, lavender, rose, and standard flavors like vanilla, caramel, and others.
