I had some pretty bad water damage under my kitchen sink and was honestly dreading the process of getting it fixed, but Scott made the process so easy. There was more damage than I originally thought. He calmly assessed the situation, laid out a detailed game plan, and handled it like a pro. He even sourced materials on the fly and kept me updated every step of the way. On top of that, he's super friendly, respectful of your space, and really takes pride in his work. The attention to detail was amazing. Place looked great when he wrapped up, nice and neat. The wife was very pleased. Hire Scott and relax as he is that someone to fix it.

When we contacted Paul and Gustavo to help us with a new vanity for our master bathroom, it quickly became a behemoth project of multiple bathrooms and then progressed to 1500 sq ft of new floors and baseboards. Their crews are always top notch - from tile, to painting, to floors. We are so thankful they helped us take a suburban cookie cutter home and turn it into a unique, beautiful haven for our family. YHE actually should stand for Your Home Exploiter…read more I have only one regret in this life, and that is letting this company into my home. From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. Overall negative experience with our bathroom renovation due to poor safety, workmanship, and…read moreproject management. Examples: a chandelier over the tub was mounted to a plastic box sitting directly on ceiling drywall with the cable unsecured along the attic floor; several items required rework, including a custom vanity with an off-center sink cabinet, unlevel countertops, and visibly slanted shelves; the plumbing work had multiple problems and the plumber and his sister were fired. Ther are many, many other things I could mention. The project took over eight months instead of the four promised, with work gaps of days and sometimes weeks. I met with the PM three times to create a timeline, but they fell behind every time. The only reason he gave was schedule conflicts with other jobs. One positive: Guillermo and Jose were responsive and fully guaranteed their work. They made sure I was satisfied with the end product before ending the project.

We had a last minute change (one day delay) in the delivery that was accommodated. The morning of delivery I called and spoke to a nice woman on the phone. She gave me a window of delivery that would be within an hour to an hour and a half. The truck actually showed up about 20 minutes outside of the estimate, but no worries. The driver arrived and we showed him where we wanted it dumped in the street. It was expertly dumped and I even made a video because my grandson loves all things construction. Our contractor's work crew arrived soon after and got to work. It actually started to rain partway while it was being spread in the backyard. The decomposed granite actually kind of "hardens" in a good way. Still pliable when you walk on it but it doesn't stick to your shoe like sand. Hired Twins Stamp Concrete and Stone to add a 10ft 39; extension our current back patio concrete…read morearea, as well as a 3ft 39; x 5 ft39; slab next to our AC unit to place our trash and recycle bins on. The total time from the first contact to in-person consultation to install was only 32 hours. The work itself was done well, however, there were a number of shortcuts taken. First, the new concrete was not rounded at the edges properly; they left several serrated sections where it should have been shaved down. Second, they left our yard a mess with trash, concrete debris, and piles of earth. Third, the grass (seven-month-old sod) itself was torn apart and not put back correctly or at all. Fourth, they left both of our hoses on. While this may seem trivial, it just goes to show they were in a rush and did not close out the well on a high note. Last but not least, the customer service and general communication (so hard to get ahold of through text or by calling directly) with Twins Stamp Concrete and Stone is abysmal. When I asked him to come back out the day after, he ghosted me. I do not have to tell anyone how extremely unprofessional this is for a 15-year-old business. Honestly? Kind of shocking... So my wife and I spent our Saturday cleaning up their trash and re-seeding the yard. Not ideal, but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes. Overall I would give them a 3/5 and would tell whoever is reading this to take great caution if you decide to hire Twins Stamp Concrete and Stone. Dishonesty and disappearing on an incomplete job is just poor form. UPDATE: 5/19/20 Gustavo (the owner) came out this morning and fixed everything. He was extremely pleasant and did an excellent job. I'm updating his review to five stars for the awesome customer service and being honest.
