On this occasion we were getting a building re-keyed and he was in the middle of doing the job with my wife there while he did it. He received another call where some folks were locked out of their home. So he left our job in the middle to go help those folks. After a number of hours while my wife was waiting he returned to do the job. On his return he completed the job of rekeying the building or so we thought. My wife didn't check the work for she had already been there to long already waiting for him to return from the other job he went to do while doing ours. We found that the keys didn't work almost immediately but we didn't contact John to have it straightened out for almost a month for we're exceptionally busy. When we contacted him to get it straight he said that in order to get it done there would be a cost associated with this for it wasn't his problem. (???)- I was IN CHURCH AT THAT TIME!! (I explained that too). 4) After church & lunch on Sun, I called your wife BACK early afternoon Sunday! She very abruptly stated she "didn't have her schedule in front of her, couldn't deal with it" & was at the hospital w/ her father in law. I told her I understood, no problem, was so sorry to hear about her FIL. I explained I'd been in church so missed her call & asked her to please call me back when things settled/ were better. Phil arrived the next morning and realized quickly that it was not going to be a simple re-key. He was going to have to install new door knobs on some of the doors. Fortunately I had a door knob and deadbolt kit that I said he could install. I asked if he could key all the other locks to be the same as that set. He did. The entire job took him much longer than he thought it would take, but he stayed, did everything that needed to be done, even though he had set up another appointment following mine. I apologize to the person whom he had an appointment with after me. All the locks work smooth as butter.
