Wow! My elderly parents bought an air filter. They bought the wrong size. When we came to visit from California we brought the filter, receipt, and my parents to this place. They took the old one, brought out the new one, NEVER asked for a receipt. They told us the new one was $1.56 more. Fine. My mom gives the guy $2. He leaves, saying he has to get the change. So we waited, and waited, and waited. We asked some workers who didn't know and just kept walking. Finally one guy said, "we'll, that's what happens when you don't have a receipt." Really???? Um, no one ever asked for a receipt! And I told them that! The girl finally came out. I told her we had a receipt. She was shocked. I told her we were never asked for it. She also said we owed just $.56. "And you gave us $2." I said, "that's because we were told it was $1.56!" She had no explanation.
I know this sounds petty, but if one cannot competently work a front desk, he shouldn't be doing it. We were in there for about 30 minutes for a simple exchange without any apologies or acknowledgement that it could have been avoided had it been handled properly. read more
