UPDATED REVIEW 2026: Between 2023 and 2026, Superior HVAC and Tank Removal performed service on our…read moreHVAC system (that they originally installed) at least 5 separate times. These visits were all related to the same issue - the system did not function properly to maintain the desired air temperature, particularly in the summer months. As the HVAC system installed was still malfunctioning, and we learned that the warranty was held by Bosch and did not require us to use our original installer, in May 2026 we decided to call another company we located due to their familiarity with Bosch systems to come look at the system. This new company was so appalled by the mess of the state of the wiring of the system and our prior experiences trying to have this issue resolved through Superior HVAC and Tank Removal that they did not bill us for their initial diagnostic visits. This new team immediately determined that the main power board on the inverter was fried and ordered a replacement part, which they recently installed. The system has been working perfectly ever since. What we're left wondering is why it took another company 45 minutes to immediately diagnose and correct (what seemed to them to be) a clear malfunctioning part in our Bosch inverter, when Superior HVAC and Tank Removal not only installed the system, but then also visited our property no fewer than 5 times (and we have been billed for 4/5 of those visits) and and failed to diagnose nor fix the correct issue? We do not wish to continue business with Superior HVAC and Tank Removal in the future given these experiences.

They were prompt, courteous, well priced, and exceptionally kind. We went with a tank replacement and I couldn't have been happier with the service. Fast forward to today. I was in the basement and noticed a small streak of oil down the side of the tank, which appeared to be coming from one of the pipes connected to the tank. I dropped a quick email to Crown Point. They responded immediately, had someone at the house within a few hours, and didn't charge me for the visit. To be 100% clear, the drip down the side of the tank was minor and was NOT because of their initial work but they covered it fully. Again - prompt, courteous, and top notch customer service. He installed my boiler (improperly - he continues to insist it was done correctly but 2 heating contractors have now told me the installation was not done correctly) and 2 years later it's costing me a ridiculous amount of money to fix. No one that works for him has any idea what they are doing. I was charged $200 per hour for the technician to sit on the phone in his van with tech support for over 2 hours! For all I know I was being charged $200 per hour for that guy to talk to his girlfriend! This company has no scruples so I wouldn't put it past them! Besides, I didn't realize customers now foot the bill for on the job training! If you have money to burn use this company but money will be the only thing burning if you do - it certainly won't be your boiler!
