Mexican Lentil Soup: This soup came in hot--both literally and flavor-wise. Imagine lentils with a master's degree in spicy sass and a minor in making you question every bland soup you've ever tolerated. It was hearty, zesty, and just the right amount of kick. " I briefly considered bottling it and using it as a cologne: Eau de Amy's Soup--smells like comfort and confidence. Pork Fajita Panini: First off, it's bold to turn a fajita into a panini. That's like asking a mariachi band to perform in an elevator--tight space, but big results. The pork was juicy, the bread was perfectly grilled, and each bite was like a well-choreographed salsa dance on my tongue.
