We recently had new windows installed as part of Energy One's marketing program. We have already been able to tell a difference in how well insulated the new windows are, as temperatures throughout the house are more consistent. Previously, it was noticeably colder when sitting next to the bay windows. That is no longer the case. In fact, during the installation we felt the inside panes of two windows next to each other, one being an original double-pane window that came with our house, and the other being a recently installed Energy One triple-pane window, and you could really feel the difference. We're looking forward to the lower energy bills we expect to have. The installation process went well, though it ended up taking longer than expected. The installers were at our house for a little more than four days. Part of the length was due to the large number of windows being replaced (we didn't realize we had over forty windows until an Energy One representative counted them for us!), and part of it was because some of the old windows were hard to remove due to some stucco work we had done in the past. Fortunately, the installers were experienced, made sure we were kept appraised of their progress, and didn't leave until we were satisfied with their work. The new windows have some nice features. Both panes slide, so that you can open a window either direction, and the panes can be easily removed - allowing for them to be cleaned without going outside. As owners of a two-story house, that is a feature we will really appreciate. They have a security feature to limit how far the window can be opened, so we can leave the window cracked open without worrying about someone sliding it open further to get into our house. They are also better sealed than our previous windows, which will hopefully lead to a reduction in the number of spiders and insects in our basement. We were also impressed with the lifetime warranty they have with each of the new windows. If a window breaks, for whatever reason, we just have to give Energy One a call and they will fix it for us at no cost. We've never actually had a broken window in our house, but it is nice knowing that we have one less thing to worry about. If you are considering getting new windows, we recommend including Energy One as one of the companies you seek a quote from. Also, when comparing prices, make sure that you factor in the rebates you can receive from Rocky Mountain Power and Questar Gas, as having a slightly better U-Factor rating on your new windows can make a big difference in the amount of money you will get back! read more

We just used Energy One to replace all the windows in our house. We are looking to be more energy efficient and decided this was a great place to start because our old windows were clearly failing. The seals were breaking and you could see condensation between the paynes. I was contacted by a door to door sales man for Energy One, and since we were already thinking about replacing some of the windows I wanted to hear what he had to say. He was very nice and not pushy. I invited him back to show my husband the quality of his window. A few days later he returned and my hubby and I were sold. A few men came a couple days later to measure all the windows. Within 2-3 months our windows were ready for install. We scheduled for a Thursday in April. On Wednesday the day before, a gentleman called and asked if we could reschedule due to a conflict. I agreed and he offered to compensate us (which we feel is a fair compensation) for the delay. Very honorable, as most companies now days don't care if they put you out, let a lone offer something. A day or two before the install I received a call to confirm the time. On install day the truck showed up just about 5-10 minutes early, which was fine. Several workers followed subsequently in their own vehicles. All the men were friendly and kept to themselves. They didn't seem to mind that I was busy cooking in the kitchen or had 4 small children running through my house. The install was very fast, they quoted me at 6-7hrs and were only here for about 4. My only concern with the speed was with a bit of a sloppy job done with caulking around the windows. I assume they just wanted to be our of our hair, and it is not a big deal because it is something my husband can take care of very easily. I have already noticed a more even temperature throughout my house, so I am very excited to see what time brings. Not to mention that they are beautiful windows with all the bells and whistles! read more

When we were first introduced to Energy One about these windows, we were excited about getting nice new windows that would look great, be easy to clean, and help us to reduce our energy bills. The installers came and installed the windows on Thursday, 3/10/2016, and it went very smoothly. They arrived a few minutes earlier than the appointed time, and got right to work taking out the old windows and putting in the 22 new windows. They finished in the afternoon. I was surprised by how quickly they finished and made them all look so nice. They answered all of our questions and cleaned up any remnants of the old windows, and even vacuumed up any dirt or dust that occurred during installation. We really like our new windows and are excited to see our energy bills decrease. We're excited that they're so easy to clean and open. Even the window wells in the basement are easier to access and clean out. The features of the windows are better than we expected: we can choose to open either the top pane or the bottom pane; the screen is movable depending on which pane we open; they open, close, and lock very easily; and the optional security tabs make it possible to leave the windows open over night or while we're not home and eliminate any concerns of someone getting in. This has been a great purchase for us. It's a great asset to our home, increasing our home's value and making us more energy efficient. We are very pleased with Energy One and their excellent service and follow-through, and we would recommend these windows to anyone looking for nicer, energy-efficient windows. read more

It began with a knock on the front door... We were skeptical because of the door to door approach and not being familiar with the company. However, we had been thinking about new windows for energy efficiency, appearance and functionality. So we agreed to a sales visit. Our concerns product quality, energy efficiency, installation process, product warranty and value. Troy answered all our questions and presented a price. After a few days of consideration, we decided to purchase the windows. Jake showed up with a crew of eight and finished the install on the same day. The crew was courteous, professional and left the house clean as promised. We were impressed when one of the installers noted something he didn't like about one sash. He sent in the manufacturers window identification data and a new sash was installed soon thereafter. Boden, visited on the day of install to ensure all was going to plan. I had a concern about the color of the caulk used that did not match the house color well. Boden did not hesitate to arrange for the caulk to be painted the same as the house which made for a satisfactory presentation. We have been living in our house for 25 years. The original windows, while decent, had done their time. Setting up as a 'Marketing Home', allowed us to get a very good price. ...We couldn't be happier. The installation team did a great job of removing the old windows and installing the new ones. We have some interesting challenges, since 2 of the large windows in the back are 18 feet off the ground! Another and bigger challenge was the huge window over the front door - it measures over 5 feet wide and close to 9 feet high (curved at the top). ...I checked other vendors and none of them had what I believed was the quality, product guaranty, or price to match Synergy Windows. My electric costs have dropped every month since the installation. I use to see my usage going up pretty much every month. To see it drop like it has confirms to me that I made the right decision. We just had Energy One replace all of the windows in our house along with our sliding glass door to our deck. The new windows look fantastic and are a huge upgrade from our original windows. We have a large window in our living room that faces west. With our old windows we could feel a lot of heat coming in during the summer and cold drafts in the winter. We can already tell that our new windows are much better sealed and only allow a small fraction of the heat the old ones did. We've also noticed that it's much quieter in our house with the new windows than before. The crew that Energy One uses was very efficient and professional. They completed their work in just one day. We are SO pleased with our new windows from EnergyOne. We have already seen a vast improvement in how little our furnace turns on, as well as the quality of the air inside our home. This was a big concern for us since some of the members of our family struggle with allergies/asthma. The other notable difference is the clarity of the light that comes through at all times of the day. I used to spend hours trying to clean my old windows only to realize that you can't clean a warped, old window. The subtle green tint that comes through is cooling and we look forward to enjoying having lots of light and very little heat during the high summer hours. The final thing we love about our new windows is that they've cut down greatly on the amount of bugs we are seeing in our house! Our basement used to be literally crawling with spiders, no matter how much cleaning we did or many repellents we used. Now we're lucky to see more than a few each month. I got my windows from Synergy Windows in March of 2015. I was their marketing home and they were amazing. They did everything they said they were going to do and much more. My daughters room was freezing cold in the winter time which is why we decided to look into windows and since we have had the windows installed her room stays room temperature. They took professional photos and I'm proud to say my home is now on their website in the gallery. I was worried and heard many terrible stories about home improvements in general but all my worries were put to sleep with this company. I strongly recommend them to anyone who wants a company that pays attention to details and truly cares about their customers. My review keeps getting placed in the unrecommended section, this is not fair so please guys look at all the reviews on this company not just the ones yelp deems correct. We just had windows installed by Energy One. The employees who came to install were hard workers and professional. They took care not to mar our hardwood floors and respected our property. The windows look fabulous! We already feel and hear the difference. Outdoor noise is minimal now. The rooms with windows on the south side feel cooler than they did with our old windows. We love the fact that we can open the windows from the bottom or top. I am looking forward to washing these windows on the outside as they easily pop out so I can clean them from inside the house. I won't have to pay someone to do my outside windows or brave a ladder to get them done. We love our windows and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality window. Pros: -The windows are beautiful. -The install crew was efficient and respectful. -Great quality. Cons: -We were told our windows would be installed within 8 weeks, but we had to call to find out where they were when ten weeks had gone by. It was about 11 weeks altogether (we had a lot of windows, this might explain it). -One window wasn't order, and another came cracked (again, out of 34 windows, I suppose this is bound to happen, and they've already reordered them to install later). -The install crew forgot to clean up a pile of garbage on my deck, which was mildly frustrating. Overall, I would recommend Energy One Windows. They did a great job, they were respectful in their communication, and the windows are great quality. Very happy with our decision. read more

We have loved our new windows! We have received a lot of compliments on them from our neighbors! And we can already tell the difference our new windows have made. They weren't cool to the touch when it was still cold outside and now that it is warm you don't feel the heat when you sit by them. They are so easy to open! It's nice that you can move the screen from top/bottom for added safety with little ones and have the top portion of the window open all while still having a screened window to keep bugs out! We can't wait to see how much money we will save. As for customer service, Energy One has been very responsive and helpful and made sure all our windows were satisfactorily installed. We were contacted by Bo Black who was going door to door introducing himself and Synergy Windows. We were impressed by his knowledge and the windows so was selling. We have lived in our home for 17 years and it was time to replace the aging windows. After seeing the windows and how they are built we were sold on the product. The triple pane windows have blocked out the neighbors barking dog and we can't wait to see the saving in energy. The ease of cleaning is amazing. The windows were just installed in Jan. 2017 with all 26 of our windows. It took the install guys three long and cold days to get them put in. The cost was a bit on the high end but you get what you pay for and I believe these will end up saving us money in the long run. read more

Energy One was great to work with and everything went smoothly. The installers showed up a bit early and got right to work. Taking out windows is messy. The installers cleaned up all of the pieces of the old windows and nails and other pieces of wood. They even vacuumed up under the windows. All the installers were polite and professional. My windows are so clean and look very nice. Our old windows had started to turn a bit yellow and looked old. My home looks so nice with these new windows. I love the tracks of the windows. They really aren't anything like the old tracks from windows. It is flat and so easy to clean. So far, we have been very happy with our windows and how they look and how easy they are to clean. read more

This week we had Energy One triple pane windows installed in our home. 3 kind efficient men came, on time and prepared, and worked steadily for 5 hours to remove old windows, then install 17 new windows on main floor and in basement. They managed well even though it rained on them. They cleaned up the debris afterwards, kept tarps down to avoid tracking dirt into my home, etc. I'm happy with how the windows look. When I touch the windows, they are much warmer than the old windows... definitely keeping out the cold air now. There was an immediate and noticeable difference in our home when installation of the new windows was completed. We could both feel a difference in temperature as well as tell the difference in the amount of sound that traveled in from the sidewalk and street. Installation was done on time and in a professional manner with employees that were willing to answer any questions about the windows. The follow up has been good as well in clearing up any further questions. We love the sliding door that replaced our french doors. We just had our windows replaced by Energy One. The windows immediately improved our use of energy by evening out the temperature throughout our 2 story home. We were able to lower our temperature and conserve energy. I am enjoying how much these beautiful windows have improved the style of our home. The low-e tint allows for privacy and the protection of our furniture and carpet. The outside noise has been considerably reduced making a big difference, especially at night when we sleep. These windows are amazing! The installers arrived on time and were super fast and efficient. We planned on it taking all day but they were done with the entire house (16 windows) in 4 hours! They were amazing to work with and cleaned everything up when they left. We haven't had the windows for even a week but when you stand next to them in the full sun you can't feel any heat coming thru the window at all! With small children we love that we can open them from the top to let some air in without worrying about little people pushing screens out (we have had that happen before with our old windows).I would recommend these windows to anyone! read more
