Tiffany has a rather specific skill set that she has perfected over the years. Not too many years but enough to gain the experience necessary to work out some very painful and stubborn knots. She asked how long it has been since I had a massage, asked how my last massage went and what I would have liked the masseuse to do have done differently. She also asked why I didn't go back and see the previous masseuse. I guess she wanted to know what she needed to do to get me to come back and see her and not go elsewhere. We had a nice little chat and then she began. Carefully gauging how she was doing by my reaction. All went well, much better than expected and Tiffany gets 5 stars. I have already returned 3X since my first visit - all to see Tiffany.

My neck and shoulders were KILLING me. I really needed someone to beat all my tension out of me…read moreand make my muscles and tendons behave. I asked a local women's Facebook group for suggestions and a few mentioned this place. I didn't want anything fancy - frankly, I'd just been to Peru and Turks and Caicos and had indulged in some wildly expensive (to me!) spa services, but I didn't need all that for this. They quoted me $60 for 60 minutes. DONE. I came out of there battered and bruised, but it was what I wanted and what I needed. Fast forward 36 hours and I'm feeling so much better - no more neck or shoulder pain. The massage started with kneeding over a thin blanket, then that was eventually removed. Nicely warmed oils were added to my body (no particular smell) and finally, hot stones were rubbed over my back. Sigh. A few comments: Language can be a barrier - speak slowly and clearly. Tell the ladies what you want and need them to focus on and how long you'd like timewise. If I hadn't spoken up, I think they would've just done whatever your standard massage was. The ambiance is pretty basic, but I got a private room with a heated pad to lie down on. No fancy smelly essential oils here. The background music was not annoying. Speak up if you want a little more or a little less pressure. The lady who was giving me a massage asked me several times, so I appreciated that she checked in. For those curious and need to know - take off as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

What I mean by that is this is not the Red Door Spa of the late 80s. However, the work that is done here is incredibly well done. They clearly make every attempt at ambience with spa music and keeping things mostly quiet or hushed, although I'm not going to deny that the rooms are "curtained" rooms (areas sectioned off by curtains). Nonetheless, there's perfect privacy within those. Can you hear other things happening around? Yes you can. But I have to tell you that that did not bother me one bit. If you're looking for some exclusive situation, they do apparently have private rooms. Whether or not they are soundproof, I cannot attest to. However, the work that was done while I was on that table was terrific! The woman who worked with me was Yo Yo and she was utterly fantastic. From the time that I arrived until I walked out the door--which Yo Yo opened and held open for me out of courtesy-- I was pampered. I was escorted to the back, given a robe/drape, given a few moments alone to undress from waist up as I was partaking in the 60 minute head spa. Yo-yo checked with me before coming back into the space and then assisted me (not that I really needed it) with getting on the table so that I was positioned correctly. She was gentle. She was smiling. She was quiet mostly, but did stop to ask questions (water temp, pressure of massage, etc.). She began her work, which started with a dry run through of the hair with various tools. If you've seen the videos on social media that keep popping up for head spa you have the general idea of what I mean when I say the tools that they use. I was there on that table for an hour. I had a mini facial. My head was massaged multiple times both dry and shampooed (twice). I had my neck massaged, my upper chest, my upper back and then all the way down my arms to my hands. It was wonderful. I have no complaints whatsoever. The products that were used were very light in their scent, but pleasant nonetheless and they were not greasy. The steam and whatever conditioner that is on my hair has made my hair so shiny and soft. I have processed hair. My hair has not been this soft since prior to bleaching/coloring. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. I expected sort of what I saw on the social media postings by various other "spas" and that's exactly what I got and more. Yo-yo met me out at the table where there was the hair dryer (and a snack and bottle of water) and blew out my hair a little bit. Was it styled? No. That's not what she's there to do. I walked out with dry hair. I don't have a problem with that. I kept a hat in the car and a clip to put it in an updo if it didn't look manageable. It looked fine. I was 100% satisfied. I hope that if you're reading this review, you have the same type of experience. I thought it was worth every penny and I will be going back again.

My coworkers had gifted my wife and me a couples massage, which already made it feel special. When we got there, my wife and I were placed in separate rooms. I didn't mind that--I figured, okay, her time is her time and my time is mine. When the service started and she began working on my hair, I felt genuinely happy and relaxed... until she received a phone call. I understand completely that running a business comes with calls, but answering them in the middle of a service--with wet hair and gloves on--broke the experience. I stayed quiet and kept to myself, trying to enjoy what time I had left. Then another client finished their session and excitedly expressed how amazing it was--no issue there, I was happy for them. But the loud conversations continued in the same space where people were actively receiving massages. It felt disruptive. The staff assisting that client could have easily stepped aside to continue talking elsewhere. At that point, I was already struggling to relax. Then it happened again--another phone call. Gloves off, more time lost. I honestly thought she would make up for the interruption, but once the timer ended, she simply said she was done. I left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied. What was meant to be a relaxing, thoughtful gift turned into an experience that felt rushed and unprofessional.

The private massage rooms were behind closed doors and very clean and comfortable, I disrobed myself fully and laid on the table and the lady came a little bit later and asked if I wanted a soft or medium massage. I told her medium due to having a sore back and it really needed work, but I laid there and was thinking she mostly touched the glutes more then anything but I liked the massage and enjoyed the time.
