Yes. She was super friendly!!! She asked me if I was okay throughout the massage. Ameelah was nice. It's my birthday so I needed a good experience. read more

I walked out during my Collagen Facial because the experience was terrible. She never once examined my skin under a light, scrubbed and rubbed my face so aggressively that she scratched me several times with her nails, and used no mask or skincare products besides lotion. My face was beet red afterward from the excessive rubbing. I still paid for the full hour, and then they asked for another $7.87 in tax. I told them they had already received more than their fair share. This was not a Collagen Facial--it was an overly aggressive face massage with lotion. Completely unacceptable and a waste of money. read more

I wanted to give this business a second chance before leaving a review, but unfortunately I've now had the same issue twice. On my first visit, while I was pregnant, I booked a scalp massage. Instead, I received what seemed to be a pregnancy back massage. I tried to explain to the therapist that it wasn't the service I had booked, but there was a significant language barrier and she didn't seem to understand. The receptionist apologized afterward and encouraged me to come back, assuring me that next time I would receive the treatment I had actually booked. The massage was still pleasant overall, so I paid, tipped, and decided to give them another chance. On my second visit, I booked a 90-minute Lomi Lomi massage and a 30-minute scalp massage. From the beginning, there seemed to be confusion about my booking. The therapist only referred to the 90-minute massage, and I had to repeatedly show her my booking confirmation to explain that I had also booked the scalp massage. I specifically chose Lomi Lomi because I prefer a gentler, flowing style of massage and do not enjoy very deep tissue work. However, the therapist immediately began using very deep pressure, particularly on my back. I repeatedly asked her to go softer and asked whether this was the Lomi Lomi massage I had booked, but it became clear that she did not understand what I was saying. While some parts of the massage, particularly my arms and legs, were enjoyable, the work on my back was quite painful and not what I had requested. At the end of the session, the scalp massage I had booked was not provided at all. When I raised this with staff afterward, another employee attempted to translate, but the response was essentially an apology followed by being ushered out the door. The therapist repeatedly said sorry and was friendly, but there was no real attempt to address the issue or offer a solution. What makes this particularly disappointing is that this has happened on both of my visits. The staff are polite and the massages themselves are not terrible, which is why I have continued to pay and tip. However, when customers are paying for specific treatments, they should receive the services they booked. The ongoing communication issues and repeated failure to provide the booked treatments make it difficult for me to recommend this business. read more

Good massage.... I guess. But I was overcharged by $20. I called and the lady starts arguing with me, telling me thats the tax and credit card fee. $100 couples massage with tax and fee is not $150 LOL. Sleazy, scam artists type of establishment. Wouldn't go again, and wouldn't wish this type of dishonesty even on my worst enemy... read more

Great massage, well priced, and friendly staff. Definitely will be back for another massage!

The massage itself was great--I had a couples massage for under $100 using a Groupon, which was a good deal. Just a heads-up: they don't mention until the end that you'll need to pay tax upon arrival (about $7). The space is very clean, and the staff are friendly. One thing I would have preferred is some calming music or sounds during the massage, as it was completely silent. Overall, a good experience with a few small areas for improvement read more

FORCED TIP This was $50 an hour which isn't too bad. The Groupon states an hour is $99 but they discount it to $47 for an hour. Basically the Groupon doesn't really give you a discount. It's just an illusion. I came in and I wasn't greeted at all. I flagged down a Asian guy and he said he will check me in. Told me to sit down and then said my Groupon is only good for the first time and that was it. Totally fine and then he said I had to pay another $4.13 on the Groupon for tax. Sort of weird but okay fine. What really got me was when he asked if I wanted to tip right now and I said okay, then as I was punching in the tip, he swiped my finger away as I was typing the tip in and said "No, you need to pay more for tip since $10 is standard." I was quite appalled since tip is usually earned and I do tip based on the service I receive. They ended up punching in the tip and then signed it for me and at that point I was disgusted with the Asian guy. He then asked if I was a man or a woman. I said I was a woman and then he told me to go into a room. I got the massage and she was pretty good. She spoke mandarin only and I was able to sort of converse with her. After the massage, I felt the same so it didn't really do much for me. She was nice though. Would I come back? Heck no. Who rudely swipes my finger and tipped themselves on their own behalf?! Avoid this place at all costs. You're not saving anything with Groupon. read more

Didn't hear back and have the credit card charges. $66.13 & a separate charge of $62.83was charged on February 3, then on February 7 two charges $76.93 and $44.29. No one replied. Again I can't stress enough. STAY AWAY From this place. read more

I would avoid this place. As other reviews note, their pricing practices are sketchy. Several people mention being charged tips or having prices changed without consent. I didn't get that far, but based on my experience, I believe it would have happened if I'd gone through with the transaction. I called ahead to confirm the price and was told they'd honor the Groupon rate. When I arrived, they added $5 for "tax" - fine - but then tried to raise it again when I said I'd pay by card (not a surcharge, but by increasing the base rate another $5). They pointed to a fake printed "terms and conditions" they claimed was on the Groupon site about extra tax fees, which I later confirmed doesn't exist on the Groupon site. The woman was extremely rude and dismissive, and when I said I'd just buy the Groupon to avoid confusion, she snapped, "Fine, buy the Groupon and come back," and walked out the front door, leaving me alone in the shop. read more

Not a good experience. Used a Groupon and was made to pay tax to the merchant for services even though that's against Groupons terms and conditions. The massage at best can be described as a long rub down. Not sure they know what they're doing or are licensed masseuses. Poor communication and would not let you translate anything back to their language. Would not let you choose type of massage. Did not ask about glutes just went ahead and pull down underwear. Family may or may not also be living in the office. Massage sheets very very thin. read more

Should have went to Yelp instead of Groupon. Was unable to schedule over the phone for weeks and went for a walk-in instead. During my session, the door was opened and left open despite me being exposed. Towards the end of the massage, she transitioned to my legs. My right leg was completed without issue but the back of my left leg was left throbbing. I am now 5 days from my massage and I still am unable to walk without pain. I would strongly discourage getting a massage from this location for your safety. read more

This massage parlor was surprisingly easy to find, despite what some previous reviews on Google and Yelp had mentioned. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and since it was just my partner and me there at the time, everything moved quickly. I booked through Groupon, and we were informed of a $7.99 tax fee to be paid upfront, which I didn't mind. The rooms appeared clean and well-maintained, and the massage itself was quite good. The pressure was right in the middle--not too light, not too intense--which is often hard to find, so I really appreciated that. The only downside, and the reason for not giving a higher rating, was that the door to our room was left open for the first half of the massage. We could clearly hear people walking by, chatting, and even saw other staff peek in to speak with our masseuses. Both my partner and I felt a little uncomfortable and distracted by this lack of privacy. Once we turned around mid-session, the door was closed, but by then it was hard to fully relax. Overall, it was a decent experience and had the potential to be excellent with just a bit more attention to client comfort and privacy. read more

Horrible, Horrible,Horrible experience. Had a Confirmed appointment at 4pm 2/15/25 and when we arrived for our couple massage we were informed they did not have us in the book but would squeeze us in. We were brought upstairs and asked to be seated. Owner/Manager came up and asked if we could wait until 4:30 which we agreed to do. At 4:35 we are still sitting there waiting. Went downstairs to complain and all of a sudden, English was a Foreign Language. We walked out and will not return. As a Licensed Professional, I will not Recommend this place to ANYONE REGARDLESS OF THEIR STAR RATINGS. read more

Great massage, comfortable clean room, open and easy scheduling by phone. I will definitely be going back.

I've been here 3 times now for a couples massage. The massage was good each time. The first time I had a similar experience as another person where we were moved upstairs to wait then back down and didnt start until a half hour after my appointment. The past 2 times have been excellent. An hour couples massage for $100 is an amazing deal and I don't agree with these people calling it a scam. read more

Very calming atmosphere. They took their time and I fell asleep I was so relaxed. I'm looking forward to coming back

I called the establishment and made an appointment for Saturday, March 1,2025. I received confirmation text message. I arrived at 3:15 pm for my 3:30 pm appointment. I was told that they could not see me until 4pm. I was sat in a dark upstairs room in a hall way. After an hour I asked if there was an issue and no one spoke English. I had several google translate conversations with staff and the continued to tell me to wait. Several white clients walked in after me and were attended to right away. Even walk ins! There was another African American woman in the lobby when I came down to the main desk also told to wait she left. I left after yet again being placed in a room by someone who spoke no English. We could not communicate at all. I then received text messages telling me to come back. At this point I had waisted two hours for a one hour massage! Groupon is now refusing to refund me the cost of the service which is unfair. read more

they don't even deserve a quarter of one star .This place is absolutely terrible. I had purchased a Groupon. The place was literally nowhere to be found. I drove around the plaza for 10 minutes. They deserve to be shut down or I want my money back as soon as possible. read more

I have been going to this spot for two years, after trying a variety of different places from private to franchise. I will never go anywhere else. My first visit with was with a Groupon for $50 for one hour. First of all, you can't beat that price. Second of all the massage was the best I ever had. After that I started doing a membership which ends up turning out to be $45 a massage. The women are highly skillful and trained. Some of the therapist's speak English and some do not. But they will try to communicate with you about your wants and needs and they do strive to give you exactly what you want. I get a massage about every three weeks and let me tell you they are amazing. The owner, MING, is a very hard worker and strives to make her customers happy. The thing I like most about this place is that I can schedule an appointment seven days a week anytime of day. A lot of places are closed on the weekends or Monday. That doesn't work for me. Also, being a female, I've been to some creepy places with creepy male masseuse's so I like that it is female owned and operated. I am really happy with this place. It's the best for the price. Nothing fancy... no bells and whistles. Just a great, relaxing, massage. If you have been looking around for a good spot, this is it. No pushy sales people. Lots of different therapists and they're all great at what they do. Give it a try for 50 bucks on Groupon. What do you have to lose? read more

My husband and I have been here several times for massages. Min is so sweet and makes sure that you are comfortable and happy. My husband gave me a foot massage for my birthday and I can't say enough good things about the massage. My feet were washed in warm water and then blissfully massaged I fell into a light slumber. After, my legs and feet were stretched and my whole body felt refreshed. We keep coming back and back. read more

I purchased a groupon here for my sister and I--we did the couples massage. I saw the yelp reviews after I placed the order and I have to admit, I was pretty nervous! However, the massage was one of the best massages my sister and I have had in a long time. I work overnights and I carry a lot of my stress in my upper back. The massage therapist worked diligently to relieve the tension I had throughout my entire body, but focused on my upper back for a long time. They didn't rush us--in fact, every time I thought the massage was over, she put me in a new position or started a new process. The place where you sign in is...interesting, kind of looks like an office building. But when you can provide an exceptional service like the one my sister and I received, it's easy to look past the environment. Besides, the actual massage occurred in a separate room (which I was grateful for, given the reviews I read lmao). You can absolutely tell that these women take their license seriously, it shows in their touch. I felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. Although my massage was like 3 days ago, my back still feels pain free--even after 2 back-to-back shifts. As much as I'd like to keep this place to myself, I have to give this business their props. (especially if you're coming here from the groupon and seeing the reviews has you a little nervous!!) ALSO, for my pet lovers, there's a lovely pet store right next door to visit right after your massage, & they have so much stuff. Immaculate date idea. read more

3.5 really, but I'm feeling generous. Please read this knowing that as far as bang for buck, this was fine, but do not expect luxury or special amenities. I had a Groupon and scored a 60-minute massage here for $39. Just for comparison, their outdoor signage offers a $45 massage for those who join a monthly plan and their regularly published rates vary between $70-$80 for an hour long Swedish / hot stone massage. It's a very basic, no-frills place, so you won't get the little touches that can make a massage a splurge experience. The massage itself was pretty good. The first few minutes was no skin contact kneading (only over a blanket), which heated up your muscles and loosened your body for the oiled part of the massage. The massage was timed exactly for 60 minutes and they did just that. It must have worked for relaxing me, I caught myself snoring away towards the end. If you use a Groupon, remember you'll have to pay additionally for sales tax and a gratuity is separate. Arrive a few minutes early to get the paperwork started. * The massage therapist's English was hard to understand, though she was very sweet and very nice. * She did not knock before coming back in - fortunately, I was already undressed and under the sheet when she returned. * The owner is lovely. When I admired her beautiful spider plants, I asked if I could have some of the offshoots to root myself. Instead, she gave me the whole plant! When I tried to give her a little something for it, she refused. That was such a nice gift. read more

HIDDEN GEM. Shhhh.... don't tell. I took my husband for a couples massage for his birthday this past weekend. 2.6.21. We get massage often and have tried many places. We think we had a mother - daughter team, but since the speak very little english we were not sure. SO GOOD. They were SO GOOD. Unbelievable. Each masseuse actually got up on each of the (massage) tables on her knees to do the massage. Were hot stones involved ? Yes they were! In addition to your body, these girls know how to handle hot stones! The stones were used at the end of the procedure and they were absolutely delightful. Additionally, when you used their questionaire and circled the areas you needed them to work on ....... they listened. Amazing! The entire experience was really nice. We left feeling great! FYI looks deceive. They are in a plain jane office building in a very pedestrian space. We will definitely return! read more

I had to walk out of my couples massage. I kept trying to tell the woman that it wasn't good but there was a language barrier. My girlfriend and I booked a couples massage, and while the massage itself was pretty good, there are several aspects of this spa that make it the worst experience I've had. Firstly, the woman doing my massage left the room for minutes at a time to talk to some man who was there. I found out later that the person massaging my girlfriend took her panties all the way off below her butt and left them off the whole time, then massaged and moved her butt with the panties off. She said she felt molested. She noticed the door was open when the other person was talking to that man, so she was just on display, naked, for whoever that was. We get home, she takes her clothes off, and finds that on top of all this she has a rash on both her legs. read more

A man gave me my "massage" felt like he was scared to actually give me a good massage and he needs more training it was coming across like he didn't know what he was doing...after the massage I had a $20 bill that I asked him to break for me so I could leave him $5 tip even tho I didn't care for the massage...can you believe this man gives me back $10 refuses to give me $15. I was in complete shock he held my money hostage that I just left. I am still in disbelief. I didn't have to leave a tip in GENERAL. The fact that you refused to give me back my change is disgusting. THEY DO NOT GIVE AF ABOUT YOU OR YOUR NEEDS. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A LEGIT SPA. I've been here to this space 2-3 times before. I was nervous about the shadiness of the location but was in desperate need of a massage so I tried it. I wanted to return again this weekend with a friend. On the day of my appointment I was totally out of it not feeling well and lost track of time. The spa called me about an hour or so before to confirm. I informed them I needed to cancel based on not feeling well. The person on the phone attempted to YELL in my ears "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER? My other clients cancelled too! Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you tell me?" and then hung up on me. When I called back they did not answer. I replied back via text stating that was totally unprofessional and they blocked me. They previously had texted about the pricing, etc. Setting: office space with thin walls above an insurance company - in another review the owners attempt to deny this but it is in fact 100% true. read more

Not professional---it's an office space with some dividers and I couldn't find a masseuse license posted for anyone who was there

Clearly the owner of Hot Stone Spa doesn't want to share money with Groupon. She only wants to use Groupon to advertise her business. As soon as I call them to make appointment, she told me to cancel my Groupon order and I would pay for the same price in store. I did not want to bother so I used Groupon anyway. The nightmare starts from there. As soon as you walk in the store, she needed me to pay for the tax in cash right away, because I paid to Groupon not her, so she wanted me to pay her tax again. Then she told me not matter how many Groupon I bought I am only allowed to use it once. Then she asked me how much tip I would give before massage session!! I told her it would be 20% of my groupon price. She told me I need to tip 20% as the original price, not even the price she has in store, she just made out a price out of her menu. You even cannot see that number anywhere. Then me and my husband were arranged to a lobby massage bed. Exactly in the lobby, two massage beds only separated from the rest of lobby by dozen room dividers. It feels like we lie down on street naked. Because, people walked around, talked right next to us when we got ready and during session. Also, I made appointment at 12 o'clock, I couldn't get it start until 12:20pm. The owner kept coming in and out, tried to talk to me with some very personal question. Finally when the massage starts, because they are short on people, so the owner did mine. And she has no idea how to do massage. The only thing she did is using elbow to punch my back. Moreover, she was sick so she coughed on me during the session. She was out to welcome new coming customers during my session 3 times. 3 times. I paid the whole hour! After it done, me and my husband run out of the store, it was terrible experience. Either of us felt relaxed, only annoying and angry. I did tip 20% as the price showed in store because I dont want to be stupid. The customer service is horrible with them people and I haven't even met them in person. I had a death in my family and had to reschedule, then I communicated with them I may have to cancel the next day but never received a response. I then texted them the morning of to confirm the appointment and no response. I called them and they picked up 2xs and hung up. I then called from my daughter phone and they answered immediately. The thing that is the most unprofessional to me is, the lack of communicative responses and the hanging up on me. Just say you would prefer not to take me as a client rather than ignore me. I was intentional in my communication with them but did not receive the same consideration. Oh well there are numerous Spa's around my tri-state area. I came at the exact time I was told to come I waited for 10 minutes until they even brought us back to the room. This massage was very very painful and was not done properly I corrected them many times and they still didn't do anything about it and continued to hurt me and my mom. we were in so much pain and it was horrible my my mom who already has bad pains over all. We told them at the end of the massage it was horrible and we would not be paying for this service we left and every month after they tried taking money each month after we tried disputing it with the bank they couldn't do anything. we called many times and they blocked every number. usually this would not be a big deal but it was 130$ and left bruises and marks all over our bodies. every number we called from got blocked and when we said that this will not work the mute themselves until we hang up. We are still trying to get the money back. I would tell everyone to not go here because you will leave with bruises. To add on they also force a tip and tell you to give more money even though they hurt and bruise you. you mind as well just go fall down the steps a few times for free then go here because they feel the exact same and you do not get forced to pay or tip for bad service by the stairs. so I would never go here again or would never tell people to go here! read more
