I have been going to this location for a long time but never left a review and I think it's about time because they deserve it. There are a lot of spas now in Cherry Hill. I have tried many of them and most are just lousy. New Rose Spa is always fantastic. I have chronic aches and pains and the managers are always helpful and communicate to staff clearly what areas need to be focused on. I gave this spa a try based on other Yelper's recommendations and, hoo boy!, I was not disappointed. Allow me to introduce myself: I am a walking ball of stress responsible for a non-profit and 3 energy siphons some people call my children. So needless to say, massaging me is like trying to tenderize a side of beef...it's not happening. Except that it did with Tina. I couldn't help but giggle when Tina felt my back muscles and simply said, "It's hard" which I translated to mean, "Holy mother of dragons what have I gotten myself into?" Surprisingly, Tina is really strong so I had no issues with the massage pressure and before I knew it I was literal putty in her hands. So much so that when she asked if I wanted to add on a 30 minute foot massage, I just mumbled, "br%#bejdue". Now mind you I am not a footsy gal and generally shy away from close encounters of the feet kind. But after my soul circumvented the sun, moon, and stars and plummeted back to earth into this meat sack that is my body, I was glad I spent the extra 30 bucks. If you're not there exactly on the minute they canceled your appointment, it's a very bad parking situation on an angle a very small parking area and quite dangerous and I couldn't find parking and I was five minutes into looking for the parking after driving an hour and then spending another hour prior to that go and get in cash at the bank and I got there at 12:34 PM and I was parking my car and they called me and they said am I there yet? I said I'm looking for a parking spot and they said well it's too late now it's it's 1240 and it was only 1235. We're too busy and they canceled my appointment after I spent at least 2 to 3 hours preparing my day for this visit so I will never go back here again so anybody who goes just don't ever be late to cancel you, you could drive an hour there or two hours there or whatever if you're one minute late they'll cancel you and you won't get your appointment so they sent me away, I will never go there ever again read more

This is a little overdue. I had visited here for the first time several weeks ago to start up my self-care goals. I put some time in researching because I really wanted to avoid some shady place. So I found place this thanks to Yelp and it was a great find. I asked for a deep tissue massage and it was perfect. The place was clean and the people working there were nice and professional. The price is really good too and I'll be definitely coming back here. Just one tip, map out the place before you go and notice where the street is before this little shopping strip. If you park in the front, it's pretty tricky to back out onto route 70 as the parking area is really narrow. So you might want to park on one of the side streets instead. read more

I was going to refrain from posting a review because today was my first experience at New Rose Spa and I don't want to ruin business for them during these tough times. However, after mulling over what happened for a few hours, I decided that I need to share my story. My calves/feet have been killing me from all of the outdoor running I've been doing due to COVID. I read great reviews on Yelp about New Rose Spa and decided to make an appointment for 90 min. of reflexology. The women were friendly and welcoming. They brought me to the back where the man who was performing the reflexology was waiting. The first 30 minutes were fine. I had my eyes closed and was trying to relax. I heard the man breathing heavily, so I slightly opened my eyes and saw him wipe is hand on his nose then continue to rub my foot with that hand (his mask was pulled down exposing his nose). I was disgusted and asked him to put his mask on properly. At that point I felt uncomfortable, but let the reflexology continue. A few minutes later I felt that the man had slowly stopped massaging. He was almost lightly touching/gripping my toes, it felt very strange. I opened my eyes again to find him SLEEPING. At this point I pulled my feet away and asked him to get the women workers, who I earlier saw go in the back room. Those women then brought an older woman (possibly the owner?) to me and I had to awkwardly explain everything to them that had happened as the man was still standing there. I felt extremely uncomfortable and couldn't wait to get my sneakers on and out of there. I offered to pay for the 30-40 min of "service" that I received, but they declined. I left feeling dirty and totally uncomfortable with what had just taken place. The women were apologetic and called me after. I declined the call and rushed home to disinfect myself. I hope that this man was reprimanded for putting my health and safety in jeopardy and for being extremely unprofessional while providing a service to a customer. read more

Another great massage from the friendly and experienced masseuses at New Rose Spa! We got a couples massage, deep tissue 60 minutes for $120. A male performed skillful bodywork on me and a female on my hubs. I say bodywork because the massage was exactly what my body needed. His focus was on all of the tension and knots that bother me day in and day out. He knew exactly what needed more work and his focus was on releasing the stubborn knots in my shoulders neck and back. My husband said his was really good also. We workout almost everyday and sit mostly all day for work so the right amount of pressure and knowledge was very much appreciated. We LOVED our hot rock couples massages here! They were so good! So, so good! The price was just right also! They not only matched Groupon prices for us, but they also honored $10 off $100 for Yelp check-in on top of that discounted price. Really, it couldn't be beat for the quality of massage. I love the fact that they are not open on Monday, which is so rare for a salon, but that they can take also same day reservations! This is super convenient and much appreciated by this busy mama! The masseuses were kind and asked about pressure. They used just the right amount of strength for both my husband and myself. He had a women and me a man. (I'm so sorry I didn't get their names!) The male who I had used his entire body for some muscles and definitely got the knots in my neck out from the 6 flights I had been on recently. OY! His touch was firm and confident, and I enjoyed the warm oils and certainly those super hot rocks. Yaaaaasssss!! My husband's masseuse kept in mind the marathon he had literally just finished and paid special attention to his legs and ailing IT band. We were both super pleased with our services and can't wait to return! The only negative for me was the alarm at the end of the session. I wasn't sure what their gratitude policy is, so I took out cash for the massage and then asked if they took tips. When she said yes, I said I'll take out some extra money for the tip and she gave me a little attitude as she expected that I already took enough out for the massage and the tip.
