I requested a quote on Yelp for bike assembly knowing this was not part of the business' core services but the company was local and I figured it was worth a shot. The owner Shawn got back to me within 15 mins (more impressive since it was after hours) with an estimate and scheduled time to assemble my bike the following day. My family and I had a wonderful time at Synaptic Cycles. I called and scheduled a rental time for my family. We chose the all day rental plan. Everything was super easy and really clear to understand. When we arrived, I was a little nervous for my wife and daughters, but Shawn was super cool and helpful explaining everything. Picked up an ordered bike that he built for me, it's damaged, missing accessories and I was horribly mistreated. I wanted to see if I needed to purchase an adapter for my kid cart, so I folded it and brought it with me. Shawn the owner, ASSumed that I wanted it built, I said no, I just folded it to bring it here, I want to make sure it connects to my new bike, buy an adapter if needed. I also wanted to buy another bike, get brakes and service for another bike, he was so rude to me, after I said I'll just pick it up after the the accessories come in, he said "No, you're gonna take it now". He was moving! This is why he was so rude. He then continued to say all of the things that he wouldn't do for me, including help me load it in my car! I'm a senior, can you imagine!? I workout and so does my kid, so we can do just about anything, but to be that way to a customer is just disgusting. I feel sorry for his wife if he has one, and his employees. And his customers!
