Kevin was very communicative throughout the whole process and super helpful taking the time to answer all of my questions. Coming into the situation I was clueless and stressed after breaking down, and it was heartwarming to find a business with people that were honest and helpful explaining things, and incredibly kind. Great people, great service, wish I could give 10 stars!

He is even assisting me with getting my car sold and transported safely to the buyer. He is going above and beyond, and I truly appreciate his willingness to hear my concerns and frustrations about the initial lack of transparency and respond in a way that makes sense for everyone I brought my Honda (100k miles) here for a water pump failure. I was quoted $1,800-1,900 to replace the pump, tensioner, and belt, and was told in writing: "This work comes with a three year 36 thousand nationwide warranty. Car is in good shape otherwise." Based on their assessment that the car was "in good shape otherwise" and knowing Hondas are reliable vehicles, my husband and I decided to proceed with this significant repair. After agreeing to the cost and completing the water pump repair, we were then informed the engine is misfiring and is not repairable - essentially requiring a full engine replacement. My concerns: We were never informed of potential engine issues before authorizing the $1,800+ repair We were explicitly told the car was "in good shape otherwise" A misfiring engine should have been detected during the initial diagnostic, especially before recommending we invest nearly $2,000 in repairs We are now stuck with a car that needs an engine replacement after just paying for major repairs Had we known about the engine condition upfront, we would have made a completely different decision rather than putting $1,800+ into a car that would shortly need an engine replacement. This feels like a failure in diagnostic process and transparency. When a shop misses critical issues like this, I believe they should take some responsibility rather than leaving the customer holding the bag. I now have to purchase a different vehicle and feel the money spent on the water pump repair was wasted

L A Auto Car Sales & Auto Repair

These past few weeks when I have been struggling to use my car with two broken external handles, I…read moreWISHED I had the mechanical skills to fix my car. Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!

I had a warranty-covered repair and couldn't be more pleased! Jason was my friendly, attentive Service Manager. Last week, I was able to get a same-day appointment for diagnosis through the Hyundai app. The part was ordered. I was late to drop off my car in the morning for service. But they still were able to help me. They had me in and out in under 3 hours. Could not be more impressed. Definitely will bring my car back here again and will consider shopping in the future when it's time to trade up in a couple years.

The service team is friendly, but appointments are pointless--expect at least 90 minutes for a simple oil change, despite a nice waiting area. I have also done surveys online and telephone about the management and staff and it seems to get worse over the last two years. Issue lies with management as staff seem to want to do right but seem driven by fear of management. Now to a current sales process. Ugh! Painful. I found a Palisade online, filled out the form, and got a call from someone barely intelligible, so I hung up. Two days later, a clearer voice convinced me to visit. I arrived early, eager, but was shuffled between staff, only to end up with the same hard-to-understand salesperson. After re-explaining everything, their appraisal was insultingly low, so I walked away. Better staff coordination and communication could've saved the deal
