Where do I begin, Cinco Tire and Automotive is amazing for so many reasons I couldn't list them in…read morethis review but I would like to share my initial experience. Outlining the knowledge and experience this shop processes. First and foremost the customer service I receive from Tony and the entire staff at Cinco Tire and Automotive each time I return is exemplary. My first experience with this shop started from word of mouth by an automotive technician who mentioned rates and services performed at Cinco Tire on many occasions to me at my job. Eventually I reached out to them for help and they were right there for me. I originally thought I had a stuck thermostat but they quickly discovered my problem. Not only was Tony able to work a fantastic price, but I could sense he really cared about my circumstances; going above and beyond with service and leading me the right way on repairing my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which unknown to me at the time had a blown head gasket due to a manufacture defect in the casting of my engine block which had broken away from one of the through bolts holding the driver-side portion of my head gasket. Through intensive diagnostics and experienced technicians they found the flaw in a very short time and rushed for my parts and Tony even planed a rental car for me and my daughters school function. They also had my vehicle towed to specialists on a flatbed truck that could correct the bolt issue by means of a coil insert to the faulty casting. After the completion of this in depth repair Tony recommended I file a claim with Chrysler I did have a current extended warranty and eventually had Jeep Chrysler reimburse me for all charges and fees But it doesn't stop there, this shop is a FULL service shop with skilled techs that perform everything I could ask for including regular maintenance like a synthetic oil change .I feel rest assured it's performed correctly and they beat anyone's price in Katy, TX and always honor coupons by Goodyear and their own as well. Cinco Tire and Automotive has made a believer out of me that not all garages are alike. And I will remain a loyal customer for life with Cinco Tire and Automotive.

These past few weeks when I have been struggling to use my car with two broken external handles, I…read moreWISHED I had the mechanical skills to fix my car. Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!

This is a long review but very much deserved. As a long-time customer who brings all types of…read morevehicles here -- from my domestic For Mustang, to our imports (VW, Subaru, Mini and Toyato) to my collector's cars (69 Mach1 and my 79 TA), as well as my kids' cars -- I have never experienced a more professional, courteous, and cost-effective repair shop and a really do mean this as I don't generally recommend places but these guys I do. The team at The Car Scientist has always taken the time to provide a straightforward assessment of whether a repair is worth pursuing or not. I appreciate their honesty when they explain that both repairs and parts may take time due to workloads at the time and the rising prices of parts from the dealerships. For someone like me, who is a car guy and enjoys tinkering on my cars , but doesn't always have the time due to my own time-crunches, their pricing has always been reasonable and worth every penny -- saving me the time and sometime the pain of working on my daughters Mini Cooper S myself. That said, I have never had to return for a recheck, which speaks volumes about the quality and reliability of their work. Sure, I have paid for diagnostic fees as my OBDSII reader doesn't always pick up all the codes, but, I have paid the dealership fees to read a code for me, so, this to me is standard in the industry and ensure a thorough examination -- they have always been transparent about these charges. I am a consultant, and I charge for my information as well, assume if I owned a shop I would charge for the code reading as well, so be aware of this. For me, I'd rather pay for quality diagnostics once than face hidden problems later. Unlike other places where I've was given a low initial price but ended up paying much more in follow-ups and pissed that I could have done it myself, here, they fix it right the first time as I said before. I've read some reviews mentioning concerns about pricing or wait times, and I think it's crucial to remember that quality work takes time, especially when parts need to be ordered or a repair isn't straightforward. They never rush their work, which is why I've never had an issue with any repair they've done. I personally ask the question first and decide whether I can wait or not. In my experience, The Car Scientist truly understands the long-term value of a satisfied customer. I have always felt they have my best interests at heart, offering me advice that is both honest and fair and at times free. It's unfortunate that some haven't had the same experience, but for me, I wouldn't trust my cars with anyone else. Thanks for the help on the F-RS it saved me over $1,000.00 Five stars, every time!"

Dropped my car off here two weeks after the diagnosis to get serviced for the engine valve cover…read morereplacement ...red was having to pay upfront before he started the repairs so he could order the part. This is the first body shop that I've ever known where you have to pay for the service upfront before the service is even started and completed. Received my car back within two days after dropping it off. I immediately noticed on the drive home that my car still smelled like burnt oil, which is what happens when you need an engine valve replacement cover. The screaming piping noise was gone. But leaking oil was still there. I also noticed my front left rim was scuffed. After driving it home and parking in my garage my car started to leak an oily substance coming directly from the engine valve. I called Mr. Keith and told him that I am smelling the same burnt oil smell coming from my car prior to the repairs. He told me to bring it up there and he will take a look at it. Not sure what he did but after the first initial visit there, I was back up there a week later. Mr Keith claimed that it was from the old oil that had leaked on other parts of my car stemming from the original issue so Mr. Keith tried to clean up the oil as much as he could drove my car back home same thing I could still smell the oil burning from my car oil was still leaking and there was smoke coming from my car called Mr. Keith. He told me to drive it for a week then bring it back if the problem persist... brought my car back a third time only this time he told me he wanted to keep it overnight. When I receive my car back, he told me to drive it for another week and if the problem persist to bring it back again . I did notice that there was a pleasant smell coming from my car however, once I parked in my garage, I noticed the burnt oil smell again mixed in with the cleaning products that he had used to clean the oil off my car and smoke coming from the engine. The last time I took my car to be serviced. I had to rent a car. I told myself I am not taking my vehicle up there for a fourth time only for the same problem to return. I would just take it to BMW and get it looked at there because I am sick and tired of going back-and-forth to this body shop and nothing is getting done. So today two weeks after my last service with this body shop, I take my car to get serviced at BMW. They do their diagnostic and they find that the valve cover gasket was improperly installed causing it to re leak. Valve cover assembly was now needed again, which is why there is oil spilling over from the existing repair. Pretty much in a nutshell. BMW told me that Mr. Keith did a half ass job on my repair. One trip to car scientist is all it should have taken. It should not have taken an almost 4th time for you to right your wrong Mr. Keith and you are dead wrong. I asked you for some sort of compensation and you couldn't even give me at least half of the money I paid you to fix my vehicle since you did a half ass job on my car! Shame on you! I would never recommend bringing my vehicle here. I will just pay the extra eight hundred a thousand dollars to get my car fixed whatever it takes at least I know it will get done right at BMW. This whole ordeal has caused me to have to pay for the same issue twice because the issue in the beginning was never correctly fixed. I have attached pictures to my review to show proof that this is just not a made up review. This actually happened to me and I hope and pray that it does not become your nightmare. Do yourself a favor if you have a BMW that requires any service under the hood, do not bring it here!!
