Both sisters Navy and Lida are very good , I'm definitely going back again ,Best prices too .

    Gel manicure with design

I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure here. Lida is so sweet! She was attentive and worked really hard to get the design I wanted on my nails. I would certainly come back and would recommend. They accept credit cards (min. $10) and have Venmo for tipping if you don't have cash. Call ahead to schedule your appointment! They have walk-ins, but it was busy for me when I got there at around 5:30pm for my appointment.

The girl who did my nails was super good I had a hard design for her but she did it better than I expected i definitely recommend Sydney Nails

Absolutely perfect manicures every time (I get dip manicures). The nail techs are very accommodating and pay attention to detail. They are also so nice and friendly. I highly recommend calling ahead to make an appointment because there are only 3 nail techs and they can get busy!

Always loved this place and returning to Quincy for amazing nails was well worth the trip. Everyone who works there is so polite and accommodating.

Blood on my nails, crooked. Not the color I asked for either.

I have never had such a poor experience. The lady doing my nails cut the skin around 4 of my nails to the point of bleeding when doing my cuticles. It was extremely painful. The color I asked for was pink, and these are clearly not, however I did not mind that. Then I saw one of my nails was completely crooked, and when asked to fix it 3 times, she did not. Lastly, she stopped in the middle of my appointment, right after I was bleeding profusely, and asked me to pay. So I did, and when paying in cash, the woman laid my change out on the table and before I could even touch it, she took the liberty of taking 5 dollars to tip herself without me saying anything. This is by far the most ridiculously awful nail appointment I've ever had and will not be returning. Oh, and the nails are absolutely trash!

    Gel mani - day two

A small and clean salon with 4 mani and 4 pedi stations. Came in around noon on Saturday and there was a small rush of people but I didn't wait more than 10 minutes to sit and start soaking my feet. My pedicure was very comfortable. The woman was meticulous and went back and cut my toe cuticles again before painting them and went back after with a brush and nail polish remover to clean the sides. I also got my gel removed for $5. I was just expecting them to take off the polish, but my nails were buffed, shaped and cuticle oiled after, which was a nice surprise. My total was $25 for both! Bargain for such good service and a relaxing and thorough pedi. Will def come back in the future to try other services. Saw that a gel mani here is $25 which is very reasonably priced for south shore!

    5 hours after my manicure.

I just got my nails done TODAY at this salon. I asked for acrylics with gel polish on top. They looked fine, I went for a bolder color - yellow. I left feeling content (spent 73 and tipped 15), and then I realized when I got home that the nails were a little wide at the top. I called and they told me to come back in so I showed up 15 minutes later. She filed down the sides of my nails, and then told me I was all set to go. I wasn't sure if she was going to seal the nail again with top coat but she said bye to me after I washed my hands. So I thanked her and left. My nails started peeling five hours later. Kind of sucks considering I spent $88.

    Gel manicure $30

Navy is so nice and she took a lot of time to make sure that my nails were perfect! $30 for a gel manicure - prices have definitely gone up everywhere though so this is pretty average. I've tried other nail salons but I always end up back at Sydney Nails because they are always very meticulous and pay close attention to details.

Very good people, relaxing atmosphere. Quality service! But French pedicure could have been better

The staff at Sydney's is amazing! Every time I go elsewhere for a gel manicure I regret it.

I've been coming here for over two years with no issues, but unfortunately my most recent…read moreexperience was disappointing enough that I don't plan to return. During my last visit, the nail tech didn't soak off the old dip before applying the new set. Instead, she layered new dip over the old, which made my nails look thick, uneven, and left product on my cuticles. I politely tried to point this out at least twice, but she kept insisting my nails were "too thin" and that's why she had to leave the old dip on which is something I've never experienced in my four years of getting dip manicures. Even more concerning, she initially tried to remove my dip by prying it off with a nail tip, which was painful. I had to ask her to stop and soak them instead, which is standard and much safer. It looked bad enough that several friends commented on how poorly done they looked. Like I said, I have never had an issue like that before, after coming here for so long. They did reach out to me with an offer to redo my nails at no charge, which I appreciated, and the redone set actually came out looking great. However, when I asked to change the color since they were starting from scratch anyway. I was charged $35 just for the color change, even though a full dip service is $50. That felt unfair. To add to the frustration, I still tipped 20% on the full price service both times. I spent $105 in total for a simple dip manicure. I've had many good experiences here in the past, but this one left me feeling dismissed and overcharged. I hope they take this kind of feedback seriously and improve how they handle situations like this going forward.
