I showed up out of the blue as a new customer and they did a same day wash (not dry cleaning,…read moreregular laundry) on my giant king size comforter. It's too big to wash in my home washing machine so this place will be my go to spot. I came early and had to ask nicely of course, but they were very accommodating to me wanting it back the same day. My boyfriend told me they have "been there forever" and I can see why. My only complaint would be the parking is really challenging during peak shopping times since this place is smack dab in the middle of downtown Westport.

One of the biggest/best cleaners I've been to, and I've NEVER had a problem with quality or customer service. This is the only place I go to for dry cleaning and tailoring, and I recommend it to all of my friends -- recently got a suit tailored here for a family friend's wedding, and everyone wanted to know where I got it done. The owners have been working there for around 20 years, and they are true professionals. I think they also do pickup/delivery, though I always just stop by because it's so convenient (Compo shopping center). It might not be the cheapest cleaners around, but they more than make up for it in quality. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cleaners/tailor and anyone new to the area!

Rather than being up front about this, they lied over and over again, just asking me to come back next week. So 6 visits later they said they would call when delivered but never did. When the piece finally came back they had the nerve to still charge me with some dinky $5 discount. Do not give this operation your business.

The service is exceptional and expert in cleaning and tailoring. I have had my family's clothing altered, pants hemmed, zippers repaired or replaced and countless shirts, sweaters, pants, dresses, comforters, pillows dry cleaned or laundered without a loss or shrinkage during that entire time! It's always a pleasure to see the hard-working owners, wife and husband, who endeavor to please their customers. Also, the location is great - opposite Super Stop and Shop in Westport - convenient to Southport and Fairfield residents as well. Reasonable pricing, too.

I have used Final Touch for many years with success although they are ridiculously expensive…read more Sometimes I get a smile from their sullen personnel. I brought in an Oscar de la Renta silk jacket to patch the sleeves since the silk ripped. When I picked it up, I saw that instead of an invisible patch inside the garment, they patched it and sewed, in crazy quilt fashion, all over the the rips that were formerly invisible on the surface. I was pretty angry and said that if they had doubts about the way they planned to repair the jacket they should have called me. The owner, not one bit apologetic, said he couldn't call all his customers. I thought up 2 ways to fix the rips but didn't trust them to do a decent job. I assumed he wouldn't charge me for the work. Guess what? He wanted half the fee. Sick of arguing, I paid for half the work. This owner made a serious mistake. The Cleaning business IS customer service! Had he been one bit apologetic, I would have been mollified and we might have worked out a way to fix the problem. I will never go there again and tell my friends about their disregard for my property, after all, we entrust dry cleaners with our clothes, if they ruin them, they owe us money! Stay away!
