As soon as we entered, we were greeted by Deanne who told us to let her know if we have any questions. The store was nicely arranged and I loved how there were so many samples to try. We were looking at the eye creams and Deanne offered to test the caffeine eye cream on me which was really kind of her. My friend ended up buying a travel size hand cream and Deanne gave us a bunch of samples of the eye cream. Overall, the products are a little pricey but they are high-quality and make perfect gifts. The evening starts with a bottle of crisp rosé and a beautiful organic vegetarian/vegan-friendly spread. Mondana even made delicious lentil dip to go with the assortment of nibbles. Then we move onto group facial starting with a pumpkin-seed peel, and a fresh mask Mondana blends right in front of you. And the stuff in the mask...wowmanuka honey, $500/bottle ginseng extract, organic blueberries, collagen peptide to name a few. After the mask was done, we finished our treatment with toners and moisturizers that she recommends for different skin types. The evening was topped with a very soothing hand massage with a massage oil of our choosing. I think Essentique's facial night is perfect for a girl's night out. I've done mani-pedi nights before, but often times the chairs can be far apart and it's hard to socialize. Essentique's setting is beautiful and serene but intimate at the same time. Perfect for relaxing and chit-chatting after a long day at work. My friends were so relaxed and happy. I'm not about to buy two jackets though because one is good enough. I recently bought a couple of Burberry jackets but they're basically luxury fashion, and I wore those in the Fall and plan to wear in the Spring. Or indoors. I more recently bought a Marmot down parka for when the temperatures falls below 32 because Barbour needs more layering if it's below freezing. This is for the most part to wear at higher elevation.

We picked a color & reassured my mom that we'd watch a video on how to use the product later. Sure enough the same girl offered to ring us up for the product. Commission without knowledge. How the heck is anyone supposed to know how to use any of the 1000s of product that Sephora is selling if the 5+ employees that are always standing around can't show you how to use actually use the product.
