I recently purchased a fourth pair in Jute Brown and was surprised to see how long they are. I have checked the sizing chart online, which stated "inseam lengths: Regular 31"; Petite 28.5"; Plus 30". I expected the inseam to measure 28.5" but in reality it measured 30". I contacted customer service and was told that must have been an isolated incident and was allowed to exchange the pants for the correct size. I received the second pair and they also measure 30". I intend to keep the pants, as I have paid shipping and do not wish to pay for return shipping. I also like the color and fit with the exception of the length and will have a seamstress alter the length. This will be the end of my long time relationship with Lands End, as I no longer trust the quality of their merchandise.

Soma is one of the best places to get bras. However, when I visited this location last week, I was…read morenot impressed with the sales staff. The woman that was helping me did not know what a bralette was when I asked to see one. I had to show her a picture in the Soma catalog. The catalog also indicated there was a 15% sale off your entire purchase but she said that didn't apply to individual sales but later told me that I was eligible. In an effort to sell me more than one bra she made it sound like this was going to be the only bra I would wear and would need more even though we had a conversation about the number of Soma bras I had previously purchased. The last objectionable thing she did was bash their main competitor (Viictoria's Secret), saying how inferior their bras are. I really dislike salespeople that have to resort to competitor bashing to try and make a sale. All-in-all, Soma still remains the place I prefer to buy my bras, but the sales staff at this location could be better.

Seeing that they rarely have my size in stock (6 petite, dark wash jegging) I immediately went to the front counter and asked if they could check the computer for this size and style. A younger man with a nose piercing and dark hair seemed incredibly perplexed and questioned why I didn't just look on the floor to see if they had it in stock. He didn't check the computer but came back after 12 minutes to tell me they had none in stock on the floor. While I was waiting the manager (shorter chubby white woman with dark hair and glasses) and another employee complained and talked all about people calling out, ordering lunch and being overworked. I asked if they could order a pair of the jeans I wanted to be shipped at my house. The younger male employee with a nose piercing was too confused to do so, and at that point I had been there over 20 minutes just for a simple return. The same employee initiated to return but said he needed a manager's thumbprint to process and that the manager was POOPING so it would be a few minutes before she came back. The entire lack of customer service and basic decency to not talk about your unhappiness with your job in front of customers just baffles me. I have much better customer service at the drive through line of any McDonald's. Corporate needs to entirely fire everyone and initiate a course on manners. P.S. I only described the employees as I don't remember their names. I have piercings and all that so it's in no way judgment but trying to be descriptive on who was giving no customer service whatsoever.
