Within approximately two months, the replacement battery itself began failing and displaying a "Service Recommended" warning. The battery now has significantly reduced capacity, despite relatively light use. He contacted the store multiple times seeking assistance. Because he currently lives abroad, he repeatedly explained that returning to the store was not a realistic option and asked several straightforward questions regarding warranty coverage, shipping costs, and possible remote solutions. After repeated follow-ups and emails, those questions were never answered. The only response he received was that he could return to the store or mail the computer in for review. When he requested additional information about how the warranty process would work under those circumstances, communication stopped. A battery replacement that fails within a mere matter of weeks is disappointing. But the lack of communication and the unwillingness to meaningfully address the issue afterward were far more disappointing. After he posted a review describing his experience, he received a prompt response stating that corporate had approved a full refund and asking that the negative reviews be removed. However, after providing the requested refund information, communication ceased again and the refund has not been received. The receipt and relevant email correspondence are attached for reference, including the email offering the refund and requesting that the negative reviews be removed. Readers can evaluate the situation for themselves. Based on what I have seen, I cannot recommend iFixandRepair Forest Park.

Unfortunately, just two weeks later, a noticeable black blob appeared on the new screen near the Dynamic Island. This looks like OLED screen bleed or a defect. The phone has remained in a case with a screen protector the entire time and has not been dropped, bumped, or otherwise mishandled. Given the timing (only 2 weeks after installation) and the specific location of the spot, this issue is almost certainly the result of either a defective replacement screen or a problem during installation (such as trapped dust, adhesive, or pressure damage). It is not consistent with normal use or accidental damage. I offered to bring the phone in so they could inspect it in person, but they declined and immediately dismissed the warranty claim without examination. While I understand repairs aren't perfect, I'm disappointed they are unwilling to stand behind their work and honor the warranty on what is clearly a post-repair defect. I went from a satisfied customer who would have returned and recommended them to someone who can no longer do so. Potential customers should be aware that warranty support may not be reliable here. EDIT: Contrary to the response below the phone was never physically inspected. Rather, the response was based on a set of photos sent showing the issue which, alone, would be virtually impossible to come to a conclusion of physical damage versus defective product. As a customer, you are in a no win situation here as no matter what happens they are going to blame you and not the manufacturer or installation for the problem.

I was using my laptop to find repair shops and making phone calls was not possible for me at the time and he responded fast. The corners of the steel frame on the Pixel were bent from previous drops and a new one is needed for the new glass to sit flush and properly. However, the Google Store was missing the steel outer frame which is necessary for the new glass to be installed and they said because this model is a few years old and they are not receiving new parts for it. Jesus knew I needed a phone right away so I could get back to my job and my funds were super low and I couldn't afford to spend $400-$500 on a new phone so he did his absolute best to work around the damaged frame issue for me. He managed to get the new glass in there but the bent frame caused several hair-line cracks across the bottom half of the screen but the phone worked again! It didn't really look to bad to be honest. He wanted to make it right for me said he will order another glass and install because he had an idea of how to repair the frame for me and would do so at no extra charge and he would call me the new part arrived.
