We contacted Radon Be Gone and the largest Utah provider (self-proclaimed) of mitigation systems…read moreafter discovering our levels were scary-high. Radon Be Gone (RBG) was less expensive but this was not something I wanted to "go cheap" on... I wanted it done right. The "other company" quoted me over the phone without even looking at my property to discuss the installation. They planned to figure it out real-time on install day. RBG sent a knowledgeable technician out to hear my ideas and concerns then discuss the installation. The "other company's" guaranteed radon level after mitigation was higher than RBG and they would only guarantee that if I installed two of their systems in different in my basement. It was as if they were not confident in their ability to do the job right. So not only were they more but I would need to double that cost to receive their guarantee. Based on these two factors I went with RBG. So, how did they do? They showed up on time did a very clean and neat installation and, most importantly, it had an immediate effect taking my radon levels well below 1.0 on my meter inside of 24 hours. Awesome work! Thanks to Wayne for coming out to survey and educating me on the process. Thanks to Cristian and Owen for your great work installing the system! We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend Radon Be Gone.

Luckily I had a french drain in my gravel under the basement flooring, so we tapped into it. Within 2 days my level dropped to stay between 0.3 and 0.9! Only a light hum can be heard when the house is very quiet. I'm very pleased with the work, service and pricing from Radon B Gone. Thanks, guys!

Absolutely Awful!!!…read more After we signed the contract with Renovate Ease to do a complete bathroom remodel, we met with the contractor who would do the actual work and agreed to what would be done and what I needed to order. After all the products came in, I found out that they were having someone else come out to do the work. When they arrived, they had no idea what needed to be done nor how it was to fit. I had to go through it all again. They installed the towel bars incorrectly and had to patch and do it again. Since this was what they thought was the last thing that had to be done, they asked me to sand, texture, and paint the patchwork after it dried. I told them that was their job and discovered that they didn't install the window surround and they could finish the wall when they came back to install the surround. When they came back, the window surround was not the right one, so they took leftover shower wall and used that. The biggest problem we had was when they removed the old vanity, they discovered that the hot water supply valve was leaking. Instead of replacing the faulty valve, they took the supply hose intended for the new toilet and attached it to the faulty valve and placed the end in a bucket to catch the leaking water. In the early morning hours, the valve failed completely and not only flooded the bathroom, but the furnace room below. They did immediately send a team out to replace the valve and clean up the drywall, insulation, and check the furnace, but would not take responsibility to repair the damage. Four different times over a 46-day period, they told me they would come out and repair the damage only to have no one show up and no communication from them until I asked. I finally had to take them to small claims court to have them pay the cost of the repair and pay for damages to an item that was ruined. The night before the hearing, they brought me a check. I went to the hearing to cover my interests, and judgement was in my favor. The owner of Renovate Ease never showed up to the hearing. I have my doubts if they actually have insurance since I was told they would not be contacting me. I would never recommend them to do anything. They do not communicate, the work is haphazard, and it takes forever to get the job accomplished. Update: in response to Thomas' statement about financials, I am ready to pay whomever I owe. The last communication I got was from a company that took over their accounts receivables for whatever reason. I was told not to pay Renovate Ease. As soon as this is resolved, I will gladly pay.
