All flooring, walls, insulation, and even some cabinets had to be removed/replaced. As a young couple with their first home, this was a very daunting, terrifying, and stressful experience. A lovely lady on call came out and chatted with us while we were in tears at 1AM in the morning and sat with us until the clean-up crew arrived at 7AM. She discussed our options and they worked with us on financing, and even capped the price regardless how much more they'd do to the home in clean up. We got a plumber out to stop the problem shortly after it happened and I immediately worked on mopping up water long before anyone clean-up-wise showed up. By the time they did around 7, I had most of the water cleaned up (that was on the floor anyway). Other than the sensation that some of the workers felt "done" with their work on the house (and left behind a broom lol) towards the end of the clean up phase, I could not recommend this company more. We were going through a heat wave and not a day that had passed that week was less than 100-105 degrees, and they still worked their butts off. I'd be "done" too! They put fans down after sanitizing the construction-floor several times and the fans plus a dehumidifier and air scrubber were in our basement/first floor for about 4-5 days. We turned the fans off at night so we could sleep, and would just turn them back on in the morning. They let us know that could elongate the process, but it sounds like it didn't hinder it too much. They verified the moisture levels had gone down to a healthy range before removing the equipment, and it was definitely a breath of fresh air/relief when the fans were gone - I did not realize they'd be so loud! But it makes sense. Everyone who came out to our house to help during every process was so caring and genuinely wanted everything to be rebuilt better than when they left it (Which wouldn't be too hard), and boy were they right! The insulation was put in with more care and precision than before, the walls look great, and the flooring is an upgrade to what we used to have and far higher quality. I couldn't be happier with the reconstruction - they're moving as fast as they can given they seem stretched thin right now, but come out as often as they can to continue work. The project manager who is overseeing our rebuild is probably one of the most hard working, genuine, caring, person I have ever met. Same to the lone wolf who did all the dry-wall, mudding, and sanding. Absolutely amazingly hard working people. ___ Long story short -- with all companies you'll find "bad eggs" or people that don't work as hard as others. That's frustrating, yes, but in the end I wouldn't peg it on the entire company in the slightest. I'd only peg my frustrations at those individuals. The Disaster Company has seriously taken care of us during this process. It's been about a month almost since the Cat-3 Flood and we're nearing the final steps of our rebuild. All should be done in a week or two! You can discuss financing options, and PLEASE be kind, open, and honest with those working hard on your home! While your situation may be rough right now, it does not warrant you being rude or mean to those just trying to help. These guys came out at all hours of the day to assist us, and even when they didn't need to and just wanted to lend a helping hand before going home for the night. One of the best Utah companies I have ever had the misfortune (because flood) and pleasure of working with haha.

The mitigation with josh was awesome! He kept us in the loop and had it done very quick. They did break our wood blinds and were supposed to fix them, but never got around to it. Pushing forward to the rebuild I asked for a bid before we proceeded with payment. We were advised to pay our insurance money forward and they asked me to sign a work authorization form, claiming it was just so they were aloud in our house, just to even get us a bid. We were going to do an add on since they were already there but when they gave us a bid for that add on it was way steep compared to what we thought it would be. So we asked to just rebuild it the way it was and we were told we would be getting the bid for just the rebuild. Weeks went by, no bid came. I reached out several times and codi told me she would have me on the schedule and we will just make changes as we go, but to just get sheetrock started. A few weeks of waiting brittany reached out asking what color floor we wanted. Confused I asked why we werent doing the sheetrock first like we were told by codi. No answer, for weeks once again. Finally my wife called in asking if we could just get our money back so we could pursue other contractors. She was on the phone talking with Brittany on the details, when codi came on the line and openly laughed and mocked my wife about my wife's background in construction billing. Hearing about this I went into their office to personally ask for our money back and to see why we were being treated so poorly by a company we were supposed to trust. Codi said they were waiting on a form to be signed, billy yelled in the back ground it was already signed. Then she proceeded to tell me how sorry she was for joking with my wife. I told her it wasnt a very funny joke, and being in construction my self im flabbergasted that a company would mock a customer that way. We agreed to get our money back, no one ever mentioned they would be keeping any of it or a contract was binding us to almost 5k. Weeks later we recieve part of our money back missing about 5000 dollars. With a contract signed with Josh's signature, under my name, not my signature. They claim since we broke the contract they were entitled to 20 percent of our total insurance claim. With no bid still, no work even done, still have broken blinds and tile grout that was never fully removed and needing chiseled or grinded, then mocked on a personal level by the manager here. We have tried reaching out to the owner with no response. Allstate has reached out and still, no response. Sad a company would take advantage of people like this, especially a young family who had only lived in this house for two weeks before the flood happened. Definitely do not recommend this company at all!!

Three days later and we stay home all day waiting for them to show... nothing. No response, no communication. It's a weekend so they don't get back to us until the following Monday, when they say they were "slammed" and couldn't make it to our house. I understand things can get busy, but the decent thing to do is communicate that you won't be showing up. So then they reschedule us for the following Monday a week later, today. Same story, no show, no communication. Three times. We have been living in a giant mess for a month. TNT Cleaning is very unprofessional with terrible customer service. They found 80 faults in the instal of the floor. When Brian was presented with this info, he refused to pay for the inspection and refused to fix the floor. Brian would paint walls without sanding, he used clear silicone to fill a gap in the floor because of miss measurements, he chipped our glass shower door, and refused to replace it. He scratched our marble flooring and when attempting to repair it, damaged more marble, and made crooked cuts. Brian decided to block me from his Face Book page so I couldn't leave a review there. 100% would NOT recomend.

We have waited a full year to write this review in hopes that Brain Lasnik of BTL Remodel Inc. would answer our certified letters, messages, emails, and lawyer. Unfortunately, this is not the case so here we are... Construction is a business. Therefore, in exchange for payment, clients expect results. As clients, we made over $35,000 in payments. We also paid for additional material costs that were contractor responsibility because he communicated he could not pay his vendors and could not finish our project without us giving him more money. As of September 2021, he hasn't resolved the issues or finished our remodel project and we still have thousands of dollars of repairs to make due to his disaster. We hired Brian for an almost full remodel of our main floor. We hired him March of 2020 for an April 2020 start date. He said we would have the project completed by June of 2020. Throughout the project, he was an unreliable communicator and his guys would show up randomly once a week for a few hours then leave, however in August 2020 he literally abandoned the job and stopped replying to all communication. Per his contract, we were required to meet with a mediator to discuss any disputes. We attempted to send certified letters, emails, etc for weeks then we finally answered a few emails in October 2020, basically refused to meet with a mediator, and then ghosted us again. We haven't seen or heard from him since until last week when we ran into him at the grocery store. He cowardly didn't even say hi and hurried to get in his vehicle before we could talk to him. Brian does shoddy work with poor craftsmanship. He has almost no attention to detail and clearly no pride in his work. Practically everything Brian personally touched had issues. He caused thousands of dollars of damage. He also instructed his workers to cover up and hide mistakes instead of fixing them. Some issues included our flooring cracking/ buckling, calking and gluing in pieces of flooring where he cut the wrong, framed walls/ drywall extremely uneven and wonky, painting before sanding everywhere, ruining baseboards, terrible finish work, installing glass shower doors with cracks in glass, damaging the marble tile he installed, cutting wrong angles in tile, installing cabinets that don't close properly, etc. He also caused a water leak which damaged our basement. We communicated the significant workmanship and material issues in punchlists, messages, and in person and many were not fixed before he abandoned the job. Our new floors were a major functional component of our first floor remodel. We discussed the major buckling and cracking in the floor material post installation. We hired an independent flooring inspector to assess the floor failures and provided the inspection report to Brian. In summary, the floor was failing due to installation error. We requested a response/resolution plan and received no response from Brian. We got quotes from other contractors to fix Brian's mistakes and they ranged $17-30k to fix all the issues he caused! It is also worth noting that Brian is incredibly rude to women and on many occasions caused issues with his comments. It was unclear if his license was expired because the picture we took of his license showed him crossing out and writing a new date on it? Also, his workers stole personal belongings from our house like nice camera equipment! If we could go back, we would have fired him after the first few issues. We gave him the benefit of the doubt and truly wanted to support someone local. Brian has charisma and pulls you in but don't be fooled! He is a conman. Dodge this dumpster fire of a business! We learned the hard way and have since learned of many others that did too.
