Expert IT Solutions! When a major computer virus hit my MacBook Pro desktop at 4:55 pm, I immediately called Swift Chip who had done a great job in the past. The very next morning, computer wiz Bif arrived to diagnosis and remove the rare virus. Bif is so knowledgeable, patient, and efficient. He also found some other issues that I had been unaware of and helped me with Dropbox, Gmail, and Facebook challenges. Swift Chip is the perfect partner for us business owners who are tech-challenged. Swift Chip has been a trusted resource for my business since we moved to Ventura in 2010. Ken and his staff have always delivered. They have 'saved' us more than once when our computers and peripherals have gone on strike. Last week, I am embarrassed to say that I fell victim to a tech support scam over the phone. I suspected I may have been scammed and that one of my laptops was compromised. I called Ken at Swift Chip. He reassured me that he could take care of things. We dropped off my laptop and Ken quickly got to work cleaning, scanning and optimizing my machine. I couldn't be more grateful. Going forward I am planning to set up my business in 2016 with IT services with Swift Chip...and I certainly won't fall for a scam call from someone posing as "Dell tech support" again. For many years Swift Chip has been servicing the computer/network system for my small company in West L.A. Their service is outstanding (not to mention their patience). Everyone is helpful and I will give a specific shout-out to Jenna, their Operations Manager, who through the years has replied and responded to me, by voice and by text, in times of need. Face it, when your computer goes down, your frustration goes up. It's such a relief dealing with people who are responsive, knowledgeable, and speak to you in terms you can understand. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I took my computer to Swift Chip to have a virus removed. They did a fantastic job and even sent a technician out to my apt. when I had trouble getting my internet connected back up. Ken May is the CEO and co-owner of Swift Chip, a full service IT firm servicing all of Southern California. He's been a resident of Ventura since 1999, is married to his wife Debbie, and has 3 daughters and a son. He has a Masters Degree from SBCOM, a Bachelors in Liberal Arts from Thomas Aquinas College and has written 3 books and numerous articles. He has been Voted Top Channel Influencer of the SMBnation 150, and carries numerous certifications from HP, Microsoft, Cisco, SANS, Symantec, Dell and more. Recently, he was chosen by his peers to be elected to the CompTIA Managed IT Services Community Executive Council, where he will directly influence the education and guidance of their international IT community. I found them to be super swift! I called them out to inspect my server, as it was acting very slowly and my previous tech companyy wasn't being responsive. Mark came out and found there was a virus on the server due to the other guys (*cough cough* Rescutechs *cough cough*) not updating the antivirus!
