I ordered the Shredded Kale Caesar bowl -- but I subbed that kale out super quick, friends. That's right, I subbed it for spinach + garden mix. I gets wild. Let me tell you... Whats INFURIATING is that they don't accept phone calls to the store so they can't rectify it. Took an hour to deliver 3 salads and now I have to order a pizza bc I'm not eating dry kale lol. The ingredients are high quality, and the dressings are actually so good. It's perfect for when you want something quick but still feel good about eating it. I'm diabetic and told the guy I couldn't have tortilla chips while ordering, and to please not put them in my salad. It will literally spike my insulin. I was polite and clear about this. He gave me chips in my salad anyway and tried to get me to take it. When I said no, I can't eat that, he passive aggressively made me this salad with barely any ingredients in it. Some days you get great portions and great quality and other days (like today) you get horrible quality with abysmal portions. 2 little scoops of rice, a child's hand full of cherry tomatoes and broccoli with 6 or 7 minuscule pieces of steak that's practically only gristle is completely unacceptable, let alone for $14.28 (with the $3 off sweetpass)! For a chain with 20+ locations in Mass this is embarrassing. As far as customer service goes, they've always been kind, but as I'm sure many people agree, nobody wants to pick up their food, see the quality is bad, then go back inside and make a scene during a rush. First time here. First impressions mean a lot to me. This wasn't a very good first impression. Entered at 1pm on a Saturday. I would expect it to be busy, but I would also expect there to be enough staff on the line. This wasn't the case. It was obvious the staff was stressed/strained. They weren't friendly/welcoming. However they weren't rude either. The woman putting together my salad was rushed, which I get. That being said, she sloppily threw my salad together. There were greens hanging out of the container with the lid on. There was salad dressing all over the outside of the container. I had the Guacamole salad. Can't remember the full name. The salad was good. That being said, a salad and a drink cost my just under $17 (I did add cheese). That's a bit aggressive for a sloppy mess of a salad and some flavored water, even if they do use the best of ingredients. I probably won't return on my own. The Good, Sweet green is a really nice addition to Market Street in Lynnfield. Being 8 weeks postpartum and fighting to get my pre-baby body back it's a nice reminder that we can still eat supper healthy when eating out. #noexcuses. The complex carbs that sweet green has to offer are a breath of fresh air. The Bad, Not sure if this is just us but we honestly weren't that full after leaving sweet Green. The meal was 100% satisfying but it wore off quickly. Unfortunately if your under the impression that you can have a bowl from here for dinner and be fine until the next morning your fucking WRONG. Please be advised there will be a major snacking session happening at some point during the night ;). The Ugly, The upcharges here are a little annoying. As we were going down the assembly line everything we wanted seemed to be "extra" I totally get that this place probably isn't cheap to run, and they source local whole foods but geez can a girl get some free shredded cheese. We may go back but if we do it'll be to grab a menu for healthy bowl inspos to make at home. Between the two of us, we Give SweetGreen 3 stars. We appreciate that there are restaurants like SweetGreen out there. Lord knows we need more healthy options on the Northshore but it's not going to get 5 stars from us. My husband and I came to Tonno tonight to have dinner at the bar. I spotted two empty seats and went to sit down, as the bar is first come first serve per the host. A dark haired female bartender asked if we would be eating dinner, when I replied "yes" she said.. I have people coming for these seats in 10 minutes. Basically saying we could not sit, and proceeded to place two mats down for the other guests. As a restaurant manager myself, I was horrified by this treatment. I stopped in for lunch on a holiday and wasn't surprised by how busy it was considering most people are probably at market Street to shop. The line was quite long, nearly out the door, so it took about 20 minutes to get to the register. I ordered the warm miso bowl and one of the unsweetened iced tea offerings they had. I then attempted to find somewhere to sit and just got lucky because they have very few seating options. The miso bowl is part of their limited-time winter menu and contains blackened chicken almonds kale pickled root vegetables and a very light Asian inspired dressing. The dressing was not too overpowering and was just enough to coat the greens without killing the entire dish. The unsweetened iced tea was delicious also. read more

Always enjoy a sweetgreen salad. I typically order Fish Taco with steelhead or blackened chicken. Guacamole greens is also good. I have tried several other but those two are my favs. They have warm bowls as well as cold salads. Easy substitutions - can swap out one thing for another. And unlike other places, if you take something out, they decrease the price! And the app is very easy to use. The reward program is good too, offering a free salad after buying ~8 (or spending a dollar amount), I think. A little pricey but the serving size is big. read more

Pains me to do this but I have to reduce my rating for the Lynnfield sweetgreen location in spite of being a big fan of this restaurant. Corporate decided to use this location as a test kitchen for their honey based dressings, reducing truly vegan friendly dressings to about one. When I contacted corporate, I am happy to hear report I received a prompt and well articulated response from the exec chef on why they went this route for less processed vs agave, etc but the net result is almost no dressing are vegan friendly anymore. Bummer. Please end the honey experiment in Lynnfield and bring back more, not fewer vegan friendly items. They made a delicious chickpea falafel dish called Sheek-pea years ago and that one unnecessarily added a yogurt based tahini making it not friendly to vegans either. read more

Sweetgreen much like one of my favorite fast food places Clover, is going to make you re-think the concept of fast food. Fresh, Flavorful and healthy is what comes to mind when I think of Sweetgreen. All great things. The salads here are really excellent. They feature a lot of fresh local produce and some even have a well executed protein. The combination of flavors are the real key. The rad thai featured well seasoned shrimp, spicy sunflower seeds and a spicy cashew dressing. They had just the right amount of kick to make the salad interesting. Minus one star for the value. These salads, for fast food, are really expensive (think between $8.50-$10). They are loaded with cheap ingredients like lettuce and you get the bare minimum on filling stuff like protein. I didn't find the rad thai to be a satisfying full dinner when I was hungry. I think some of these salads serve better for lunch. I will definitely come back for the flavor combinations and the fact that it's healthy-ish. Wish I had one closer to where I lived so we could go more often! read more

The person that put the dressings on top of the salad did not close the covers. The first one spilled all over my salad, and of course I did not like the taste.
