Rough start but good food…read more It had opened the week before, and there are kinks to work out. Workers were king of bumping into each other, running around, not one steady at register, kept changing. The ice wasn't working, the worker there was complaining about it to me. Though workers knew what to do in their roles mostly, they were not professional at all. Seemed like nice people but no smiles, didn't speak well (English was their first language), some looked sloppy in really oversized shirts, hair disheveled, etc. Greens options looked good, rice was good, braised lamb was pretty good, steak though cut into very small pieces was good. Important to say that when you order two different proteins, you are charged for the 2nd one. The seasonings on all proteins seemed moroccan, the grilled chicken was spicy, not just plain grilled chicken. Seasonings seemed repetitive to each other. Not a huge fan and I really like moroccan food. Sauces were good - tzatziki was great, good hummus, special feta was good. Prices are pretty high, like Boston prices, wish the prices were more prominent, like when buying 2 proteins, didn't know it would be doubled, thought the one serving was split into 2. Inside seating is like eating inside a pizza parlor which was fine. It seemed clean and new. Outside seating is plentiful and nice. Many were sitting outside. We would go back in another month or two. It's a good options. Wish they had the grilled vegetables for a choice on the protein. They simply didn't have some things because they are new.

After placing the order and paying, i was advised that they were out of the pizza i ordered. No call to offer a different pizza, they just cancelled the pizza. Seems like it wouldn't have taken much effort to see if i wanted a different pizza, or even just send the wrong one. underwhelming, unlikely to give them a 2nd chance.

Who would've thought that a place that specializes in roast beef sandwiches and pizza and that offers about 9000 other items would make such delicious meatballs? It surely does seem as though Mikey's has alot of bases covered. Don't just take my word for it. Go get their meatball sandwich and find out for yourself. I always disregarded them as they have "cafe and market" in their name. I assumed sandwich and bakery. We decided to pull in and discovered a full restaurant, patio, and bar. We decided to sit at the bar as it was last minute and there were empty seats. Joanna, our bar tender, instantly greeted us and got us some delicious cocktails quickly. My cosmo was one of the best I had. We asked for some recommendations, and she was spot on. The caprese salad was a plump delicious heirloom tomato with delicious pesto, mozzarella and balsamic dressing. The arancini was a cheesy risotto in a bolognese sauce that my husband couldn't stop saying "fantastic." Same with me. We ended up splitting the sliced filet which was cooked to perfection. Oh, and I forgot about the delicious warm bread and parmigian oil that was to die for. Service and food are 5 stars. We are going to come back again and again!! Loved it.

My…read morehusband and I live in Marblehead and wanted to try a new place - one that served food we couldn't get in Marblehead or nearby. We stumbled upon Sina's and decided to make it our 'date night.' WOW! Did we get lucky!! Located just a 20 min from Marblehead, we arrived to a quiet restaurant, where we were on the late-ish side, arriving at 7:30 and they close at 8:30pm. The owner and a colleague were waiting on everyone and the owner was cooking, too. We ordered: - Homemade falafel (incredible!) $9 - Masto-Khiar: Creamy rich yogurt blended with fresh cucumber and mint, $9 - Beef Barg: Two skewers of ground beef combined with onion, and house seasoning - served with grilled tomatoes and rice, $26 - Shirazi Salad: Fresh diced cucumber, tomato & onion in a juicy lemon-mint dressing with olive oil -- served with warm pita bread, $9 - The evening's special was lamb shank served with roasted root vegetables (a huge portion!) $35 - A traditional yogurt beverage (just to experiment - it was slightly salty and interesting) - Doogh $5 - A glass of white wine $13 - Freshly made baklava $4 (perfect as a great small dessert finale) --- Total $128.48 with tax ($117 food/bev, $11.48 tax) We were warmly attended to by the owner, 'Bejan' / 'Bijan' (?) - the 'j' is pronounced like a 'zh' - like in 'bijou.' He and his wife - and their 2 children moved to the USA many years ago to create a better life. They opened this restaurant (decorated by their daughter) in honor of their late son, Sina, who was tragically lost to random gun violence in 2017 - in Lynn MA. Their son was studying to be a pilot and was working as a pizza delivery driver when the random violence took his life. Truly heartbreaking. Sina was just 24 years old. Sina's portrait hangs above the cash register. I highly recommend this place - 5/5 in all ways. We will be back.
