Floor cheese dust

This seems to be the only location that does delivery in my area. I thought I was going crazy w the last few orders so I actually took pictures w the latest one. $14 (not including tax, service, delivery, tip) and the tomato portion is 6 cherry tomato halves, the broccoli is mostly stems, the Parmesan cheese is crumbs that you expect to be on the floor, and a meager portion of chicken. Yikes.

Falafel (burnt & dry) & Hummus, 3.7.2020.

3/10/20 - Since I just had a salad somewhere else & was still a little hungry, I opted for a piece meal while my Gal Pal was next door at CFA. My effort didn't work in my favor, as the Falafels were burnt & dry, along with crispy bread that's normally is soft. I did enjoy the tasty dollop of hummus which was suppose to be a "side" size. For the most part, my trips to SG's yields a good experience, so all good. Plus, the employees were friendly & full of energy.

Sometimes... very rarely I like to give my stomach a break and chose a meal primarily of fresh greenery with vinegarett dressing and maybe some roasted or bake chicken. I ran across a great little establishment serving just that and more, Sweet Green's is a wonderful spot for a light but tasty meal, they serve up the greens in a variety ways to suit anyone platelet, should you feel like something more you can build your own. I had the Rustic Salad with Wild Rice, Kale (our secret), Roated Tomatoes, Goats Cheese, Red Onions and some Roasted Chicken oh, lest not forget the Almonds... really good, if you have the opportunity to, I recommend trying Sweet Greens.

I am so happy to be back in the DMV, I have been absolutely craaaaving this place since I first had it three years ago! After three years of living in towns I can only call a foodie's greatest nightmare, I've finally found my vegan heaven! This will definitely become a new go-to! For this specific location, I just dinged it one star--while I had exceptional service, my mom, who had never been her before and did have questions about the different options available, dressings, etc., seemed to get the brush off from the employee helping her. She ended up with only one dressing, while I got two different ones to try, no bread, while I did, and she ended up having to use my lime because she just didn't want to ask anything else. But overall, really enjoyed getting to eat here again!

Customer service at this location is superb. The ladies are very nice. I got the protein bowl with salmon and I'm hooked! It's my go to bowl now.

Make your own salad/bowl with SO many options. I stopped here on my way to the airport to fly out of Ronald Regan. I made my own bowl with Tofu, spinach, onion, mushrooms, It was delicious!! My brother got the BBQ chicken salad and really enjoyed it as well. There are so many meat and non meat options, for a crazy amount of variety. Fairly priced too! Lots of food, come hungry.

While in DC for business and not eating the best I was craving a salad. Sweetgreen was a close walk from my business hotel. I was so delighted to see the fresh ingredients from farmers from across the country. Simple menu and can create your own salad. Many ingredients to choose from. Plenty of nearby seating, outside and or inside.

With an impressively high Yelp rating, I was disappointed to hear the new owners say the glowing reviews are from the previous owner (though I respect the honesty). Despite that, we really enjoyed our visit. The new owners live up to the legacy. First of all, the service is excellent. An older man makes the food and who I assume is his daughter takes the orders. Both are kind. At the end, she gave my daughter a granola bar for free. The menu is a mix of Korean food and the small market in the back sells Korean products and more. It's very fun to browse and pick up some snacks and treats. My daughter loved the juicy grape fruit snacks. To eat, we ordered the Japanese curry and milk tea. Both were full of flavor and made with love. "This is my new favorite meal of all time," said my daughter. She devoured the bowl herself! There's a small parking lot in front of the cafe. It's within walking distance from the Crystal City Metro.

Who knew that there would be a cafe in Pentagon City with this option? The interior is a bit cramped with many cardboard boxes piling up. We were able to order the food at the counter and waited about 5-10 minutes before the food was ready. BRAISED PORK OVER RICE (卤肉饭) - 15.49 Lots of rice, more rice than I could finish with the amount of braised pork belly they give. The pork was very fatty, which made it tasty and juicy, but it wasn't very saucy. There were two halves of a bokchoy and half of an incredibly boiled egg, which was meh. Still, I finished all the toppings and maybe a little less than half of the rice. I was full, but $15.49 for the food was not worth it. Overall, 3.5/5 but bump it to a 4/5 since there's a scarcity of food like this in the area. They sell other comfort Asian dishes too, like coconut chicken cutlet rice and Japanese eel rice.

In a time when some folks are busy declaring "Nuclear Family Month" and trying to decide whose rights count, Colada Shop is over here doing what really matters: serving delicious Cuban food, amazing cocktails, and creating a welcoming space for everyone. The croquetas were incredible, the drinks were refreshing, and the vibe was immaculate. The Pride decorations made me smile because despite all the noise, people are still showing up for community, inclusion, and joy. Turns out diversity isn't scary--unless you're a croqueta at my table. Those things disappeared fast. In a city that can feel especially heavy these days, this place felt like a breath of fresh air. Sometimes resistance looks like marching. Sometimes it looks like supporting businesses that make everyone feel welcome. Happy Pride Month to everyone celebrating. The staff is super friendly but getting our drinks was a little slow. Having said that, it was during busy times so we totally get it. Great Pizza! Extreme…read morePizza has some great pizza in the Crystal City area! The prices aren't bad and the service was relatively fast. I tried the Everest pizza & wings.....The pizza was nothing but delicious and loaded with toppings. The crust was a winner too. It was a great tasting crust ( not too thick...not too thin.... just perfect!). Between the topping and tomato sauce.....I am sold and will keep this place on repeat. The tomato sauce was so good that i asked for extra with my garlic twisted sticks....i literally had to ask for more! The wings were a standout as well. The workers were super nice and patient even though they had to come into work with the nasty weather. I order the chicken parm with the poppers. The chicken parm sub was delicious however the size was a lot smaller than what I expect from a normal sub. The poppers on the other hand I felt like the filling was lacking if you ate it by itself. It absolutely needed the chocolate dipping sauce that they provided to give the extra flavor profile for the dessert. Part of me wished there was just more Nutella flavoring or somehow a flavor in the middle that would be more flavor so there would be no need to dip. However, I cant deduct any points since I'm not a fan of chocolate and I believe anyone who is a fan of chocolate would be satisfied with it. The inside of the restaurant is kind of cramped but I came in when there wasn't too many people so it was spacious when it's empty. However it was cute and had seating facing the window so you can people watch outside. All in all I did give it a higher rating mainly because they were willing to stay open during the icy snow weather and provide food to all the travelers who were stranded. Thank you so much!

Always appreciate the minimalist yet still eloquently-decorated aesthetic of the restaurants, complete with a window to view the kitchen, which itself seemed relatively clean and well-kempt. Ordered the Woodear Mushroom and Mint Salad, and the Mogu Shiitake Mixian Ramen. The mushrooms were light and chewy, yet savory with citric and garlicky elements, and overall very refreshing. The ramen was solid in most respects, with a decent variety of vegetables and multiple proteins, including tofu, shiitakes, soybeans and marinated egg (which I enjoyed despite typically not liking hard-boiled egg too much). The noodles were a little bland, however, and didn't taste like they absorbed much of the broth. Overall, I'd say 4.5 stars are more accurate; YbP Noodle House is a regular haunt for me because the quality is there in most respects.
