Not impressed. Cake was dry at wedding I recently attended. Fondant is gross. I am sure they make other stuff that is good?

I knew I would be there at a certain time so I placed an online order for three sea salt coffees. I made sure they would be ready at a certain time that the app let me set. Also to note I've been here a few times and it's a very typical 85° which has a few tables to sit at and definitely keeps it very basic and bakery feeling. I get there about a half hour later and my coffee is not ready yet even though it was supposed to be ready 2 minutes before. I stood there for a while and finally someone came up to the coffee counter and asked if I needed anything. I said I was simply just waiting for my online order that I placed over a half hour ago. He went over to his computer and printed it out and got started on it but doesn't really give me a lot of confidence in placing online orders in the future. The worker did apologize and I appreciate that so four stars for now. As I was leaving, a lady who was also waiting for her coffee noted that she did the same thing and apparently they don't have all of their ducks in a row yet.

I loved my pressed panini with prosciutto, mutz, and a savory tomato spread. A sandwich is around $13, but is pretty large. The savory food menu was bigger than expected, and they even had a bunch of summer specials. Plus of course lots of breads, baked treats, and gelato. I also loved my iced espresso, and they have a fun list of bevvies. They also sell local packaged goods. The space is big and they have wifi - a perfect spot for remote work. Overall this is a much needed spot in town, and I'll for sure be back.

Well, how lucky were we that we hired Giuliano's Catering Service? I found them online and called, spoke to Michelle, who was wonderful. She knew I was a bit anxious about the party and she put me totally at ease. we decided on the mixed sandwich platter and a few side salads. We had over 50 guests to feed. The young man who delivered the food was on time and so helpful in helping us set up. The platters were sooooooo very good and more than enough. We had plenty to take home after. My personal favorite was the eggplant and my sister loved the tuna. We were planning on ordering the potato salad but when we discovered it was going to be 90 degrees, Michelle suggested the pasta salad. That was the perfect choice. I cannot rave enough about Giuliano's Catering Service. I will definitely use them again for my next party and highly recommend.

My son and I went out for breakfast over the weekend at Paris Baguette in Livingston, New Jersey. We walked into the pastry shop and were surprised by a large assortment of pastries under glass both sweet and savory. I usually like to constrain myself to one pastry and a cup of coffee but not this time. I ordered the "Very Berry Pastry $4.09, Raspberry Almond Croissant $5.49 and a Ganache Chocolate Bombolon $3.59". Every thing is made fresh in the bakery while the bakers are visible behind a glass wall. All the items I purchased were fresh and delicious. My son ordered the Pain Suisse $4.25 and we both had a cup of the LavAzza coffee $7.49 per/cup. There are three sizes to choose from. This is a sit and sip place or a grab n go. This was a Saturday morning so we sipped and sat. I don't have many Saturdays to sip and sit so it was extra special. If you can use the free WiFi to do work, the password is ilovecake. Also noticed that they offer 2 gluten free items wrapped and served near the registers. They had lots of employees working. Overall this location was underwhelming. We ordered some cake slices to go and they were ok. Very mildly flavored.

The service was very friendly and appreciated throughout the entire night. The cocktail hour was one of the better ones I attended. There was a raw bar, taco station, pasta station, sushi station, etc. My favorite items tried were the sliced beef and chicken in a waffle cone. The beef was cooked to a medium rare temperature and extremely flavorful. The chicken in a waffle cone was a great balance of sweet and spicy with a good amount of chicken in the cone. The sushi was decent at best, while the stuffed rigatoni was tasty too. The raw bar was a little underwhelming as I was not a fan of the raw oysters, but I did not try everything so maybe I just had a few poor ones. The first course of the night was the estate signature salad. It contained arugula, baby greens with julienne apples and an aged white wine vinaigrette. It was topped with caramelized walnuts and manchego cheese. It was a well put together salad. All the toppings complimented one another nicely especially the cheese and vinaigrette. For an entrée, I had the chateaubriand. It was roasted in a cabernet sauce and garnished with caramelized scallops. There was also a side of asparagus, carrots, and potatoes. The asparagus was fine, but the carrots were too hard. The potatoes were not too bad either, very creamy and packed with rosemary I believe. They actually asked for a temperature, which was unusual at a wedding. I asked for medium rare, and it came out a touch over, but not too big of a deal. It was a nice sized portion with just enough flavor. I also tried the salmon Oscar, which was topped with lump crabmeat and a cream sauce. The salmon and crabmeat were both too dry unfortunately. There needed to be more seasoning present as well. I also tried the chicken caprese, which was stuffed with mozzarella cheese and pesto served with roasted cherry tomatoes with vodka sauce. This was another solid tasting dish, great layers from the filing in the chicken. Finally, I also tried the spinach and ricotta stuffed eggplant with a tomato-basil sauce. This was another satisfying dish and was not too heavy like I thought it might be. This had great flavor. Will I go back? Yup.
