You can even make it a pre-Costco shopping delight stop. The menu is always changing but it feels like there's always something delicious to be had. My favorite is the Rocky Road where they actually add marshmallows on top and toast it for you. The Buttah Cakes has also been a recent gem that we've tried lately and it's absolutely delicious. Since it's freshly made, it's rich, creamy, and even a little scoop goes a long way. They even make waffle cones in store if you want to spruce things up for your dessert experience. The staff are friendly and handle rushes of customers well for the size of the shop. We're lucky to have a great shop like this in central Oahu so you don't have to drive all the way to town for a great ice cream fix.

I have been coming here since they were first open but I have not gotten around to reviewing them…read moreuntil now. I was craving ice cream. Let's just say this place changed A LOT over the past years. Service: 3/5 Waited about 5 minutes to get my order taken. There was a couple in front of me and the worker was chatting with them only. I was not aware of what she was doing until I realized I was waiting for a bit so I looked for myself and saw she was making a waffle cone. Would have appreciated if she told me "Be right with you!" She at least said thank you for waiting. Service used to be a bit more efficient from what I remembered in the past. While we were inside and eating our ice cream, 2 parties came in. They were waiting for about 3 minutes and I saw one of them looking around for the worker who went to the back. All we did was just shake our heads at this moment... Food: 3/5 Holy, these scoops though too. My sister and I paid $11 total for these tiny kid looking scoops. Ice cream tasted good but tastes mediocre now. I wanted a fruity flavor so I got the honeydew flavor that tasted like a melona without the stick. My sister's peanut butter and strawberry one was pretty good. However, I remember when they used to have flavors that I could not get elsewhere but it feels pretty basic nowadays. They give bigger single scoops at Baskin Robbin's for the same price or even a couple cents more. Ambiance: 5/5 I say there's ample enough seating and it feels clean and comfortable. I like sitting near the window but I just don't like that their one and only trash can is right next to that table. Verdict: I am not sure if I will be coming back. I noticed their flavors don't change as much as they used to. I remember being excited to see what's new but after today it seems like they been keeping things the same for awhile now. Between the size of the scoops, service, and the flavors I am not sure if I want to come back.

I walked in looked at the menu, let me add the limited space in this store with customers coming in and leaving with their orders made me realize that I stepped into a small business that's thriving. As stood in line and looked at the menu board, still unsure of what to order. I walked up to the counter and asked a few questions. The employee was very helpful and helped me to decide, she also made me aware of what I was getting. For myself I got the Affogato (A scoop of ice cream & shot of green tea). For my husband I gotten him the iced matcha $7 and added their house-made syrup earl grey for a $1. Their matcha tasted rich, earthy, smooth, creamy & vibrant green color. Which seems to be of good quality. I don't normally drink matcha green tea, it was definitely delicious treat and will order it again.

I inhaled the ube pandesal but that ule Bulilit bread? MY KRYPTONITE! The ube jam had my skirt flipping. Ube pandesal is a popular Filipino purple yam bread roll, characterized by its soft, fluffy texture, vibrant purple color, and often filled with cheese and ube halaya (purple yam jam). It is made with flour, yeast, sugar, ube powder/extract, and milk, then coated in breadcrumbs and baked. I learned that ube Bulilit bread is a popular Filipino bite-sized, soft bread filled with sweet, purple yam (ube) jam, most commonly sold by Valerio's Tropical Bakeshop. These small, chewy, golden buns are known for their vibrant purple filling and are often enjoyed as a snack or dessert. They offer a subtle, creamy sweetness and are a staple in Filipino bakeries, particularly in Hawaii. This place is not safe. Had I been the one to enter this establishment, I would leave lighter in the wallet and definitely heavier in weight!

Parking can be a bit crazy but it's Waipahu lol. Always the best desserts! My mom always got the pimento and pineapple cream cheese loaf and my dad would make weekly trips for their pandesals. It's been a whole since I've been here since they both passed away. My son was hungry after work and I picked him up at the Skyline in Waipahu and decided on coming to Seafood City. I must say that on a Sunday, this place was busy. When my son pulled a number they were at 59 and his was 67. They were so quick!!!!! He bought me the mini strawberry and cream cheese croissant and it was sooooooo delicious that we are going back today due to a missing food item from Jollibee. He got a variety of desserts and he enjoyed them all and wants to go back for more. The prices, according to him were decent.

It was a Thursday afternoon, and we mingled with the intrepid tourists who drove to Central O'ahu. This malasadamobile is permanently parked in food truck row. You can see it from the freeway. You can see Laverne's, the malasasamobile, Mountain Shave Ice, Thong's Thai, Taste Tea, Dick's Lechon, and ... the blood bank mobile. The truck ladies had to be sweltering but they were still nice. And it's always a happy atmosphere when you're about to get a box full of deep-fried, sugar rolled doughnuts. I stuck with the classic sugar but we also got some cinnamon sugar and stuffed (dobash and haupia) to share.
