Wedding couple and Sweet Red Velvet Cake!!

I needed a red velvet cake for a wedding dinner celebration. I am from Kentucky and after calling quite a few bakeries, I found SWEET! They were just amazing. Service awesome! Cake - unbelievable! Best red velvet EVER! Decorated so special. And I also had a Latte and a mini Cupcake when I went to pick up. This is THE PLACE!!!

Delicious and sweet! The mini cupcakes snd themed cookies were perfect for my daughter in law's shower at Dozzinos !

I needed a cake last minute and sweet's staff were extremely helpful. Their customer service was excellent and my cake turned out perfect. And also delicious!

They look gorgeous but the cupcakes are not good

These cupcakes just are not good! I'm so disappointed because they did look beautiful for presentation at my baby shower but the cake texture was thick and reminded me of a dry muffin and the icing was hard. Extremely saddened that these cupcakes went to waste and it was a waste of money!!! Also i called to put the order in and they gave me a completely different price from what it says online. Each cupcake says $4.25 regular but they said it's now $4.75 and that was before i asked for special designs. So just be aware their prices changed. As a business owner you have to honor what's on your website until you can get it changed. But whatever i still ordered because the reviews said they were good and idk if these are fake reviews but the cupcakes were not good! A lot of my guest did not eat them or picked at them to be nice. Very embarrassing to have these st my shower, i won't be back.

I ordered my 25th birthday cake there & the team was absolutely amazing to work with!! They were all so kind with making my vision come to life & we're happy to take inspo pics. The cake was delicious - I did chocolate w their mocha filling & vanilla frosting, all my guests raved about it and the cake was also HUGE! So I was so happy to have some leftovers. I did also grab a GF brownie, those were so yummy, you could not even tell they were different from a normal one. Only downside is they are a bit pricey, but after trying to get into contact with other bakeries or just have them understand my vision, I would 100% be happy to pay Sweet again for their amazing work & responsiveness.

I came here after dinner as I was craving something sweet. I love eating something sweet and I am always in the mood for cake. The quaint bakeshop is located near a park. Due to COVID, they are limiting the amount of people in the store. I ordered a Red Velvet ($3.75) and a Fluffernutter ($3.75). The cupcakes were tasty but, I felt that they were a bit small to be "regular" sized. Personally, I thought the taste and presentation was just okay. I didn't see anything that made them noteworthy to visit again. The bakery had tons of interesting flavors but, I am not sure I would return. Maybe if I was in the area again. The one thing I didn't like is that the cupcakes were placed in a paper bag. I had to be very careful on transporting home my goodies. The customer service was okay. The person didn't really seem into being there one way or another. I was just another fly on the wall for all they cared.

Lemon, Chocolate Coconut, Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, Banana, Vanilla/Vanilla, and Fluffer Nutter Cupcake

I've passed Sweet many times, but had never been in until Saturday afternoon. There was a good variety to choose from so I got 6 different cupcakes: Lemon, Chocolate Coconut, Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, Banana, Vanilla/Vanilla, and Fluffer Nutter. If I had to choose a favorite - it would be the Banana cupcake. 4-star rating because the cupcakes didn't seem super fresh, and there wasn't much of a size difference between the minis ($2) and regular ($3.75) - I got the regulars anyway. Since their shop doesn't have a ton of room, for COVID protocols - they limit it to 3 customers inside at once which I appreciated.

They just threw the cupcakes into a bag! They used to put them in a box. Disappointed.

All cupcakes are available in regular size ($4.25) & in minis ($2.25.) We ordered a variety of flavors -- Lemon, Chocolate Coconut, Chocolate with Marshmallow meringue, a mini-sized Black Bottom, & Fluffernutter for me. I can't speak for the rest of the cupcakes but my vanilla cake had the dense, dry texture of a muffin. I did, however, like its double topping of both peanut butter frosting & marshmallow meringue. Neither the staff nor other customers were wearing masks (I get it, it's their choice, & we're not in Cali anymore, Toto.) The bakery was stuffy so even though it was an overcast day, we took our goodies to nearby Church Square Park because it felt safer to be outside. The cupcake flavors are creative & Sweet doesn't skimp on frosting, but the cake texture & cashier's cold attitude make me want to choose another dessert spot next time I'm in the area.

I absolutely love Sweet. Their cupcakes are so delicious, moist, and fresh and they have a wide variety to choose from. I've never tried their cakes but I am sure they are as delicious as their cupcakes. Everyone that works there is super friendly too. Definitely recommend!

Ordered two cakes for an event I was having. Vanilla with vanilla buttercream and a chocolate with chocolate pudding. Outstanding. Probably the best vanilla cake I have ever had, frankly, and I order a lot of cakes. It was a dense cake and VERY flavorful. I sent in images and the owners were beyond accommodating. Delivered at exact time requested. Thank you again.

My review is solely on the cupcakes since I ran in and out in less than 5 minutes so I didn't get to see all that Sweet offers. I was looking for a bakery in Hoboken which had good reviews and stumbled upon Sweet! I needed 20 cupcakes ASAP for a birthday party in a couple of hours and since Sweet had the cupcakes already laid out it was easy to pick what I wanted. They have mini cupcakes for $2.00 or regular sized cupcakes for $3.75. I opted for the mini cupcakes since I needed 20 cupcakes I did not want to empty my wallet. I picked out 5 raspberry, 5 carrot cake, 5 vanilla and 5 red velvet for $40. Fast forward to the birthday party, the cupcakes were DEVOURED! They were soft, fluffy, decadent, creamy, just everything I hoped they'd be. We left the birthday party with one remaining which was gone really quick. Thank you Sweet, I will be back :)

Usually designer cakes look good and don't taste great. That is not the case here. The cake was decorated beautifully and the inside was equally as good. The cake was moist and the icing was sweet but not overpowering. We gave them an idea for a design and they nailed it. Loved the cake pops especially the vanilla ones as well. They were also very easy to work with so nothing to worry about there. You do a pay a premium for nice products but it is nothing astronomical here. They do an awesome job and have passion for their work. Love it!

I adore seasonal treats, especially for the Fall, so I headed there immediately to buy one. The staff at the bright and sunny shop was very friendly, as usual, which enhanced the experience. I asked them how to store the dessert, which I was not sharing with family until the following day. Their response about it being shelf-stable was accurate, because it was still very soft when I did finally cut it. The flaky crust had been ribboned with thin layers of pumpkin filling, winter spices, and pumpkin seeds. It was delicious and not too sweet, but it would have been better with more pumpkin puree. While I think their Triple Chocolate Babka is still my favorite, the Pumpkin version was still very enjoyable!

I ate it the next day and it was very good. I appreciated that it was a scone and not too sweet. There are chunks of apple in there with a definitive cinnamon presence. The caramel is drizzled over the top. It would go well with coffee or tea, particularly chai. There are other offerings here and if you see the cinnamon donuts, do not pass them up. 3.5 stars, but I am certain that could be revised upwards if I sample more of their baked goods.
