The iconic shop opened in 1939 and all the candy is homemade. I'm not sure if "homemade" means they make everything in store, but you can watch them make some of the candies when you visit the store. Besides candy, they also sell locally made jams and other gift products. Anyhow, who can resist fresh licorice. Not me. I would have had some chocolate, too, but the lines were too long.
