We both ordered Build Your Own shakes--mine with strawberries and his with Heath Bar. They were thick, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I was in Grand Prairie tonight and decided to stop by for the same BYO shake, expecting the same great experience. Unfortunately, this one was nothing like the first. Instead of being thick and creamy, it was more like strawberry milk. I was really disappointed. Consistency is what keeps customers coming back, and that's something every business should strive for.

It's on the far side of the Fitness Connection, with which they are clearly not sharing a demographic. Do not feel guilty getting ice cream! But if you do, you can pop in at the gym next door to work out your caloric shame. Place was clean, cool (as expected for ice cream), and quiet. The ice cream is delicious, as expected. Service was efficient and friendly. Lots of parking since it's in a huge shopping plaza, but the best parking is on the side. There you are not competing with the gym for spots.

To me, this meant it's freshly made and it better be worth $35!! First, the guy brought out the orders one by one opened. Second, one of my orders was wrong. Third, it took a total of 50 minutes from arrival to departure. The funnel cakes were delicious and thick. They were fresh and the size of two. Should have been $8 each vs $12.50. I loved the caramellionaire. It had salted caramel cookies and ice cream mixed in. I wasn't a fan of their version of cookies n cream. It just didn't do it for me. I also tried the white chocolate macadamia cookie. It was hard, and you could tell it wasn't fresh. Maybe if I came earlier in the day the cookies would have been more freshly made.

We also went back on Wednesday. :) Ice Cream - Vietnamese coffee, earl gray milk tea (fave!), ube, orange zest, hibiscus berry, & pandan (tied for fave)... all SO good. I'm used to such flavors & other places I go, I feel like you get that powdery/syrupy taste, not here. The hibiscus berry was surprise, a unique flavor which I'd get again. First topping is free. We did sample the durian... oh, it's durian for sure. Lol. Jasmine Milk Tea - All I can say is yep, truly jasmine. Total compliment! Creampuffs - the puff itself is light & crispy, the perfect crunch without falling apart. The cream, smooth & just turn right ratio of cream to puff. The ube one was my favorite. I believe the other flavors were strawberry, vanilla, & custard. This is becoming a new favorite, staff is pleasant & friendly. Really well mannered! Lots of choices, in addition to what we had there were also cookies, macarons, & a few other things. They had also had a new coffee with ube cold foam... I'll have to come back to try that. :)
