It's a very small candy shop located inside the south bay galleria, expensive for just a few pieces, besides the taste wasn't that great either.

Hurry folks hurry!…read more If you are an advent fan of the cashew brittle covered in that delicate white chocolate, you better get yours now! Not sure if corporate is watching, but please resupply the See's stores in So Cal with more Cashew Brittle product! While I'm a lot closer to the OG Fox Hills Mall location in Culver city, I am willing to travel in search of the gold standard for white chocolate/ cashew brittle from Sees! But guess what? No one seems to be able to get it anymore! In any case, Adrian T-pictured, was the CSA (customer service All Star) of this experience. Adrian went digging for me, and since the available supply of the white chocolate covered cashew brittle is currently so low, they are opening up boxes for their customer base-which is a smart move. I lucked up and he found three of them and didn't charge me. Thanks Adrian T, your credit to the See's Candies brand!

Shops are everywhere and who doesn't love a pristine, nostalgic chocolate shop where boxes and boxes of candies are stacked with military precision? You can't walk in without a being offered or handed a sample. What's not to love? I'd sign up for this every. Single. Time. Of course we were greeted by a sweet lady right when we walked in. This isn't our usual See's shop, but its proximity to church made it a "must stop in" errand on our way home. We loaded up on peanut brittle, which, if you have not tried, you really must. It's delicious and unsurprisingly, addicting. Two of the big boxes will last less than a month. Yup, I admitted that. I tried Scotchmallows for the first time. I'm now addicted to the dark chocolate ones. A tin of "Littles" will set you back $25 but will satisfy your chocolate and sweet craving. And I'd offer these as gifts because they're the perfect size in a nifty tin. Gotta love that convenience. A couple of 1lb boxes for gifts and we were on our way. Take advantage of the $5 coupons and the Happy Habit rewards for gift cards when you spend more than $40 a month for 3, 5 and 7 months. Easy to do if you find yourself with a nagging craving or friends and associates who love to receive candy gifts. Chocolate is as chocolate does. If that isn't a famous quote, it should be.

While I've been here a few times this is my first formal review. I came with my family one Sunday evening on a hot July day, bypassing several chains on the way, including the new(er) Salt and Straw across the street. The inside is packed to the brim with sweets, small toys, and people, much like a candy shop of old. After reaching the front of the winding line our family shared a Banana Split ($13) - three scoops of ice cream, a split banana, hot fudge, a single dry topping (we chose coconut), whipped cream, and a trio of cherries - about as classic as it comes. The ice cream was good but not exceptional. The chocolate and strawberry were fairly generic, but I liked the third scoop of banana foster ice cream which had a nice banana kick. I doubt this ice cream is home made. The complements and construction to the sundae were great, however, and the flavors came together well. As I would hope for a location like this, the staff are local youths who served with patience and passion. In cases throughout the store are several of their other specialties - ice cream cookie sandwiches, dipped frozen bananas, and more - inviting repeat visits. Prices are elevated but not crazy for such a trendy area, although I would say with the middling quality of the ice cream a couple dollars less would be fine. Overall, Manhattan Beach Creamery is a local landmark worth at least a single visit for anyone in the area. If you can get past the generic, if a little boring, ice cream flavor and rampant commodification of the interior, you'll find a classic ice cream parlor with great service and history. Is it worth a repeat visit? I leave that to you. Food: 4/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 4/5

You can see the actual bird of strawberries in the ice cream scoop. And their scoops aren't tiny -- they are the full, overflowing scoop of ice cream. The staff is helpful and friendly. Today, the inside was decorated for the World Cup 2026 fans, and there definitely were some global visitors, judging by the languages I overheard in the line while waiting for my turn.

My niece wanted mochi for their graduation treat. I tried to…read moresee what was available in SD. I did read about this little spot. It is located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace. They have a lot of very nice pricey packaged goodies(special Japanese chocolate and peach jellies and fancy mochis) in the front area. I ended up near the window displays towards the back. I was eyeing up the cream buns. (red bean, custard, matcha, chocolate) I have never seen these before, but I decided to not get these since they do not contain mochi. Right beside them are the Mochi creams. They had many different flavors, it definitely took me some time to decide. (some are: red bean, mango, green tea, peach yoghurt, apple pie, blueberry yoghurt, strawberry shortcake, choco Banana, white chocolate, chocolate, Black sesame, raspberry) These have the wonderful mochi on the outside with the flavored filling inside with soft sweet white cream in the middle). I will say the mochi on the outside is super delicious, it was chewy and incredibly soft. I have had my fair share of mochi and it's very good here. There were the flavors we got: 1. Black Sesame: 3/5 2. Strawberry Shortcake 4/5 3. Green tea 4/5 4. Red bean 4/5 5. Mango- 5/5 Each piece is not cheap, but I think they are pretty good. They come frozen and you place them in your fridge to thaw. I do think they recommend you eat them within 24 hours. They also do carry mochi ice cream too, but I could not these since they would have melted. I have had mochi ice cream before but not from here, I'll be coming back to try at some point in time. We did try special peach jelly mochies (packaged), they were indeed good but for the price of them, I do not think I'd get them again. (mochi on the outside was incredibly soft especially for it being packaged) Service: 5/5 Ambiance 4/5 Food: 4/5
