Fauxstess Cupcake
Courtney S.

Because this is located in the Foundry, you can find parking in the garage nearby when it's not so busy. Otherwise, I recommend parking on Forest Park. I am already a supporter of Sweet Art Cafe when they had their flagship location in South City. Since I was in the Foundry, I wanted to check out their second location. I love the digital menu on the wall. It makes things easier than trying to stare above the workers' head all the time. I ended up with two minis (Throwback Burger) with fries and ordered a side of herbal tea (not pictured). The fries were hot, seasoned and even more delicious with the vegan ranch dipping sauce. I also ordered a Fauxstess Cupcake and Chocolate Chip Cookie for my visit this go-around. I love that they are in the Foundry too, so that I can spread out and eat at any of the empty tables in the food hall and can walk around/shop/be entertained before or after.

I utilized the offer to get two sandwiches (I got the filet no fish and the buffalo chickn), a side and a drink for $19.95. It was so filling and SO delicious! Cannot recommend that order enough. If you have room for dessert, the Fauxstess is my absolutely favorite!

Caramel pound cake

This cake will bless you! It's moist and sweet but not too sweet. The caramel on top is a frosting consistency and just goes so perfectly with the cake. It can get a bit crumbly but I'm assuming because there isn't any egg. I've had other baked goods here as well and it never disappoints! I plan to come back and try the food. The service is always friendly and inviting.

Yes to this vegan business being at the City Foundry Food Hall. This is order at the counter and pay upfront. Staff behind the counter were polite and provided good customer service. I made sure I stopped by this Friday afternoon before rush hour & lucky me I was able to secure two of their delicious vegan cookies: Chocolate chip & other cookie is lemon blueberry. I also purchased a gluten free birthday cake cupcake which I devoured before realizing I did not take the picture. Can tell just from eating the different desserts they are truly prepared with love. Always a treat for me when I get a chance to visit Sweet Art Too. I now need to visit the new Sweet Art location on Lindell Ave.

I absolutely love sweetheart, and have been supporting them since Covid. I do like how this location had sliders. My friend and I were able to get One order two different sandwiches and be able to enjoy everything! They are of course stellar. The food was amazing and the person that was at the cashier was friendly impatient. Definitely can't wait to go back to the city and get some more!

This place was soooo good!!! And the Food Hall at The Foundry was so cool, with lots of options. I'm so glad I found Sweet Art Too, with the best vegan sliders ever!!!! There were 4 options of sliders and you can get 3 different sliders with fries. So you can try more the just one. So delicious! Highly highly recommend if you're looking for a good vegan burger place! So happy I found this place!

Caramel Cake Slice

I'm not a Vegan, but I've heard so many great things about Sweet Art, I had to try something. Sooo, I tried dessert! Definitely a great choice. The Caramel Cake in the display case was hard to pass up, so grabbed a slice. Super moist Cake, flavors were there. Not overly sweet. All I needed was a glass of milk. Lol.

I always loved the original SweetArt so when they opened closer to me I had to check it out!! The food is definitely the same and great! The service is really nice but they recently opened so give them some time if the line is long. Of course it's in the foundry so plenty of places to sit. The sandwiches were great, fries were seasoned and crunchy and love the lemonade they had as well.

Two vegan chicken sandwiches, the Audre (right) and the Zora (left), if I recall correctly! Tasty!

We visited during their soft opening at the Foundry and got some of their "chick'n" sandwiches, fries, and cauliflower -- all of which was great! I LOVED THE CAULIFLOWER, although next time I'll choose a different sauce. (I got the 'bang bang' sauce which is sweet and salty, it was good, but next time I think I'll choose their ranch or buffalo or both). The cauliflower is battered and deep fried and the end result is sooooo crispy and yet the inside cauliflower was perfect not mushy but not raw! Will get these every time, personally! The fries were awesome, wavy cut and crispy, with a very tasty seasoning powder. I actually dipped my cauliflower in with the fries to swipe some of the seasonings there, it was really good. The chicken sandwiches were pretty good. Buns good, sauce, pickles etc good. The chicken (again, all plant based, not real chicken) had the same amazing crunchy coating on it as the cauliflower, and the inside was moist and tender. Really not bad at all for vegan chicken, I would definitely order them again. I'm so glad Sweetart Too is open at the foundry now. I am not vegan, but I eat dairy free very often due to lactose intolerance so I love finding good vegan food. As an omnivore eater I can say that all of this vegan food is amazing and absolutely on par with it's non-vegan counterparts. Lastly, we also got a strawberry lemonade cookie (super tasty) and some gluten free tiramisu cupcakes (i personally did not like these, but my (omnivore) friend adored them and took the rest of mine for himself!). I'm very curious to try more of their desserts!! Give this place a try!

The location is in the dark back left corner when walking into the food hall. Friendly employees, love talking with Ms. Janae. The food was good. I really love the kale salad! I'm on my working out kick so no sweets but I have tried the desserts at their other location, can't go wrong with any sweet choice you're craving. Give them a try even if you aren't vegan!

I loved how varied the menu was and how easy it was to interpret (i.e., burgers, tacos, salads, etc.). The tacos were delicious, and the fish sliders had a great crunch to them. My favorite was the sweet potato fries! The service was great. I really admire how the owner was attentive to us, and I was really impressed that he was the person doing all the cooking! The raspberry lemonade was sooo yummy; you could tell it was freshly made. S.O.P. is located inside of Urban Eats. This was my first time visiting, and I find it very admirable that the restaurants are owned by local restaurant entrepreneurs. I will be back! It felt like home and a real community. PLEASE VISIT! As someone who used to pass on vegan food, I was very happy that this tasted like a regular burger. The only issue I had was the bun was ashy and should have been toasted or warmed up a bit at least. Never just throw a store bought bun on there without greasing her up. The menu had a variety of items, and they also sell tacos. The sweet potato fries were also really, really delicious. They were cooked well, not too mushy and not too firm. It was slow when I went so my order came out quickly. The owner was pleasant and brought my food to me. I will return when I'm out that way again.

I love all the fresh, healthy and raw ingredient options they have. I ordered the original Reuben and it was so good, the sauerkraut sauce was full of flavor. My partner got the Malibu Melt and mentioned it was full of flavor but a little dry and maybe needed some more sauce. It is a small quaint little place, walk up to order and seat yourself. They close at 7 so if you're trying to go for dinner you better get in early! The employees were really nice and even let us try a chocolate chip cookie which was soo good. After going to Seedz you will want to make it a regular stop for some of the best vegan food in Missouri! I will share my rating of their vegan pizza on a later post, meanwhile, I recommend you try it for yourself.

She was very pleasant and kind throughout our entire experience. The dining room is so cute, and there is plenty of seating. I got the chick'n tikka wrap with fries and a mango milkshake. I enjoyed my wrap, the sauce was amazing. The fries were delicious, too. They let you pick the seasoning level which I thought was very nice- they were perfect. The star was the mango milkshake- a bit pricey for being so small at $9.99, but it was so delicious and perfectly sweet. I'm still craving it now a few days later. My friends got the Dubai Chocolate milkshake and we are begging for it to be apart of the permanent menu! It was so good and had nice little crunchy pieces inside. If you're looking for vegan food, definitely check this out! However, if you aren't vegan like myself, I would still highly recommend. I will definitely return in the future.

Big plus is being able to see the food and know what to expect, ain't with a description. For someone who is indecisive, like me, It made deciding what to order much easier! Pro: vegan ingredients that don't lack in flavor, they serve beer/cider, had their own kombucha, vegan ice cream/soft serve, and it's an environmentally conscious restaurant Con: display case of desserts but the ooey gooey butter cake (vegan) had mold on top of it, tofu dish was luke warm, and there was minimal/if any full front of house staff so people had to ding a bell to get their attention (which can become a bit irritating for dinning in customers) Would like to try again, but will probably stick to the lions mane crab rangoon wontons and a shake or soft serve dish.

One of the girls from my running group swears by this place. She's in here every few days. She…read moremight be crazy. I'd never heard of it, and I may have never visited, if it weren't for the fact that I was meeting a group here. I'm against both cultural appropriation and food that doesn't have any meat in it. There are no vegan Mexican restaurants in Mexico, right? Do they refer to regular Mexican restaurants as Mexican restaurants, or just restaurants? I've often wondered the same thing about Chinese restaurants in China. Certainly, they don't call them what we call them here. I don't even think they do that elsewhere in the US. Terror Tacos has tables named after horror films and a QR code-based ordering system. I was lucky that my group selected a table named after the Lost Boys, a staple of my childhood. Death by stereo! I've seen old people get up and leave restaurants because they preferred not to order via QR code, or they couldn't figure it out. It's a testament to Terror Tacos uncompromising nature that they employ such a system. I mean, if you couldn't already tell that from the decor. I briefly considered seeing if they had any real meat in the back they could put in my tacos, then decided I'd better not. Old people might consider dining elsewhere anyway, for the protein. Apparently, there's a pizza place across the street that also doesn't serve meat. On my run, in the neighboring streets, I saw several people kinda stooped over. Was it the vegan food, or the drugs, or a little bit of both? I kid Terror Tacos, but this was honestly great. In a few cases, I could hardly tell I was eating fake meat. Some of the meat substitutes were obviously not real, but still not half bad for what they were. If they used these same recipes with actual meat, they'd have a line down the block and around the corner, as if they were selling especially potent heroin. You can get tacos in a flight, like at a winery, and if you order at least five of them each one is discounted. Five is probably more than most people need, but not anything I couldn't handle. When I mentioned that I ordered five tacos, members of my group were shocked and concerned. It's that kind of group. They use a lot of go containers, which I'd oppose philosophically even if I needed them. An obvious standout was the Basic Witch, basically their version of one of the regular crunchy tacos at Taco Bell. It's surprisingly similar, but more hefty. It'll run you, but it's the cheapest of the tacos on offer here, and if you get five of them, they knock a couple of dollars off. If I return, which of course would only be because I was meeting someone, I might do just that. The other ones were pretty good too. I appreciated some of the other fake-meat options because they were spicier, but I didn't care for the texture as much on the ones that were meant to resemble whole cuts of meat, like a steak. The guy who brought them out pointed to each one and said what they were, but I immediately forgot. I know I had the Citrus Mistress, the Cowboy from Hell and a Quesabirria. Anyway, individual names are less important when it's all just ground up agricultural byproduct, soy and various other things RFK Jr almost certainly wouldn't approve of. The key is that they've somehow gotten it all to taste not half bad. They may have made a deal with the devil.

We went during the day so it wasn't busy at all! Plenty of open seating options and and each table is themed! We stayed at the Beetlejuice table. My quesabirria taco was okay, I wasn't crazy about the "meat". It was a bit sweet for me. I loved the salsa!!! Chips were perfectly crispy, too. The horchata was pretty good, too. I'd come again if I was feeling spooky.
