February 2026-visited by multiple families on a group trip. Sad to report that every piece of candy we purchased was stale and inedible. This included a range of products, eg taffy, gum, fudge, chocolate bars, sour belts, whistle lollipop. The whistle pop was so stale it was discolored and immediately fell apart into pieces. We visited on a rainy day and enjoyed the thrill of so many choices and were beyond disappointed when every item was inedible. If it hadn't been a rainy day I probably would have immediately returned to voice this disappointment in person. While the shopping experience was fun, buyer beware. read more

A very impressive amount of candy and soda, a lot of it rarely, if ever found in stores. In addition to rare chocolate bars there's bags you fill yourself and are sold by the pound. Price is above retail but that's understandable considering the rarity of the products. read more

What a unique shop! They have hundreds and hundreds of unique sodas. Every possible type of candy is there. Including nostalgic candy. They have candy from various countries including Disney Japan. The staff was extremely helpful. When we first arrived, it was only the 3 of us. Eventually more people came in and it did feel a little overcrowded. Its was hard sometimes to actually look at stuff and enjoy what they had. I can't imagine them at a bigger location though because the store fit the theme of an old time candy store. The prices are a little crazy. Some sodas are $2.99 and others were about $7. Be careful what you're buying and the prices. read more

THANKS, Maddi, you rock. I walked through many small specialty stores searching for a RUBBER DUCK (it's a Jeep thing) and finally found them in their front window en masse and so, bought a half dozen. Every themed duck you can imagine. The store has all these old & new candy options, soda bottles and drinks, even fudge. Jars and bins of anything sweet imaginable. A parking hint: there are a few parking garages situated in town because the meters are linked to a parking APP to pay with card or feed multiple quarters (25 cents for 10 minutes on Carlisle, Baltimore, York and Chambersburg! Love it and will return to buy more goodies. read more

PROS: Want discontinued candy..he has it. Want candy from back when you were a kid...he has it. Want unique candy or regular candy in a weird packaging..he has it. This place has every type of candy in any type of package you want. It's all neatly organized and the prices are good. The place is very clean and the guy is friendly. They also just extended their shop CONS: His location is awful. He is right on the intersection. There is no parking unless you get lucky to find something on the street. OVERALL: Just like the historical sites in Gettysburg, this place is also a must-see. This unique candy store--which you can't even find in major cities, is the best type of candy store to walk into. A fun way to end visiting downtown Gettysburg. This retro style candy store offers every type of candy possible & the prices are easy on your piggy bank pocket change. Do you remember Candy Cigarettes, Mary Janes, Bit-O-Honey & POP Rocks?! As a child, I use to go to our neighborhood Corner Store to pick out my favorites & bring home as much as I could carry. This shop has just about every candy you can think of from the past three decades -- jawbreakers, Mamba, Tic Tacs, licorice, gummy worms, taffy, and so much more. The variety is really nice and nostalgic for us kids at heart. It's a small shop, and it gets a lot of traffic, so it's impossible to social distance inside. The staff wore masks but the customers were a mixed bag -- some wore them, some had their noses hanging out, others pulled their masks down as chin guards. So we didn't stick around, and instead my daughter got her sugar fix at Sheetz. Would be interested in checking it out again next time - maybe a different time of day would help to avoid a crowd. read more

HOLY COW ! WHAT A COOL PLACE TO GO !&@! All the candy from when you were a kid plus all the new stuff your kids love. It's a cute store with interesting variety. I bought some candy for my grand daughter for Christmas. Very expensive. Think Godiva prices for drug store candy. One of the things I bought was a box of Good and Plenty (for me). So stale I nearly broke a tooth. I am sort of surprised it is still in business. No parking near by. Sweeet! is really a sweet candy shop! They have such a wide variety of not only candy, but retro items like classic lunchboxes, classic Batman collectibles and so much more! The taffy is okay, it doesn't really taste like what the flavor says, but more like the paper it's in, but other than that I give the place a 9/10! read more

If you like candy, this place is definitely worth a visit! They have a plethora of salt water taffy, plus many other candies to choose from. I stocked up on taffy, all the black licorice things I could find, and tootsie rolls. I do wish they sold large cinnamon flavored gummy bears, but maybe they do and I missed them. Made a trip to Gettysburg while waiting for seats at another establishment. My friend and I ventured around downtown and came upon this place. I love retro candy shops. This one even had a soda cooler in the back. They had everything you'd want. It was a hot day so I grabbed a cheerwine to enjoy. My friend got some candy that you can't really find around here. My only complaint is that there isn't a store like this near me. Everything you could crave is here. Their selection of new and old candies are great. Their soda assortment is incredible with every flavor you could imagine (even some strange ones). The man working there (not sure if owner) was very nice and helpful, and funny.
