They started my room at 130º, but you can adjust this to what feels right for you. Once you start the time anc are in the booth you can relax. Just sit back and watch tv and relax. I had a good sweat going on during my session. Afterward, the eucalyptus cold towel was a nice touch and a nice way to cool down. I will likely go back. I can see how amazing this would be on a winter day, where you just need to get some of the bad out.

You can also watch TV if you choose. You are given towels and a cool eucalyptus washcloth to use after the session. I always leave very refreshed and can't wait for my next session. Brining guests is a complete hassle and you're charged a non refundable fee of $25 if life changes happen and you don't come with a guest that day. On several occasions I was denied guests even tho it was well before the required 24hour application to request them. On multiple occasions my requests were completely ignored and went unreported to even if they were placed 72hours in advance. I was frequently traveling to KC for work and sports only to be hassled when my wife visited from LA stating that I reached my cap for local guest passes (mind you, she lives in California full time and would visit me about once or twice a month for a weekend) 3. Steam room in women's bathroom is utterly disgusting and wasn't cleaned since I was there over a several month period, how'd I know? The dirt streaks and giant clump of hair that just remained of the floor for over 6months 4. Coming from Los Angeles and the Heimat gym where I pay $350/month, I was excited to try this gym... but this gym is clearly nothing but a wanna-be elite gym. The best part of this place is the flavored water in the women's locker room- And maybe the pools in the summer but good luck finding parking 5. Looking to bring up an issue with the staff and escalate it? Don't worry, they're happy to ignore you. Trust me, you're not gonna miss this place. Only thing it's memorable for is being complicated while trying to use its perks and over complicated. The 2 stars are for the water and the equipment. The cleaning staff is super nice tho!

If we had that room the whole time, they should've given us the snack at the beginning so we had the whole time to eat it.. we each had at least two services. I had the massage and it was very average. The lady didn't know where my trigger points were at all and was just massaging with no regard for my personal trigger points. Then when I laid face up, she put a wet warm towel on my face and by the end of it, it was cold and felt like gross wet towel on my face. Also that evening, I had red bumps all over my face. And she completely fucked up my neck. She had no idea where trigger points in my neck were either and was just pushing way too hard on all the wrong spots. It was not great. The sauna can fit two people and you could get on YouTube and play whatever music you like. Which was nice. But I don't see the benefit in the sauna at all. Very odd. Anyways, the other girls seemed to enjoy their services for the most part so at least that's a plus. But I will definitely not be coming back.

We ultimately kept our Sunlighten Amplify sauna after it arrived with freight damage and reached a…read morepartial resolution with the company. The sauna itself is beautiful and functions well, which is why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1. That said, the customer service experience was far more difficult than expected for a premium product at this price point. The unit arrived with a damaged crate and visible cosmetic damage to the wood. Communication regarding the freight claim was inconsistent, follow-up was slow, and at times I had to repeatedly reach out for updates after being told tickets would be submitted. They only chose to respond after I contacted my credit card company. Sunlighten eventually offered partial compensation instead of panel replacement, which we accepted to avoid having to disassemble the unit ourselves. However, even after the resolution, communication dropped off entirely. Small details that were promised as part of the resolution were incomplete, which unfortunately reinforced the feeling that customer support became less responsive once the sale was finalized. I still believe the product itself is high quality, but based on my experience, prospective buyers should be aware that if there is a delivery or freight issue, the resolution process may require persistence and patience.

Horrible experience review continued…read more i was surprised that someone responded so quickly to my public review regarding my extremely poor, unsafe and disappointing purchase of the Sunlighten sauna. In the response to my review they posed as being concerned and wanting to work this out and posted that they were going to send me a private message, which they did. I chose to respond to their private message on July 1st and thought I would give them another opportunity to try and make sense of this mess for me. It will be two weeks tomorrow and I have not heard one word from them. I stand by my negative experience and review and do not recommend that anyone ever purchases a Sunlighten Sauna.
