It is…read morevery addictive; I find myself getting out there early in the morning no matter what the weather is like. It's an excellent start to the day. Even though you'd think you'd be tired, you actually wind up having more energy for your day at work. Although the exercises can be difficult, Joanna makes sure that you are (i) doing them correctly with good form so you don't hurt yourself, and (ii) that you are working at a level comfortable for yourself. Thus, even though it's a boot camp and there are many good people that attend, you don't feel left out because Joanna will custom tailor the workout to your level. That being said, I feel like I've come a long way and can now do many of the more difficult exercises despite my asthma. I highly recommend Bodiesynergy! You won't regret it!

As I am new to the Slope, I am excited to have Joanna in my backyard for my workouts. Once I settle in, I plan on attending her bootcamps more often. She has a wonderful, genuine personality and really knows how the body functions and what muscles we should be working on. I highly recommend taking one of her classes! Plus, it's in gorgeous Prospect Park so you have a gorgeous environment to workout in!

Welcoming, thoughtful, and dedicated coaches, team, and owner-- highly recommend…read more Looking in from the outside, the workouts can admittedly feel intimidating at first, especially for non-athletes (like me). But if you can get past the newness and unfamiliarity, the challenge is well worth it. The workouts and community have an engaging sense of camaraderie, structure, and challenge that keeps each session interesting and effective. I have found that by challenging myself in this way, my confidence to face challenges has expanded into areas outside of workouts as well. There is no pressure to join, which I appreciated, and no obligation to socialize (though opportunities are there if you want them). The studio offers a sense of community with familiar, friendly faces that makes workouts accessible and, frankly, fun. I have been going for about 6+ months and befriended kettlebells, sleds, and Ski and RowERGs-- and have seen significant improvements in strength and energy. It has been a great complement to yoga and Pilates. The variation in daily workouts (resistance training, cardio, and hybrid days), which are easy to preview on the app ahead of time, paired with upbeat music--and often a DJ on Saturdays-- makes the time go by quickly. Being able to track progress using their InBody scan has also been a key motivator. The space is bright, modern, clean, and sunlit with large windows. Most importantly, the coaches and team are attentive. They are encouraging and supportive throughout the process. I have been to other F45 locations in other states and can confidently say that the coaches at this location are truly excellent-- professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful.

Over the past seven years, as I've moved to different neighborhoods, I've been to five F45 studios…read morein Brooklyn and Manhattan, and this was by far my worst experience. It's too bad because the facility is excellent and the trainers are fine, but all other F45 gyms have passionate owners and support staff who genuinely want you to succeed. This one was all about taking your money. On top of that, they do a sloppy job, double-charging for weekly passes and fees. What finally turned me away for good was after dealing with Yuliya over email and the phone to try to correct a double billing mistake. She was abrasive, defensive, and rude (at best) even though she had obviously made a mistake. Horrible customer service. If you are trying to decide between F45 studios, look at any of the other three in Brooklyn. It's worth a short commute to avoid this one.

I was looking for a high-intensity workout experience. Well, I found it! Kim and Luke are now the owners (or part owners) of this branch. Kim is a fabulous coach as well as Aaron, Gerrit, Sidney (and others I know less well). I find the class experience motivating and fast paced. During the class the coaches go by you as you are doing a particular movement and give you great tips to maximize what you are doing. The exercises accommodate people from all different fitness levels, from novices to people who are seasoned athletes. Here's what's happened to me: I now have lower body fat, much more endurance, better posture and, best of all, I am now sleeping more deeply --- like when I was young. This is all in six weeks' time. And, BTW, I am the oldest person in these classes: in a few weeks I will be 71. I feel decades younger.

I first came in because of an offer for a first class free. My rep showed me how everything worked, including the heartbeat monitor on the arm band, which they give you for free on your first visit. An instructor walked me around the studio explaining the class format and made sure I was comfortable with water and a towel. When class started he periodically checked in with me but was not overbearing. I loved how while everyone worked out individually, seeing everyone's stats on the screen did make it feel like a team effort. I really appreciated learning about the different heart rate "zones" and later did research on this when I got home. My sales rep explained the pricing tiers yet was not pushy which I appreciated and I signed up within the week. The app made it very easy to book, see stats, etc. The club has fun challenges each month and really does have a sense of community. It was always clean and you can tell instructors here really care about the members. I only quit because I ended up moving to another neighborhood but this gym truly did change my physique while I was a member, making me stronger and noticeably had an impact on my cardio endurance. I'd recommend this gym to anyone.

The classes keep me on track, and I'm seeing real results. I never, ever thought I'd be someone who enjoys jogging on a treadmill, but now I actually look forward to it. Coach Maddy brings great energy and creative themed classes. I love Coach Frankie's music picks--they make early morning workouts go by faster. And Coach Nai has a great way of offering helpful tips without making anything feel awkward. Luke is always so welcoming at the front desk. This location stands out for its thoughtful amenities: they offer gym and shower towels and a full locker room--something you don't always find at other storefront studios. OTF Park Slope is also a fun way to meet more people in the neighborhood, and the Instagram shout-outs add a nice touch of motivation. I hope corporate OTF will upgrade the app and the fitness band to more modern tech - I'd love AI analysis of my stats. I recommend Orangetheory Park Slope to anyone looking for a fresh, encouraging way to get into fitness.
