Classes rotate through different stations with equipment like dumbbells, rowers, and resistance bands, keeping every session fresh and challenging. The instructors guide you through each move and offer modifications so you can push yourself safely, no matter your fitness level. I've been working on getting back into a consistent routine, and Grit60 has honestly been a huge part of that. Workouts are tough, but I feel so good afterwards -- energized and proud of myself. Will and Jess are my favorite instructors hands‑down. They bring so much positive energy, actually coach you through the moves, and the music they play is great. If you want a workout that keeps you accountable, pushes you in the right way, and keeps things fresh, Grit60 Plantation is worth it. I look forward to every class!

Finding the perfect gym, that motivates you and feels like home is rare. I've searched high and…read morelow; and I finally found it at Tapout Fitness. Tucked in a small Publix plaza, Tapout Fitness offers premiere martial-arts infused workouts with highly trained coaches and trainers. If the name Tapout sounds familiar, it's because Tapout Fitness is an extension of the Tapout clothing brand, that officially sponsors combat sport fighters in UFC and WWE. Personally, as a lover of MMA and UFC, I was immediately impressed. Unlike other kickboxing/boxing style gyms, Tapout Fitness is truly focused on teaching proper techniques of each fighting style. Each trainer has extensive martial arts experience and tailor makes workouts that professional fighters practice with all the time. Some workouts are fully focused on kickboxing combinations and techniques, while others also include resistance and interval training exercises with battle ropes and kettle bells. So regardless of your fitness level, you're still getting an amazing workout. On the days I feel like going solo and working at my own pace, I really enjoy the Tapout 20 circuit workouts. Although, they're promoted like a 20 minute workout, I usually triple it for an extra sweat factor. Tapout Fitness literally fulfills everything I ever wanted in a gym and I couldn't recommend it more! I love it here!

I am beyond late with hopping on the OTF band wagon, partially because of the pandemic, but…read morehonestly because I'm just lazy. Even though it took me awhile, I'm 100% happy that I finally jumped the gun and joined. If you've never heard or seen OTF, it's about an hour work out class that mixes together cardio and weight training. Everyday day is different in regards to the work out but it always incorporates running on the treadmill (or bike/elliptical), the rower, and then the weight room. They have cubbies and lockers to leave your keys or purse in, a couples of bathrooms, a water fountain to refill your water bottle, and most importantly sanitizing wipes to wipe in between switching machinery/stations during the class because no to germs. I originally signed up for a free week trial and afterwards signed up for Orange Premier which provides me with unlimited classes. It's the most expensive one, but it's also worth it (about $170 a month). Separate from the monthly membership price you can also buy an OTF band (heart monitor) which you put on your arm and it reads your heart rate during class and shows what "zone" you're in depending on your HR. I've compared it with my Apple Watch and it's almost always the same in the amount of calories burned, so it doesn't really matter if you buy it or not as long as you have a smart watch/fit bit. Another thing is that I specifically love this location and the coaches here, a couple of years ago (pre pandemic) I did a free one day trial at the Pembroke Pines location and was not fond of their coach that day at all. My absolute favorites are Carl, he's nice, personable, and down right inspiring and motivating. He always finds the right words to say to help push you when you need that little extra help to finish the block. Then there's Nikki, she's a sweet heart and just as motivating as Carl. I always try to schedule my classes whenever it's them. So if you're looking for a place that will make you leave dripping in sweat and feeling accomplished, you've found it!

They have dynamic pricing for their starts-every-10 minutes workouts with the super early peak 5am-7am slots being over 10 credits each (over $22). But their off peak workouts can go as low as 4 credits each ($8-9). Perhaps because it's new, the studio is sparkling and bright with two of its walls being completely glass windows. The equipment is a pleasure to use, since it hasn't been worn out. The foam pads for resting arms during plank exercises are plush, the sandbags haven't been broken in the middle and have intact sturdy handles, and the medicine balls don't have threads sticking out or about to open stitching. This makes it easy to focus on decoding the movements on the screen in each station and doing them 3 times each. Plus, like each Sweat440, they have towels available to use! My sweaty self thanks them. Each workout for the day has a focus on lower body, upper body, core and cardio or total body. 4 stations for 40 minutes in total with a minute between each station and starting every 10 minutes means you will be able to get the workout in, with no excuses. The movements are shown on a screen at each station, so you don't waste any time asking someone what the next movement is. It does mean you have to grasp the movement in 30 seconds and go when the buzzer goes off, but there is always a trainer going around on the floor if you need to ask for clarification. The only thing you have to think a little more about is how heavy a weight you want to use for the next movement. There will be 10, 25, 45 pound free barbell weights available for something like a goblet squat or squat press, and there will be a full rack of free weights to do something like chest presses, renegade rows or Romanian deadlifts. It's up to you to decide how heavy you want to go, but it's good to start light since you'll be doing it for two more rounds. What I like with this location is that I've always seen at least two trainers present, one at the check in desk and one on the floor cheering and correcting form. It means if you have an issue with your account or a question, you don't have to wait for the trainer to come off the floor to address it. I jammed and skinned a finger in the weight rack once and was able to get a trainer to give me a bandage for my bloody finger right away. The location is great in the heart of downtown Miami Lakes, where a lot of restaurants and shops have been coming up. If you're in the area, I definitely suggest you check this studio out and get your sweat in!

My boyfriend and I joined CrossFit Siege in August and I wanted to write a review right away…read morebecause I was so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful and welcoming this gym was. I decided to put it off because I like to make sure a business establishment is really good before I write or post anything about it. My opinion about this gym has not wavered in these past few months. If anything, I am more and more grateful every day that I found and joined CrossFit Siege because I feel like it has been life changing for me. I feel happier, stronger and more energized. When I was researching CrossFit, I sent emails and called some gyms by my apartment, but nobody ever responded or picked up the phone. So I went to CrossFit Siege because I saw that they had a class for beginners and I wanted to try it. I had no intentions of signing up, but that class was super informative and fun. It made me feel like I, a person who is old; overweight; and does not work out, could do this! So I signed up. I am glad they require new members to attend the beginner classes for a week because it gave me the confidence that I was lacking to start working out. The WODs are really fun and challenging and coaches here are spectacular. They are very nice, knowledgeable and motivating, especially Mig! She is always giving helpful feedback on different ways that I can improve. Also, it really feels like they care about their members. One of the coaches, Justin, always goes around before every workout to make sure everybody is good. It's a very small gesture, but it makes me feel like we are more than just clients here. My boyfriend had mentioned that he has lower back pains when we first started and it surprises me that the coaches remember this. Especially since there are a ton of members here. The people who attend this gym are also very nice and helpful. I always thought that it would be intimidating to be around people who are really fit, but there is a vast variety of people here. Each of them all very kind and encouraging. I have considered switching gyms since there are CrossFit gyms closer to our apartment, but I honestly do not think any other gym can compare. My boyfriend loves Siege so much that he suggested we should move closer to the gym.

Hands down the best box in South Broward! Prior to joining Siege I researched several boxes in the…read morearea in hopes of trying to determine which of these would be best for me. My main considerations at the time were price and location, I figured everything else would just come together after I'd settle in at the box. I sent emails to three boxes that are relatively close to each other. I got responses from both Fever and Siege immediately meanwhile Crossfit Storm never replied. I decided to check out a crossfit competition that weekend since I knew both boxes would be competing and i would get a chance to meet some of the coaches, members, etc... Immediately upon arriving at Crush games I seeked both boxes out and noticed Siege was a dominator. In addition to that, I felt the members seemed friendlier. Meanwhile the other box had somewhat of an arrogance to them which I did not care for. I confirmed that once I spoke to a coach who made it clear to me that their box was superior and that "you get what you pay for" when I referenced other boxes having no contract, etc... All in all, the proof is in the pudding. Siege finished top three in this competition showing me it's more like "you get what you put in." That weekend was a deciding factor for me. Not only did they represent their box well at a competition, but they proved themselves over and over again by actions. No frills, no egos, no arrogance. I joined Siege along with a friend who dropped his box to join them as well and neither one of us have regretted that decision. Their schedules are convenient, their coaches are awesome and even though it's not the closest or cheapest box, I also know it's the right one for me. You can say you're the best but I rather you prove it...Siege has done that time and time again. I'm not the fastest or the strongest nor do I have this insane endurance or mental toughness you see exhibited in the crossfit world...but what I can do is waaaay more than I ever imagined doing when I started proving that with the right support system in place, anything is possible.

The first person I met was Kodi & Heather they explained how they take all levels of fitness wether you know or not. You may be intimidated by CrossFit I for sure was. It was a new journey for me. I've dealt with all the coaches there they all are very welcoming and understanding your abilities always willing to teach you something new. They all are very specific on your technique they try their best in to fix any wrong movement you may be doing wrong before you harm yourself. Especially when your new they keep an eye on you often just in case. I personally do the 5 AM classes with Valentin he's always been a very good on hand coach with me he pushes to do better every class even on my bad days. Since I'm mostly with him 4-5 days of the week he keeps me on my toes with my WODs or even with my attendance haha who would think a coach will point out your attendance lol but it's very much appreciated because it shows they actually acknowledge your presence. Heather is this well spirited coach she's different definitely great, when I do afternoon with Heather I always know it's going to be a great WOD because she carries this awesome, welcoming personality she's no where near those trainers you dread. Matter a fact none of the trainers in freakin fitness will make you feel like that you would personally feel like the feeling of going back because the environment as a gym is a amazing. I'm not gonna say CrossFit is easy sure is challenging but totally worth it in freakin fitness. It's a 2nd family environment they do constant events for everyone to share with each other and you eventually make friends with all the people there because of all the events they do. Ahh Kodi for sure is a person you get along with off the bat he is a jokester for sure he'll make your laugh in the middle of your WOD if he sees you struggling trust me he's your cheer person always encouraging the best version of you. Ahh his great. The gym is pretty neat has new equipment, very spacious, very very clean actually. They have the warehouse and outside turf area for when they do workout outside. Parking ability is very spacious as well. They have an pretty decent schedule for WOD classes. They have a smoothie bar if you choose to get a little healthy snack after your workout. They also offer nutrition plans with "freakin nutrition" in order to reach your goals they will give you a specific plan for you to get where you want to be. They have a shop to for equipment/clothing/protein snacks/ energy drinks/ water and etc. Freakin CrossFit is a pretty impressive gym. 4 months consist for sure more to come I don't think I'll ever leave freakin.
