They have effectively put an AI wall between customers and anyone who can actually help. Nobody answers the phone because their AI system refuses to connect you to a human. Their email system is also automated and provides a limited selection of useless responses that do not resolve the issue. You would think walking into the actual location would solve the problem. Nope. Staff members on site claim they are not "authorized" to cancel memberships either. Apparently, you are forced right back into the same ridiculous automated system. I blocked their recurring charge with my bank TWICE because I no longer wanted to be charged. Now I received an "authorization" through Stripe that I never agreed to and never signed. At this point, this has gone far beyond bad customer service. Making it incredibly easy to take someone's money while making it ridiculously difficult to stop taking it is completely unacceptable. Be VERY careful before giving this business your payment information or signing up for a membership. Based on my experience, getting out is infinitely harder than getting in. I would never do business with this place again.

Make sure to bring your water and a towel. The work out starts with a 2 lap outside run, then mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 squats, and end with mile run. The music was jamming and up beat. You can go at your own pace. It was such a fun and powerful experience.

I've been to this Tuluka Fitness 3 times to work out since finding it on ClassPass. The drop in…read moreclasses on ClassPass cost fewer credits than a lot of other gyms, so it was easy to decide to try it out. (I think the memberships cost over $200 a month even with new member promotions, so you have to really like the gym and really have the money to spend in order to get yourself a membership.) There is a parking lot behind the gym and a garage across the street where you can park if it's full. The selling point on the workouts here is that you can choose to work upper or lower body in one of the sections, kind of like a choose your own sweaty adventure. You start with a warmup, do the upper or lower body sub workout, do an abs sub workout, then do the workout of the day (WOD). That last part may remind you of Crossfit workouts, and their workouts indeed have Crossfit elements to them. The workout of the day includes a set of cardio with your choice of runs on the treadmill, pull downs on the ski erg, cycling on the assault bike or ergs on the rower. We did box jumps the first time I worked out here, but the trainer always asks you to let them know if you have any injuries or concerns with any of the movements and they can modify for you. I waited to go a couple more times after my first workout because I went through that first one largely annoyed. The trainer spoke Spanish for the majority of the time and lost any pleasantry when she turned to speak to me for corrections or the equipment to use. While a little kudos here and there would be motivating, she had little energy and said nothing encouraging. It felt like a cluster for a moment because there were 10 people (for a 6 AM workout) needing to use the same equipment for the WOD (like the boxes), so we needed to start the round at different sets. The other aspect of the workouts that reminds me of Crossfit is that the rounds can be repetitive, especially because you have to count reps constantly. Each sub workout consists of 3 rounds. The last time I went a few days ago, the trainer (a new one for me) told us to do each set within the sub workout 3 times before moving onto the next set, instead of doing each kind of set once and going through them 3 times. Either way, it's on you to count how many reps you do and and keep track of how many sets and rounds you've done and finish them within the allotted time (usually 10-12 minutes). The trainer leads you through a stretch at the end to cool down. What's great and torturous about the workouts is that they will take an hour from start to stretching finish. While many other studios and workouts promise a certain time like 45 or 50 minutes, I find myself sometimes coming out of the studio earlier than that time frame. You know you'll get the most out of the time you spend at this gym. It's a bonus that they lend towels to use during the workouts, because you will need one!

I originally got interested in boxing by trying out some workouts at 9-Round but I wanted to learn some better technique. Boy i didn't know how much I didn't know until I started at The Gym Boxing. Marty is an amazing guy - super friendly but incredibly knowledgeable. He has trained many professional athletes so he knows his stuff. He really focuses on technique and I feel I have learned a ton in the past year. I even had a one on one training session with him and it was awesome. The cardio classes here are fun and intense. They are definitely an awesome workout as I feel pretty spent after each session. There are people of all levels in the class and absolutely no judgement on beginners. There are many regulars that have been coming for years and everyone is very friendly. Overall if you are thinking about boxing or just getting in shape, I highly recommend The GYM Boxing as it has been awesome.

I decided to put it off because I like to make sure a business establishment is really good before I write or post anything about it. My opinion about this gym has not wavered in these past few months. If anything, I am more and more grateful every day that I found and joined CrossFit Siege because I feel like it has been life changing for me. I feel happier, stronger and more energized. When I was researching CrossFit, I sent emails and called some gyms by my apartment, but nobody ever responded or picked up the phone. So I went to CrossFit Siege because I saw that they had a class for beginners and I wanted to try it. I had no intentions of signing up, but that class was super informative and fun. It made me feel like I, a person who is old; overweight; and does not work out, could do this! So I signed up. I am glad they require new members to attend the beginner classes for a week because it gave me the confidence that I was lacking to start working out. The WODs are really fun and challenging and coaches here are spectacular. They are very nice, knowledgeable and motivating, especially Mig! She is always giving helpful feedback on different ways that I can improve. Also, it really feels like they care about their members. One of the coaches, Justin, always goes around before every workout to make sure everybody is good. It's a very small gesture, but it makes me feel like we are more than just clients here. My boyfriend had mentioned that he has lower back pains when we first started and it surprises me that the coaches remember this. Especially since there are a ton of members here. The people who attend this gym are also very nice and helpful. I always thought that it would be intimidating to be around people who are really fit, but there is a vast variety of people here. Each of them all very kind and encouraging. I have considered switching gyms since there are CrossFit gyms closer to our apartment, but I honestly do not think any other gym can compare. My boyfriend loves Siege so much that he suggested we should move closer to the gym.

My main considerations at the time were price and location, I figured everything else would just come together after I'd settle in at the box. I sent emails to three boxes that are relatively close to each other. I got responses from both Fever and Siege immediately meanwhile Crossfit Storm never replied. I decided to check out a crossfit competition that weekend since I knew both boxes would be competing and i would get a chance to meet some of the coaches, members, etc... Immediately upon arriving at Crush games I seeked both boxes out and noticed Siege was a dominator. In addition to that, I felt the members seemed friendlier. Meanwhile the other box had somewhat of an arrogance to them which I did not care for. I confirmed that once I spoke to a coach who made it clear to me that their box was superior and that "you get what you pay for" when I referenced other boxes having no contract, etc... All in all, the proof is in the pudding. Siege finished top three in this competition showing me it's more like "you get what you put in." That weekend was a deciding factor for me. Not only did they represent their box well at a competition, but they proved themselves over and over again by actions. No frills, no egos, no arrogance. I joined Siege along with a friend who dropped his box to join them as well and neither one of us have regretted that decision. Their schedules are convenient, their coaches are awesome and even though it's not the closest or cheapest box, I also know it's the right one for me. You can say you're the best but I rather you prove it...Siege has done that time and time again. I'm not the fastest or the strongest nor do I have this insane endurance or mental toughness you see exhibited in the crossfit world...but what I can do is waaaay more than I ever imagined doing when I started proving that with the right support system in place, anything is possible.

Freakin is like my second home. I started Freakin back in June. I started CrossFit not knowing a…read moreclue how things go. The first person I met was Kodi & Heather they explained how they take all levels of fitness wether you know or not. You may be intimidated by CrossFit I for sure was. It was a new journey for me. I've dealt with all the coaches there they all are very welcoming and understanding your abilities always willing to teach you something new. They all are very specific on your technique they try their best in to fix any wrong movement you may be doing wrong before you harm yourself. Especially when your new they keep an eye on you often just in case. I personally do the 5 AM classes with Valentin he's always been a very good on hand coach with me he pushes to do better every class even on my bad days. Since I'm mostly with him 4-5 days of the week he keeps me on my toes with my WODs or even with my attendance haha who would think a coach will point out your attendance lol but it's very much appreciated because it shows they actually acknowledge your presence. Heather is this well spirited coach she's different definitely great, when I do afternoon with Heather I always know it's going to be a great WOD because she carries this awesome, welcoming personality she's no where near those trainers you dread. Matter a fact none of the trainers in freakin fitness will make you feel like that you would personally feel like the feeling of going back because the environment as a gym is a amazing. I'm not gonna say CrossFit is easy sure is challenging but totally worth it in freakin fitness. It's a 2nd family environment they do constant events for everyone to share with each other and you eventually make friends with all the people there because of all the events they do. Ahh Kodi for sure is a person you get along with off the bat he is a jokester for sure he'll make your laugh in the middle of your WOD if he sees you struggling trust me he's your cheer person always encouraging the best version of you. Ahh his great. The gym is pretty neat has new equipment, very spacious, very very clean actually. They have the warehouse and outside turf area for when they do workout outside. Parking ability is very spacious as well. They have an pretty decent schedule for WOD classes. They have a smoothie bar if you choose to get a little healthy snack after your workout. They also offer nutrition plans with "freakin nutrition" in order to reach your goals they will give you a specific plan for you to get where you want to be. They have a shop to for equipment/clothing/protein snacks/ energy drinks/ water and etc. Freakin CrossFit is a pretty impressive gym. 4 months consist for sure more to come I don't think I'll ever leave freakin.
