Swatch is hitting home runs with their joint ventures, partnering with luxury watch makers. I am a scuba diver so I have been very interested to see the Blancpain Swatch diver watch created a few years ago. These watches are ceramic with automatic movements and designs reflecting each of the 5 major oceans on earth. After much head scratching I went with the Indian ocean. There are other partnerships that are very enticing, including the Moon Swatch. A watch cooperative effort with Omega. Very nice. Don't stop and shop unless your ready to buy. Waited over 5 1/2 hours (was approx 40 in line) for a limited release today, only to be told with two customers ahead that they ran out. Liz the store manager was laughing when she explained they ran out. Her laughter was beyond inappropriate. Liz was rude and showed the lack of empathy. Surprising someone with this lack of experience could be a store manager. They allowed hundreds of people to line up around the entire mall, for less than 40 total watches available? Although Liz was unprofessional, this was driven by corporate policy to allow such crowds to gather and wait hours. Your employees counted the line several times. At what point does it make sense to tell us we have no chance to get a watch? When I asked Liz why they didn't tell us sooner, her response was that she thought most people were waiting hours for batteries so she didn't have any issues letting hundreds of people wait for nothing. Instead, Swatch chose to make us wait and make a spectacle out of the publicity stunt of an event. Do better Swatch. read more

Waited in line for the mission to earthphase moonshine gold for 5.5 hours. Once the store opened it he employees did not notify the people who were waiting in line how much stock was left. They did not make any effort to help people save time. Very disappointed in the way this release was handled. read more

I was in town visiting and happened to go to Mall of America because it's the biggest mall in the US. I walked by the Swatch store and saw a line of 5-6 people inside waiting to pay. I figured maybe it's worth asking if they have the MoonSwatch and they did! They told me they had one Venus (pink) left and a few of the Sun (yellow). I got the last Venus and was on my way. They told me they had just received shipment about an hour before I got there. I was there around 4pm Saturday. I've been to Swatch stores in Houston, Dallas, and New York City and never got a chance to snag one until I came to this location. None of the workers were stuck up or being selective on who they chose to sell the watch to. I actually had a good experience here. Now is the MoonSwatch worth the hype? Not really. It feels super cheap and the plastic scratches easily. However, Swatch stores will buff the plastic and they give you free lifetime battery replacement so that's neat. Is it a cool collectors item? Maybe. These aren't limited editions so just wait until they start stocking them up. read more

Horrible staff, really sketchy.. Let's dive in. Every time I go there the staff is quite rude. And when you ask about MoonSwatches they say "we have to wait for the UPS guy to deliver them". But the problem here is that's all BS. 3 times we went and we watched them when no one is looking to pull it out of the back door. Now, MoonSwatches are very popular pieces. They are kind of fakes of the Moonwatch from Omega but there are fakes of the fake, yea. Fake MoonSwatches are out there. And the demand is at an all time high. So most have to play there stupid game to get these watches. And half the time they are not the one I want. I stopped buying them after all of this. And would not recommend buying a MoonSwatch even. This is such a cute little store in the mall. The folks at the counter had on masks and offered to show us any watch, and cleaned between all viewings. Which I completely understand. They graciously buffed up my watch and reset the time as I am in a different time zone in Arizona. We had a delightful visit since we were the only people in the store at the time. I have been here twice, it's a great store. I liked my second visit as well as the first. I'm sorry yelp won't let me post photos right now, but if you can imagine a pastel rainbow with a pearl coloraziation, you'd see my beautiful new watch. It is heavy on the purple and blues. I had asked about a watch an hour earlier than when I arrived at the location and when I got there they were all sold out they gave me no information about ordering later or was showed other timepieces And when I called later offering my phone and email about being informed when the watch I wanted would come again I was told " I can't do any of that" I left feeling fully disrespected and dismissed by whomever was working. read more

The best watches ever. There are many fashional, sporting and moden styles that match all kind of generation. I love swiss made and movement. The price is affordable and reasonable for the new ones. I found out yesterday that Swatch now has a policy of "free batteries for life"... on any Swatch. As someone with 4 of them, all with dead batteries, all on the older side, this got my interest. Went up there today with 2 of them, asked them how much to replace a battery. "If it's a Swatch, it's free for the life of the watch". I pulled 2 out of my pocket, asked if they could do 2. "Sure!" Not only did they swap the batteries, they also offered to polish the scratches out of the face of one I used to wear every day (it's pretty scratched up, but it's a mid 2000s chronograph model, vs my other 80s-90s plastic ones). Unfortunately I didn't have time to let them do that, but that's pretty great service. The only money I've ever given them was for that chronograph model, and that was over 10 years ago. Great experience overall, and I'm proudly rocking one of my Swatches on my wrist again, for the first time in several years. read more

We will never buy another Swatch!!!! We bought one for our son a little over a month ago from this store. The date on it kept messing up. It would slow down after a couple of days, or even went back to the previous date....odd...yes. Never had that happened or seen that before in my life. So we took it back for an exchange. The lady, the same one sold it to us, said she would have to keep it and watch it over night to prove it. !!!? The watch still looked brand new. Nothing was broken. And why would we make that up? We just wanted the same watch, but a new one that might not have the issue. She said she could not do an exchange and that was their policy. We left with the watch and told her we would never buy anything from them again. Then...she said she would do it for us as a favor. We said no. We were pleasantly surprised in seeing this store while having a less than stellar experience at a movie theater in the same mall. She squealed with excitement and said. "I didnt know they were back!" I said, "I didnt know they ever left..." which was the exact same thing the fun and helpful store clerks said. I have been a Swatch fan for years. I have 7 of them and believe there's always room for another. On November 12th I was in the store getting a few batteries replaced. I asked about an orange Swatch. Laureen (assistant mgr) said they didn't currently have an orange Swatch but she told me about their upcoming Black Friday deal where you could get 3 Swatches all in a particular base color for $75.00 and they had an orange group. She said they were allowing customers the opportunity to reserve a color set BEFORE the sale and would call us they came in. I was sold and asked to be placed on the list. They said I was actually the first person on the list so I would be sure to get a set. Sadly, we never received a call the set was ready for pickup. When we called them, we were given the runaround. My daughter was listed as the person to pick up the set. She went into the store and was given excuse after excuse. Bottom line....no orange set....and they are "looking" for a set for us. I'm not expecting to ever see this set. I have to say this is not the services I ever expected from Swatch. If you are going to offer a customer something then you need to be prepared to deliver on that offer. Making excuses that the store was really buy doesn't cut it. You had a list where items were to be set aside...busy has nothing to do with failing to put product back for customers you have made commitments to. That is very poor customer service. Want a good watch them Swatch is still number 1 for me. I will continue to purchase Swatch watches but will stay away from this store. Box stores are losing sales to Amazon daily and I believe service is a big player. I have already checked Amazon and found an orange Swatch. And amazingly enough their prices are considerably less than the actual store on all their Swatches. Maybe I should thank their poor service for pushing me to look elsewhere for their products and finding a MUCH better price. Good for me, not so good for the store. My dad was in the fine Jewelry business for over 40 years and he first sold Swatch when they came to the states in the mid 80's. I had not had a Swatch since I was a teen. During my Mother's day shopping I wondered into the store in search for a watch for my mom. I was blown away on many levels. When I walked in the store I expected to see a lot of cheap kids watches. I was greeted by two guys who worked there and they were very nice. I told them my history with Swatch and they showed me what Swatch is today. They were so helpful and did not pressure me to buy anything. After a hour in there I got my mom a watch and myself 2 watches. A month later I went back to get the Swatch Club watch and the fully automatic Swatch. I was greeted by two women this time but they were very friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcomed and part of the Swatch family. I would encourage anyone who does not know Swatch or has not had one in years to go in and re-introduce yourself to the brand and the great people who work at this store. I know own several Swatches and get complements all the time from people from all walks of life. read more

You probably have a solid idea about what to expect when venturing in here: fantastic plastic watches, plus some metal ones, and a colorful array of selections, sizes and sights that will make you long for 1983 all over again. So why bother with a review? Because the service here, while always good, has recently tiptoed into "excellent" territory to the point where this avid collector feels compelled to make the multi-city journey here on a more regular basis. Located on the ground floor of the NorthPark mall opposite the open area where families congregate for whatever entertainment is distracting the masses for a handful of minutes, this particular Swatch location is not the biggest one of the bunch. Been to the Swatch Store in Times Square and thought it was quaint compared to the one on the Champs-Elysées in Paris? Both of those are somewhere around seven times the size of this one. There's not a lot of room to maneuver about in this location but you can expect to find the usual staples: originals, irony, flik flak, etc. The fact that we have a Swatch Store in Dallas is reason enough to celebrate, really. But what gets periodically lazy individuals such as myself over to their keyboards and their Yelp profiles is an esteemed level of service. Which brings us to the next point: the team here is wonderful. I brought in 10 Swatches to get (free!) batteries put in them and the duo of Dominic and Tiffany was something to see. Both were professional from start to finish, cranking out new batteries and polish in about the time it took me to write this review. (I'm a fast typer for those of you playing along at home.) Not only that, but they even managed to help me pick up a couple of new items. When you bring in 10 swatches and somehow end up leaving with 12, that's remarkable salesmanship. If for some reason you are opposed to lightheartedness and "fun," a Swatch may not be the best investment for you and your fashion sense. For everyone else, though, it's a great company that consistently cranks out fabulous timepieces year after year. Swatch store in this mall is INCREDIBLY hard to miss. It's right by an art piece and in the corner of the spaces so you always see it. I'd go here time and time and think that the watches were so cute. That's what my 8 year old self likes according to other "adults" around me. Penguins, colorful dots, cat watches, the variety is super colorful. Once I asked some questions about the watches, I caught the lady's attention who was the best. She pointed out some watches that suit me and I ooh and ahhed over the new choices. Finally narrowed it down to 3 but I kept seeing others as well! After a while, which felt like forever, I finally picked one! Guys, this watch was sparkly band and it was a new watch for work! There's no denying that Swatch watches are cool. They're affordable, have fun and colorful designs created by crazy European artists, and they're nostolgic of the '80s - when every kid had one with a scratch protector on their wrist. Okay, but here's where the awsomeness sets in with this store: they buff the faces for you. Got scratches? Forgetaboutit! This mussy-haired teenager totally loved me (it must be my funky glasses) and buffed my watch for free while I looked around. This store carries a lot of what you can find on the Web, but I'd rather look at these fine art pieces in person because some watches have hands that move when you tap the face. For example, here's a watch with bunnies doing it in different positions and the hands will point to a position after tapped; kind of like playing spin the bottle. They also have watches dedicated to social causes, such as the clear, condom shaped watch created to promote sexual awareness. What other watch company does that? read more

So..I was super enthusiastic to find that North Park had provided us Dallasites with this gem, but really deflated when I actually went inside the store. Its about the size of my bathroom and their selection is lacking at best. The watches they have are great, but there's only about 20 to choose from. When I go into a Swatch store I expect a Swatch explosion. A Swatch store experience should be fun - like going into a candy store in Amsterdam! This store needs more Swatches!!! read more

I wandered in here out of curiosity, my husband was dragged. They have a lot of neat things! Most of the watches are plasticy bands, some are metal and they all look pretty sweet. I think Santa should bring me something from here for Christmas. read more
