I have had (2) appointments, both very positive. The first was for an evaluation. I actually had to postpone my original appointment because I came down with a cold the week of my original appt. No issues in re-scheduling, staff was understanding. The second appt was for filling replacement. I didn't even feel when she applied the anesthesia and there was no pain during or after the procedure. Staff is friendly and office is clean. Highly recommend it here.

After checking the tooth out, they said we needed a root canal but it'll take 5 weeks for medi-cal to approve it. They made a follow up appointment as well. The best thing about this visit was they recommended a teeth cleaning the same day when the pain level was 8. We told them we're in pain and they said they'll use soft instruments and be very gentle. They also wanted to ask us if we would like braces as well. Very great chain! Love the upsell. When your pain level is an 8, you really need teeth cleaning and braces.

Also since there isn't any pain from the tooth and that it's functioning well, there isn't a need for filling it. He also advised me of some other options but did not recommend them. On my second visit, I left the office on a hurry and we both forgot to take care of the cleaning. Dr. Manji ran out to the parking lot to get me back on the chair. I had my teeth worked in December last year (2012) and my teeth are still doing just fine! As I recall, the prices were reasonable.

Van, Dr. Van is very through and knowledgeable and his wife Tiffany is a dear as well. All of the dental assistants and front office staff are very helpful, and knowledgeable. I look forward to and enjoy my visits. When I'm nervous in the chair which come with the territory right and we all are because it's the dentist chair. Dr. Van reminds me to breath which relaxes me and let's me know that he is aware of my anxiety at that moment. Usually, I have been able to schedule my appointments within a week. The wait time after checking into the appointment is long. There is a sign at the front desk stating to expect long wait times. It's the one aspect I hope the office improves on. During my first two appointments I did wait over an hour to see a dentist. After taking x-rays I was advised that I need a deep cleaning. The office would have to contact my insurance to get it approved. I was quoted it could take up to five weeks for approval; however, it was approved in less than two weeks. When I went to my appointment to receive a cavity filling it was switched to a deep cleaning on the right side of my mouth. I was experiencing great anxiety, and I let everyone know what my concerns were. Rigo, the supervisior, was compassionate and patient with talking me through my anxiety. Dr. Gabro was light-hearted and nurturing during the prep and throughout the procedure. Possibly I will get braces. The orthodontist briefly spoke to me after getting numb, and I was asked if I'll be interested in starting payments for braces at a discounted rate. I need some more time to decide so I did not start a payment plan. If you are seeking a dentist I would recommend giving the business a look.
