I told them that they had told me that it would be free after March 16 and they said I misunderstood them. I asked how much it would be without the insurance and he said $400 which is ridiculous. He said that's deal or I can pick up the computer,which i did. I brought the laptop to another electronics repair shop and they told me it would be $150 to fix and it will be ready tomorrow. That's without any insurance. When I called the corporate office they looked everthing up and agreed with me that the repair should have been done free of charge. The corporate office refunded this month's $39 charge and canceled my assurance plan. But I'm still paying $150 for a repair that should have been free. I brought it home and put it in my garage as I was going to be traveling. I went to use it yesterday and the rear tire was completely flat. I tried to pump it up but the air was seeping out. I brought it back up to Buchika's today and the service guy put a new inner tube in and gave me the package from it with $10 marked on it. I went to the register and told the person there what had happened and they proceeded to ring up the register for a $17 charge. I asked him why I would have to pay for something that was obviously defective as I hadn't even put my ass on the bike seat yet. He proceeded to tell me that if you leave a bike sitting too long the tires will get flat. I reiterated that is was less that a month since I bought it. He was not interested in discussing it at all. Needless to say I am very dissapointed in the customer service and will not be recommending anyone buy from Buchika's.

The exact same spot broke the very next day. We called and were told, "No problem--bring it back in." But when I returned, the owner--without even examining it up close--claimed it was a "different area" and demanded another $35. He was rude, condescending, and completely dismissive. Given the number of similar negative reviews, this clearly isn't an isolated incident. When the owner inevitably responds with excuses or denials, please be assured: this is EXACTLY what happened. (Note: We brought it to another jeweler in the same plaza who fixed it properly--for just $15.)
